Absolutely the best PC builder on YT hands down. Why, because he explains everything in detail and you can actually see what he's doing. And covers everything from start to finish. Well Done Scattervolt!
Thank you!!
I used to watch this dude in middle school and high school built my own pc with a 5600x and 7700xt (when it was 100 dollars cheaper than the 7800xt) used to fawn over and dream of the day i could do it myself and i'm finally watching it no longer dreaming so hope you're doing great man!
Wanted to let you know I've used this video tremendously help me build my first PC. I installed Windows 11Pro using your code as I thought I show my appreciation.
Great video and glad I found your channel. I haven't built a computer in years and am do for an upgrade, but I haven't been keeping up with the latest hardware. This helped me out because I'm still running a pc I built back when the 1070s came out only updating to a 2070 over the years
Thanks to you and many others i build my gaming pc after much researching years
Thank you!
Reasons for me clicking on this video your a dope content creator, 2 ur a chad, 3 your informative and funny, and finally bc i have fingers
Fingers?
@@ScatterVolt yes fingers lol the things we use to make beautiful pc's and type lol :D
Oooooooooooh 😂
@@ScatterVolt 🤣🤣🤣 your alright man
Glazing 😂
After I switched to an all white build with my new pc in my profile picture I will never go back to all black. It looks to nice and I make sure to deep clean once a month. I am looking forward to the 5090 and the next x3d chips.
New video. Thats nice , you uploaded the day i went on a trip
I’m building this exact build as my first pc! Can’t wait for the parts to come and follow this video step by step 😭🔥 I’ll be able to play anything
Love the editing style and the way you articulate yourself ! Keep it up man :)
Thank you!
@@ScatterVolt Just wanted to say though that the reason why the wifi doesnt pop up even though you have the antennas on could be due to not having the motherboard wifi drivers installed 🙏 Atleast that was the reason with my Asus motherboard and i had to download the drivers on a seperate USB and transfer them
will be building this pc soon
Good vibes man! Keep uploading.
Thank you!
Why am I here? I can't afford this? I know how to build. Why did I watch?
White builds, my favorite.
You're doing something right. Keep it up.
Thank you!
Awesome build man. Thanks for explaining most of the things along the way.
Thank you!
@@ScatterVolt hey i want to build one with also 2500 but idk if i wait for 4080ti and also i want a black version dont need rgb im simple 🤣
The 4080Ti will not be coming out. The 5080 will later this winter.
@@ScatterVolt so i just build with the super then?
Best DIY PC build. Thanks
Love the wholesome build videos😍 Are you gonna build with BTF motherboard sometime?
Great video bro! My girlfriend and I have been looking into making the switch over to pc (we are coming from Xbox). Thank you for making this informative yet entertaining video. PC master race here we come!
I literally built a PC in this case two days ago, luckily everything went well
Nice
love your videos so much
Thank you!
Seems like a lot of PC for the money. Thanks for the build guide.
tbh you deserve 1m subs keep it up
Finally a new upload.
Waiting for this video for months!🎉🎉
I gotchu!
Me too !
Amazing video. It's just cementing my belief of building my own PC before going back to college.
So glad I just graduated. Fucking nightmare getting BS in civil engineering at Fresno State.
@@devinpledger2251 Feel you mate. I was getting my BC in secondary education for math at Grand Canyon but it was too expensive. Going back to college at a community college to be cheaper.
@@devinpledger2251yooo you’re in Fresno??? Me too
I have a 4080 super paired with a 7800x3D and I feel like that’s already over kill. What you did here is just madness.
It is madness haha
I'm thinking about getting the R9 7950X3D with RTX 4090 I'm always using Intel but i want peace of mind in terms of thermals and power consumption, I'm learning AMD Ryzen still on research mode
That's a great build. 4090 coming today but 4080S are back to MSRP in some places.
Very nice build. I wonder how the price would improve with a Ryzen 7 and a 1000W PSU instead. On the other hand, I am amazed that Kraken doesn't come with all white cables, for white builds. I would love to see how you manage cables inside the case
Thanks you so much! These videos have really helped grasp what building a pc will feel like. I know the you mentioned they are interchangeable, but would you change any other components if you installed a 4090 instead of the 4080s? Any other monitors/displays you'd recommend?
