Are these your optimized settings?
Without ray tracing right?
@@CZProductions No ,currently there are no optimized settings for this game because no matter what settings you choose , the performance will not be great across the entire game.
@@thiagomda123 Yes RT was disabled
honestly I'm not expecting the traversal stutter to ever be fully fixed, I played fallen order years after release and it was a noticeable problem then, too.
Yeah I agree, it's almost impossible to eliminate traversal stutters in a massive UE4 game like this but I believe they can at least alleviate the issue and make it less frequent.
Fallen Order's traversal stutter was greatly reduced for me when I upgraded from an i7 8700K to 13600K so it seems newer CPU's help reduce the effect at least, also Digital Foundry recently mentioned (during their dead space remake analysis) that we'll eventually get to a point where CPU's are fast enough to process these load points without the player noticing.
@@mathesar it isn’t the cpus problem, its the developers , dead space remake have them , while far bigger games like dying light and cyberpunk have zero !
Could it help to enable the setting to create the Shaders on load?
CreateShadersOnLoad?
@@mathesar but I have a 5900X which is not old at all and it has tons of stuttering. We shouldn’t have to buy a 7800x3d to reduce stuttering. And it still has some.
Man, your channel is a gem . You are faster than DF and showing what exactly gamers want. Thank you.
This. Thanks a lot BenchmarKing, you are the best, don't give up ;)
100% agreed
100%. BenchmarKing is the man! DF lost some respect of mine after they never put out a optimized settings video for Hogwarts legacy. They really dropped the ball and all I can assume is it was because of stupid political bs.
The King has spoken
no i havent😎
I love that you use cyberpunk music. Great video!
Thanks for the update fella
keep it up king. I just play games that u are making a benchmark about, we always support you
You can try may the performance be with you mod it will improve your frame rate without any graphical loss
Adding Precompilation for all the shaders and DLSS would help a lot already... hope we get it, even though it is an AMD sponsored title
Dude you are a legend.
Can anyone tell me the best settings to play at 1440p with a 3060ti.. i cant find any optimised setting video after patch 4.
Any plans to upgrade to the 4060ti 16gb?
I definitely felt I got more performance on Jedah planet. Looks like FPS is higher and GPU Util more often at 99%. That's the one I've been on since the new patch. Game play without RT is more stable and higher FPS. And RT was also more stable and higher.
It could be that it improves for certain systems. I might still have poor performance back on Kobah, haven't been back there, yet. But I always had really crappy performance with my 5800X3D and 4090. It's like the CPU was/is hampered or just crap. But it felt like something prevented it from working well. Maybe this patch did something that helped. Because my GPU is definitely having higher utilization.
This: we fixed the stuttering. But they haven’t actually is annoying af in a lot of games. Dead space devs said the same thing and never patched it in the end.
Dead space devs never really promised or say anything really. They just released one uodate so far and abandoned it since.
@@linhza501 They said they patched stutters in the patch notes for that one update but patched to me means all of them, they should have said severity or some.
GPU performance should be much better than what was shown in koboh with your 3060ti that easily surpasses the recommended spec requirement. Really hope they keep working on the game but EA has a track record of forcing devs to abandon ship the moment a game is even slightly underperforming (Andromeda, Anthem, etc.) so i have almost no faith.
The Traversal hitching is still present to this day in Jedi Fallen Order....I guess this is something that will never be fixed. Its a bummer tbh
5:04 what song is that I heard that before but I can't remember where?
It's from Cyberpunk 2077 , ISOMETRIC AIR is the name of the song.
@@benchmarking4386 oh that's why i heard that before I love that game
CPU improvments on i7 an i9 is big. With intel you are get a hugh boost.
That is good to hear. I watched a video of someone using a 12400f and they were getting 34fps at launch on 1440p. That being the CPU that I use, I was saddened.
I have a very good idea, you could make a series of videos of the best games from previous years "Resident Evil 3, Halo Infinite, Sekiro, Days Gone, Gone, Devil Mat Cry, Resident Evil 7, Doom Eternal..." optimizing without visual degradation
GTA 5, GTA 4, Far Cry 5 many good games...
Horizon zero dawn
This game still crashing for me on Jeddha if I turn on ray tracing there
The performance really bad in Koboh especially in pyloon saloon area where my RX 6900xt only half used by the game (I'm playing on native 1440p epic settings btw). Then this issues also happening in shattered moon and this is the worst performance I have ever experience while playing the game for over 10 hours now.
Yes, the game still has a long way to go before it can be considered completely fixed, as the performance is still inconsistent and unpredictable.
trust me there are some areas later on where the performance goes to absolute dogshiet
Thanks for the video. So, in about 2-3 years, the game will be in the state it should have been on launch. I doubt they will patch it over multiple years, so this game will most likely never run well.
nahh, this might be EA's last chance to prove they can make good Star Wars games. Since the exclusive contract between EA and Star Wars is over now, they should be under a lot of pressure. I can't believe myself I am saying this about EA, but I am quiet optimistic they'll want Respawn to patch it until it runs as it should. They won't be leaving that game running like shit on consoles and pc. After all, it's all about sales, and if the game doesn't sell good, because of performance issues, they will work on it to make it profitable.
