    Lara Fabian LIVES each song she sings and more importantly she allows her audiences to live it with her .............. I cannot think of another singer who has that gift. Her voice is clear and even her belts have a warmth to them. A technically perfect performer who is, for me, the most under appreciated singer of all time.

    You don't have to be specialist of the music to recognize her beautiful voice and her feelings she puts into her songs. I discovered her for myself because I'm learning French and really love to listen to her all the time. I'm glad I can understand the text

    I want to "thank you" sir. For watching this "whole" video before commenting on it. It shows a great deal of respect for the performance and the artist ! Way too many of the people reviewing and commenting on these performances stop and start the video and seem to use the performance to make the whole thing all about themselves instead of the artist. Again, I "thank you" for showing Lara Fabian and her performance the respect it so richly deserves ! In my opinion Lara Fabian is the greatest female vocalist the world has ever known.

      I agree with you 100%. Interruptions destroy the magic, especially in such intense performances such as this.. Unfortunately CZcams has started to ban many reaction videos due to copyright infringement issues. I am not sure about the details, but from what I gather a reaction video must contain a certain amount of vocal comments from the reactor. Otherwise CZcams block the video. So the reactors have to walk a tight rope.

      Recently I thought the same thing about "Constance" by Spiritbox reaction videos. I mean it's deep... And a lot of people stop the video exactly when they get moved, so it's... stupid I mean damn, listen the whole thing and cry if you need to.

    • @fposmith
      @fposmith Před 3 lety

      @@harryschonfeld8175 The only time the You Tubers get a warning from CZcams is when "The Artist" or their "representative", publisher or Record Company complains. Lara's people do not complain about any of her music being used like this. Unlike others.

    The most incredible visitation from an angel...her voice her total involvement in the stro took us in a journey of epic proportions!!! Her depth of emotion. Her officiel vidéo from her song Llora (against women kill by there husband with English subtitle) is great .
    Without forgeting Caruso, you Are not from Here, Mademoiselle hyde, perdere l'amore (English subtitle), her duet with johnny Hallyday Requiem pour un fou(English subtitle).

      Dalida, the author and first performer of this song killed herself. So the pains that transpire in this song must have been real for her.

    • @ericsicard910
      @ericsicard910 Před 2 lety

      @@canemcave dalida is not the author. Music is from Alice Dona and lyrics are from the original singer Serge Lama, based on a relationship he had with a woman he finally succeeded to get married to. Dalida was the first cover but this was almost immediate after the song release, it made a huge hit and so this was known to be her song … until Lara came and made an even better interpretation, adding a few tweaks of hers such as the acapela section.

    Fun Fact - Dimash is a huge Lara Fabian fan, (she’s 1 of his top 5 idols). Lara heard Dimash & felt the same way, now they’re friends & have preformed together.
    In fact Lara & Igor Krutoy have been mentors & co-wrote/composed “Your Love” for Dimash which premiered Mar-2020.

    The song I'm Sick is inspired by a real heartache of Serge Lama, the story of a long secret relationship.
    In 1969, the singer met Michèle Potier in Chamonix. Love is a certainty, but they are not free either: in 1968 Daisy Brun married her press secretary, she is married and the mother of a little boy. They love each other in secret for several years and promise to regain their freedoms, but Michèle hesitates and eventually flees and settles in Morocco for professional reasons. Lama is desperate, he wants to put words on his pain without succeeding, until the day he confides to his friend Alice Dona: "This story hurts me, it makes me sick". Back home, at the piano, Alice Dona composes in a few hours a melody [...], which very quickly she makes listen to the singer. It is a revelation and Serge Lama writes almost the entire text with a jet.3 He would later say, "The 80% of the song I wrote in 20 minutes is almost a shame. [...] it came out of my heart so much that I immediately felt that this song had something that others didn't have. ». The great Serge Lama...