Amazing video 👌
Thank you!
I also have an RTX 4080 Super, It's an absolute BEAST !
It is a chunk of a graphics card
Might build this!!
It’s very nice
I will be building this as my 2nd pc. First was 1000 dollar build time for an upgrade.
Haha I just bought an H6 flow but had no idea what I want to put in it. This helps.
Hi can you please review the new Gamdias talos E3 mesh elite E Atx case it's very budget friendly case please make a video on it if you can
Will I run into any problems using my relatively new, used SSD hard drive? or is it as simple as installing it from my old pc into the new one? or is it easier to just wipe the hard drive completely and install windows again?
I am already going to buy my first gaming part to this build and I just wanted to ask did any of the pieces on your pics site change because some look different from the video like the CPU cooler
00:34 If only you knew
I think i just found a great side hustle that can help me make enough money for a Gaming setup
But only time will tell
Update in 1year:)
Exciting! I hope it works out for you (and is legal lol)
New subscriber 🎉❤❤
I'm getting a new PC, i was thinking about getting an i9 14900KS but the temperature and power draws are making me thinking about taking a different path and I'm heading more and more towards the R9 7950X3D just for the thermals control
Yes I would.
i love uuu tyyyyyyy for uploding the vidddd tyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
Hey ScatterVolt, I plan to build my first PC using all the parts you used in the video, however, I have to ask what screw driver should I get to do it all right?
Im the spongebob meme
Yooooooooooooooooo no flippin way I got pinned (instant screenshot)
Just found you (subbed) and loving the guide, im going to follow the build but i have a silly question...the cooler is different in the video to the guide link. Which is the one to go with?
Either one. Both are compatible.
I Ming be selling my whole setup and might get this
the liquid freezer iii 360 a rgb aio that the link sends you to, and the mounting bracket wont work, the pump is too big to fit the graphic card on the mount
Is there a better mainboard for this that would work with these parts and can handle WiFi better?
Gigachad pc builder
Cyberpunk is one of the main reasons I’m building a pc. Also the main reason I’m leaning towards nvidia. It never ceases to amaze me how hard that game is on PCs
What is your budget? What is your current parts list?
Dude Cyperpunk 2077 is amazing and runs perfect on my ps5. I have a 2,200 dollar gaming pc and honestly the ps5 runs cyberpunk 2077 better. Even in graphics mode. Pretty amazing how powerful that 500 dollar box is.
@@devinpledger2251 your pc must be ass or you are trying to run cyberpunk at settings your pc can't handle.
@@MrAnimescrazy got a 900 dollar graphics card in it
@@MrAnimescrazy With a Ryzen 7 7800X3D and Radeon RX 7900 XTX. One of the best cpus out there with a power house graphics card XD. Keep talking about things you don't know though. Cyberpunk 2077 runs amazing on my 500 dollar ps5 though.
Nice build man! Just unsure why you chose that cpu, iirc the 7950x non 3d is better in productivity (since the 3d cache is only on 1 of the 2 chiplets) and 7800x3d is better in gaming
7950x3d does both very well.
What program overlay do you use for your performance overlay? Thx
Eagerly Waiting for workstation setup.
😅
What would the budget look like for that one?
@@ScatterVolt1.5k 😅
I was just wondering if you had experienced cooler temps with the fans angled that way?
Hi!! Best PC build video I’ve seen! I’m interested in getting a WHITE GeForce for this build and compatibility- which one would you recommend? When I go on Amazon, I see some options but they have 3 fans instead of 2. Would the number of fans disqualify that graphics card?
Also, can I use a Hyte y70 case for this setup?
If it says “RTX 4080 Super”, in the title, then it’ll work lol
Also, if the case says “ATX”, then it’ll also work.
What’s the benefit of using the AIO fans as exhaust vs as intake?
7950 x3D or 7800 x3D if money isn’t a problem?
Would this build work with a different case? I am thinking Corsair 6500X ATX Mid Tower Case (white one).
Loved the video as always! Hate that the market is weird here: this build would cost 3700 canadian dollars which is 2700USD$
Thank you!
Newer sub and i like your content man. Well spoken and know what youre doing. Some great builds and youre helping me decide what im going to do for my build.
Thank you!