@@sherluk_homs I hope your right but I think what is playing out across all markets even beyond videogames is the downfall of these mega-corporations (Google,EA,DIsney,Comcast etc). I am old enough to remember growing up when there were dozens of large corporations for all manner of products and industries; there still appears to be many different companies but most are owned by one huge corporation now, instead of being independent. Bill Clinton's telecom law was passed in the 1990s, and it allowed not only Huge media companies to start buying/ absorbing the competition, it also applied to basically any kind of electronic/ communication company. I remember in the early 2000s as these company's were being bought up and absorbed ( Facebook literally bought all of it's potential competition in the 2010s), thinking this is not going to end well. The same thing happened in the video game industry. We now have virtual monopolies in all major media industries and the electronics market. Just like human endeavors that get too big and flame out, I don't trust any of these Mega Corporations such as EA/Activision to make decisions that have the greater public or even they're consumer's interests at the forefront. Sorry for the rant but I think very few people realize how we got here and one of the main driving factors behind this country going down the drain. We have maniacal corporations running everything and there is no greater example/microcosm of how these mega-corporations operate than the EA in the videogame industry.
Will I get 60fps on optimised settings ? 8700k + 3070. Or should I upgrade to a 7800x3d
Depends what resolution you play. 8700K is perfect for 3070 , but in order to take advantage of 7800x3d you must upgrade your card as well to new gen AMD or Nvidia
No don't upgrade your cpu as then you will need a new motherboard and all for this game is not worth the price
One wonders what hardware they had to test these games. Why would they rely on future hardware so heavily. I am not saying there should be optimization for 10 yr old hw but games should be able to run well on current hardware.
Honestly I know people with killer machines with 3090 that have issues running this game in 2k resolution. Its really a shame since when the game works its actually really good. I am trying to run it on ultra-wide and bro when i see CPU utilization at 20% and GPU at max 56% but im on medium settings on a 3080ti and im getting 40-60 fps with sometimes dips in to the 20 range. Not to mention the IDLE time for some unknown reason jumps to 150ms
CP 2077 Konpeki Music
Evil West test hallot help
fps fine
This game doesn't need performance improvement, it's problem is stability issues and low hardware usage, but when it works, it gives good performance, and it gave good performance from the first day. Only very often it doesn't work.
Alright, so conclusion, we'll have to wait a bit more before playing this
Personally not seeing any changes on my hardware with a 3070 and Ryzen 7 5800
What is the fps atm?

What is not a game, there are always drawdowns in certain locations, games are released very raw, you need to stop buying them. Because developers do not want to engage in normal optimization
Why do publishers keep doing this? Releasing PC ports that clearly aren't ready and need months of additional development?
Is anyone playing on a 3060Ti? I have been holding out
...did u even see the video? this guy is using a 3060ti bruh...
My suggestion is to keep holding out and wait to see if they will improve the GPU and CPU performance in future updates and alleviate traversal stutters.
@@benchmarking4386 they won’t. Fallen order from 2019 still has traversal stutter
What cpu you have is more important. 3060ti is fine.
@@dylanzachary683 Yeah , While completely removing all traversal stutters in UE4 specially with a large game like this may be nearly impossible but it is feasible to mitigate the problem and reduce its frequency.
Ue4 is fucked up in every game
People need to stop buying broken games. Otherwise we will see a continuation of this trend.
Just because a game can't run on a locked 120fps on RTX 2060 doesn't mean it's broken. Back in the day games used to be shipped running at 20 fps
@@bigbadslimeestop licking their ass
2023 pc ports were nightmare it is a fact
The game is totally broken on PC since last patch. Koboh is crashing every 10 minutes. Unplayable, you can't progress...
I like how in 2023 you are buying Beta Version for 70$ and then you must wait 6 months for game to be fixed.
Unreal Engine is slowly turning into Unity of triple AAA games. What a dreadful port.
dont really blame the engine, the devs didnt take enough time to optimize. People forget how great of a unreal 4 pc port of dead island 2 or even days gone was. they are not given enough credit for the good job they have done.
Still running perfectly flawless on my end and framechasers put up a video of a $1k to $1300 build and running higher than 60fps 1440p and 4k
No traversal sttuder??
Strongly doubt you're getting 60fps on Coruscant or the Koboh saloon in 1440p epic settings. I have a 3080ti and Ryzen 7 5700x and drop down to 30ish fps in those spots
Hes tests are flawed. Dont get me wrong i love that guys channel but hes shit at actually showcasing problem areas with proper settings.
@@CZProductions always wait for the game to finished developing, don't preorder or buy before knowing ít.
I'm surprised people haven't learnt the lesson
@@CZProductions He isn't. But there are always people claiming there are no problems, probably because they don't know what they are looking at.
