As a youtuber and someone working at a big tech, after many experiments with desk setup, I have concluded that simple is king. I did arc monitor with gas-powered arms, cleverly angled such a way that camera with teleprompter with elgato arms peaks on top etc etc. But something always breaks. Then I stopped worrying about resolutions and angles I can't even see, I got my flat monitors back from basement storage, set them up with good old stands with simple HDMI cables, and I am golden. ^^^ This. Now, I've learned that I need a center of vision monitor (think "crosshair" for gaming, but that's not my point) and then perimeter or (ideally) no bezel or a large monitor. About 4-5ft wide and 5k to 8k width. But large. And manufacturers just aren't gettin' it. So BACK to 3x vertical 4k monitors for me. Yay microsoft Fancy Zones....
Much better. Like you said before you do not need big monitors to trade. Keep up the good work. I hope 2024 is a good trade year.

Great set up - nice gear too... You could always add a spanner between the feet/legs and get better after market wheel from a hardware store(even home depot have a few decent options)(there are some very solid wheel options avail. that look great as well)

If you're doing quad monitors then at least do them in tie fighter with the center two stacked horizontally as that will be the maximized orientation for the way the monitors want to display central info and programs. Everything will run faster and will look more to how things were intended to be viewed as a focus task or prgams you're centered on. Sweet setup and have you thought about doing all 3 arcs in a horizontal line side by side wrapping around the l shape of the desk? You'd have more than enough vertical real estate while having the most accessible layout for your height and posture. Killer desks too! Sorry to hear the 1st gen Arks you have suck compared to the second gens, and if you decide to get rid of the one of them feel free to hit me up. Another thought is you can pair 2 vertical 27" 4k monitors in portrait mode with a horizontal 40"-43" 4k monitor in landscape mode and its a pretty seamless focus with two side tasks on vertical or you can split into 3-4 small windows on the side ones for extra multitasking and you could be watching full size content on the center monitor full screen with that too! I'd also recommend getting a large desk mat from linus tech tips to cover the full area where your keyboard, mouse, and stream deck are up until the monitors.

They have a v2 for the Samsung ARK which supports 4 HDMI input now.

We fall prey to improving the setup with super monitors and graphics cards that we don't really need. I did something similar to you by changing my setup of 2 24-inch monitors for a 49-inch Samsung OLED monitor and I really want to go back to my previous configuration. I like the 4 monitor setup that you currently have better, I really don't know how you could work with the arc monitors

You can increase the tension on those arms, and have them be lifted off the table a couple of inches. I think the max is 33lb capacity? And the monitors are 30.4lb without the stands.

Look like you have 5 screens total. Are they all being run off one GPU? If so, what are the resolutions and sizes? I’m assuming a 4090 but I didn’t think it could run all those screens.

Need a fast entry to catch a move and comfortable accepting some slippage = market (manage risk accordingly). Planning to enter at a given level and happy to wait for price to come to it = limit. I use limit almost 99% of the time