I love the sus vine booms 😂
I would personally stay away from the 7900/7950 x3d chips, they are expensive, need more cooling and sometimes don’t even work as intended, just get a 7800x3d if gaming is the priority and not productivity, even then I’d go with the R9 non-x3d chips
What do you guys think of the part list for this build?
pcbuilds.gg/build/2500-gaming-pc
i think im gonna tweak a few of the parts but overall its a sweet overkill pc and i love it
That SK Hynix drive is super fast. I have it in my PC, and by the time that I finish blinking my game has loaded already.
7900xtx and 7800x3d almost same perf for $500 less
@@clw22580 He literally said that at 41:22
@@clw22580 lol AMD can't take all of the wins for 2024 too.
Why are you displaying a Kraken 280 but linking a Arctic LF 3 360 A-RGB??? So which one is better??
I just pulled the trigger on the order for this BOM. damn youtube is going to put me in the poor house
You mean bomb? 😅
@@ScatterVolt lol yes I can't wait. what's the best practice these days with separating I/O i haven't build a PC in 10 years. one SSD for OS/Swap and data/game files? used to build with an OS drive and a separate drive to dump data to
I plan on getting a similar pc (probably the 4090 instead of the 4080 super) but, can’t decide if I should go for the 7950x3d or i9 14900k. I’ll be using it for gaming and productivity so I need the best of both worlds. Which one do you think I should choose
Both are multi core CPUs that have plenty of threads so both are great for “productivity” (they’d be overkill imo, 8 cores is still plenty)
One of them has an upgrade path though and the other one is at a dead end
Any reason you didn’t want to take advantage of the space at the bottom of the case for two extra fans?
How did you get a yellow LTT screwdriver!!! SICK!!!
I got mine at LTX!
i calculated and it's really u just need 130.35 more 2630.35 great video
Hey scattervolt. Just wanna let you know the 360mm liquid freezer 3 you linked does NOT fit with the B650 motherboard you linked. The IO panel interferes with the mounting of the cooler and is off set just enough where you can’t screw in the back two screws on the radiator closest to the IO panel.
I’ve since changed it on the website to a different AIO. That is quite inconvenient given such a small margin. I’m sorry, thanks for letting me know.
@@ScatterVolt Happy to help! Not your fault the case does say it supports up to 360mm but it’s just the fat IO panel on the B650. I made it work with some… adjustments of the case lol
@kriticalcalibre4164 I had the same issue. It's my first build, and I was convinced I was doing something wrong. Made it work.
Do a build guide for video editing pc under 200,000 LKR price tag. 1080P 8/10 bit raw video in adobe premiere pro
This’ll be my first pc
Heck yeah!
Ive been sending your videos to my friend who just got into PC gaming. The way you explain things makes me more confident and rdy to build my first PC.
P.s let me have this PC and i'll give mine away for free 😭. I have a 2080 super 8GB, 32GB ram, 4TB SSD, i9-900K and Asus Z390-A. This is a long shot haha.
I’m selling this pc lol
Hey Scattervolt bro would this $2500 or your $2000 setup be good for high end sim racing setup?
Either is fine. Nvidia might have better triple monitor support though.
Wouldn’t matter for either brand though if you had an ultra-wide/VR though.
Bro !!! I need some help please.. today finally i got rx6800, install it, and when i put hdmi to the 6800 slot, it says no signal. Any suggestions?
I dont know how but i spent more than this about 3 months ago and ended up with only a 7900x3d and a 4070😂 wish i knew what i was doing when i built it...
My brother in christ what did you build? 😅😅
Would you recommended the H6 flow over smth like the Phanteks P36OA and Cooler Master TD300 mesh ?
Honestly yeah
@@ScatterVolt how come? I feel like the rear fan they come with would help a lot
The H6 flow is nice and new. The TD300 and P360a are older cases by like 2-3 years.
since i dont play story games, and i never play with RT i would much rather have the 7900XTX for the better raw performance
I have a question will these be good with a 1440 p monitor
I plan on building a new pc this summer for gaming an streaming, is the RX 7700 XT a good pair for the ryzen 5 7600x or should I go up to the 7 7700(x)?
Either cpu is fine
the amazon link takes you to the liquid freezer iii 360 a rgb white. is it compatable with the build?
If I put it in there, then yes it is
@@ScatterVolt awesome thank you for the reply!
