- I started learning golf at the beginning of this year and got hooked. We were going to build out a theater room anyway so why not make it into a golf simulator too.
Here is my setup:
Hitting Mat and Turf: Fiberbuilt Combo Mat 10x10 (Player Series)
Screen and Enclosure: Ricks Bullseye Golf
Launch Monitor: Foresight GC3 with Ball Data
Projector: BENQ LK936ST 4k Laser
Flooring: EVA Foam Mats

Nice! I almost got that myself but figured the GC3 is plenty for my skill.

The projector's noise can be annoying when watching movies. A friend of mine built a wall between the projector and the first row of seats with a door to access the projector. He glued acoustic sound absorbers to the inside of the projector. It was a little tedious, but - as he assures me - it paid off. Thanks for the video and nice Golf-Setup. Well done.
My solution may just be cranking up the volume lol
I have a full swing simulator. Its great for the kids to be around golf all the time.
Nice initial setup! Now you need gs pro for your golf sim software.

As someone who used to install home theaters for a living.... I cannot fathom paying that much for a projector. Holy shit. Looks great though.
I have a very similar set up, you should definitely look into getting the GSPro software it is much better

Looks great! I'm rebuilding my SIM at my office, and looking at ideas. Couple questions for you - do you think having the walls painted black helps? Do you have to dim your overhead lights at all, or is the projector bright enough? I am going to incorporate cameras into my setup, so I need enough light to video me hitting.

Great setup James. How did you tension the screen? A few of those balls came back to you. Have you decreased tension since? If so would be interested to know if it made some difference.
Thanks! There's bungees that tie to the grommet of the screen to the pole. I used all of them so I have it at the tightest tension so if I want to decrease that tension for less bounce back, all I have to do is remove some to make that adjustment.

Can you share links to where you bought floor putting green plus tee set up. And the impact scream and enclosure? Plus you said you had a custom made. What is the height and width that you’re working with thanks.
You can find the exact build I have in the description box. Yes the enclosure/screen was customized from Bullseye Golf Sims and my screen is 96"x150" which makes the enclosure come out to 98"x153" hope that helps.

My impact screen size is 96"x150" and the whole enclosure comes out to 98"x153". I got it from BulleyeGolfSims.com and you can email them to customize to whatever size you want 👍

What did you put on the bottom of the impact screen is that some sort of foam or something so it doesn’t hurt the pipe?
Exactly, it's a foam for protection and doesnt bounce off the metal pipes. Everything came with the impact screen.

Thanks! I believe that's how all projectors are mounted to the ceiling.

What are your room dimensions and how wide is the enclosure that you got? Also, how far do you have to stand away from the screen to hit? Any help you can provide is much appreciated!
My room is 19ft x 17ft and the enclosure is about 12.5ft long and 8ft high. I stand about 8ft away.

I don't think it's for everyone just like any other profession. I believe you need to have some passion in what you do.
I'm software developer with well big experience looking to switch to trading. I'm doing my own system currently more analysing data in python. I'm looking for entry points like market dips and the moments they start to recover. Or popping. I do it with correlations, RSI in different timeframes. What do you think, will it work?
You are not rotating your body during the upswing. U need to rotate your body when your bring the club up to generate power and accuracy.