Are you sure the pny rtx is good? There are not a lot of good reviews on it
Hi ya bud how high is the fps on Warzone 3?
Can't wait to see what we're buying from AliExpress! Lol but for real the cpu prices there have been crazy cheap.
Hi love your videos, but can you please in the future, or if you already have in the past already please refer me to which video of yours it was but I would love to see entire walkthrough of plugging in all argb and power connections for case fans and AIO Becuase that’s always the hardest part for me if your running a 360mm aio and like 9 fans all rgb there is SOOO many cables and I don’t get overwhelmed and seems like there’s never enough places to plug everything in
You daisychain all the fan cables into one RGB cable and one fan cable and then plug both daisychained cables into the motherboard
Done.
@@ScatterVolt on every new build I’ve done I’ve never been supplied a bunch of daisy chain cables
about to buy same stiff but the SK hynix is no where to be found
Will the Arctic Cooling Liquid Freezer III 360 cooler fit into the Nzxt H6 Flow case and also clear the VRM heatsink on a MSI Mag b650 tomahawk atx mobo? Noticed the parts list is different than the video and just wanted to make sure it will all fit ok! Thanks for the help, love the sweet build, looking forward to replicating it!
I changed it for that reason yes
@@ScatterVolt The parts list is the updated version?🙏✌
Whatever is currently on pcbuilds.gg is the most up to date
@@ScatterVolt awesome, thanks man. Just to clarify, did you have any issues with the GB Aorus Elite motherboard and LF III 360 cooler at all? Seems like other people had to sand off edges (on the cooler fans) to get stuff to fit without bumping against the vrm heatsink on various different mobos.
That’d only be an issue for 280mm AIOs only I believe since they’re “wider” than 360mm AIOs, so they’d actually touch the VRMs whereas 360mm should clear them.
Would this work with a RTX 4090?
Let’s go brother 🤓☝️
Welcome back Chemist!
@@ScatterVolt one of the only channels I come back to after I built my pc😅
Do the alternative components in the list still have the same advantages as in the video? I read a comment that said the list is the updated version so I’m assuming they are the same parts. Please let me know.
They do the same thing

At the beginning of the video you can see 2 F140 fans, but he doesn't seem to use them. Do you need them for this build or not?
This monitor is actually on sale right now for $350 on Amazon. Worth the trigger pull even though I haven’t built the PC yet?
I think so.
would it be ok when building this to put in 4 sticks of 16gb ram sorry i am new to pc building also can i put in 2 ssds
Nothing wrong with that
If i have an i9 14th and i want to do stream while playing at a good quality, is the rtx 4080 super a good option?
I wonder if a graphics card that costs $1000 is a good option 🤔
I cant afford this but its fun to watch😂
What is the brand of the gpu
Should i build this now or wait?
How long will this build last without upgrades...5-10 years?
That entirely depends on what you plan to game in 5-10 years. The more you spend, the faster of a PC you’ll have
Man. Online I got everything, and uh it came out to 4000$, i still got it but I really hope I won't need to upgrade the future for a while.
My budget is more around $2300 but I rlly like these parts as a base, what would you recommend I cheap out on to bring the total down ?
I can make a parts list if you still need help.
@@MrAnimescrazy that would be very helpful :))
@Tuxedo_Elite ok no problem. I will comment with the parts soon.
@Tuxedo_Elite ok so these parts are if you want a mostly nzxt white build. Mouse is the nzxt lift 2 symmetrical, keyboard is the nzxt function 2 mini tkl, the case is the nzxt h6 flow rgb mid tower, the gpu is the 4070 ti super 16 gig zotac trinity oc, the ssd is the sk hynix platinum p41 2 tb, the ram is the gkill cl30 latency 2 x 16 gig kit at 6,000 mhz, the aio is the nzxt kraken 280 rgb, the power supply is the nzxt 2022 1,000 watt, the motherboard is the gigabyte b650 aorus elite ax ice, and the cpu is the 7800x3d. The total on Amazon before tax and shipping is 2,375 dollars. There are some things you can get for cheaper but they won't be nzxt and I would finish filling out the case with fans . I think you can fit 2 fans at the bottom and 1 at the back.
@@MrAnimescrazy I’ll definitely consider this, thank you so much !
