What laundry derergent do you use now for your little one. I completely agree with what you said about the Honest detergent for towels, I am looking for a new detergent to try thats also gentle because my baby girl has mild case of eczema. Let me know. Thanks

I love when you do baby related videos on this channel! I will definitely try some of this stuff especially the sunscreen. I'm trying to slowly get more natural products for myself so this helps. Also l know I don't have babies but would love if you did a video with Justin about what you guys regret buying or getting for Liam. I LOVE the Honest products. I use their baby wipes on myself and they're literally the only ones besides "water wipes" I am not allergic to. I like them if I get all sweaty during the day and can't immediately go shower, they're also just good for freshening up in general. ANother favorite product is their healing ointment. It's amazing all around.
I agree on the laundry stuff. I liked the oxybooster pods but they did not rinse well. So I only use them for whites. I DO like the stain remover spray a LOT. But for detergent I went back to Arm and Hammer.
I LOVE their fruit and veg spray as well.

I like Honest Diapers and wipes. However they are all great, but they didn't stand out for me. Designs are awesome, but prices are high. My son has tried a wide variety of diapers and wipes. My son has tried Pampers, Huggies, Luvs, Honest, Target brand. He never had a reaction to any of them, but if I were to pick out of all of brands that we have tried is Luvs. Luvs is a good price, I don't have any accidents. I would pick Huggies over Pampers. I like that Huggies are soft and they work really well. I also like the clean Huggies wipes that come in the blue pack. I hate Pampers wipes, I don't like the way they feel. Pampers is average and good diapers, but price is high also. My favorite wipes are from Target brand, it's the clean and nonscented ones in the blue pack. I think diapers work great when they fit the baby and it's put on correctly. Nice review 😀

April, have you tried the honest company belly balm for pregnancy? If not, what balms/lotions did you use to prevent stretch marks and itching.

Biodegradable wipes - love that! I like to keep them in my car, especially after pumping gas, but I hate the waste.

i feel the detergent is more used for cloth diapers. You don't want scent or anything extra in detergent.
April, did you try the nipple cream? If not, is there a brand you recommend for that? Also what detergent were you using for Liam's baby clothes? (:
You should try the multi-surface cleaner. It is amazing! It removes everything!

I commented before, but forgot to mention something I thought about when deciding to use them. I figured out the difference between buying Pampers Swaddlers and Cruisers (which I would use if I didn't use Honest) and buying the Honest ones. This was when my baby was really young. I figured out that I paid $6.00 more per week by using the Honest Diapers. Obviously that would not be exactly the same for everyone because everyone changes their baby differently. Some don't change during the night, and I did. Anyway, I would go to Panera for lunch at least once per week and that was over $8.00. I decided that I would rather use Honest diapers than go to Panera that one time each week, so I just switched one for the other :) I do occasionally go to Panera, but not as often. Win-win ;)
Thanks for the review. There's a lot of things I still havent tried from them. So far I've tried the Honest lotion, body oil, healing balm, spray deodorant, sunscreen, shampoo, and conditioner. Oh and laundry detergent. The lotion and body oil are great for my sensitive skin. The healing balm is a great multi use product. The old sunscreen was horrible. The deodorant doesn't work too great, but I still want to try a different scent. The shampoo and conditioner were horrible as well. And I liked the detergent. I've also noticed that they are always changing formulas. Sometimes for the better, but other times not really. I just don't like the inconsistencies. But it is great that they take their customers suggestions seriously.
We found out that the shampoo wash hurting our babies eyes too, much like the bubble bath. I thought my 2 year old was lying about it hurting her, but I decided to try it out and it hurt me. Glad to know I wasn't the only one.

When my son was born (he's 3.5 and potty trained now) I was part of the bundle and I LOVED the diapers but hated the wipes... Then with the household bundle I LOVED the oxy boosters but hated the detergent, in fact we still have some guess I should throw it away though now... But I heard they changed their wipes so I am glad they are better now. I can't remember what else we tried but overall I had a love/hate relationship with Honest Company!
I really love your personality, I have been watching and watching "honest" company reviews and everyone is annoyingly raving about everything. I don't doubt that they are good but I feel like ironically all these people aren't being honest. No way you can like everything in one company. I now feel like I can trust you. I will subscribe 😊

I use honest too, and there incredible, didn't have any issue on the diaper , but on the other hand the butt wash though , I used it once and it give my baby harsh. But I still use there diaper and wipes.

To me the new sunscreen is greasy but seems to work well.
My sister uses honest for my nieces. She loves it.
The diapers did not work for my 2 yr old. They leaked even when the diaper wasn't full. And I would definitely recommend the babyganics diapers, those are amazing!

I like a lot of their products but the glass cleaner is streaky when I used it and both it and the dryer cloths smell like glue to me.

Did Liam wear the newborn size, and if so, how long did he wear them? I think my baby is going to be 7-8lbs and the newborn diapers look so teeny!

Aura S My little guy ended up coming early and was 5lbs 15oz. The newborn size was big on him until he was about 7lbs. We didn't move to size 1 until he was at least 10lbs :)

Its probably not related. But, there is a company that has HONEST orange soda. It doesn't have sugar, calories or caffeine. It is so good!
I've been purchasing Honest for so long now! My son will be 7 months on the 27th and we have all of the same complaints! Haha! One more thing that I've noticed is their diapers run small. Maybe it's just my son but he started leaking at night so we had to go to a size 4 already! Did you have that problem as well? Anyways, thank you so much for being so honest! I enjoyed this video as always!
I did they do run small. I actually think it has to do with what they are made of. I used pampers swaddlers who are made with a stretchy material so it contoured (hence swaddle). Since the honest diapers are made of a biodegradable plant based material they don't stretch as much but I haven't had an issue with leaking since I change his diaper often :)
He's only had a problem leaking overnight so now I use Pampers for overnight. But I love Honest Diapers.
I wasn't a fan of the diapers, I liked the body wash/shampoo for my daughter but she got it in her eyes once and screamed too so I haven't used it again. Everyone thinks I'm a terrible mother for using J&J but I love it.
It's funny how quickly people will judge you for using j&j products. I wonder if they ever asked their own mom's what they used. Lol. Betcha they would say J&j or regular soap which is far worse hahaa

Maybe some people are against j and j because they test on animals? This what I've heard I actually haven't looked into it myself as I don't use their products anyway. I recommend lush for bubbles my kids love them..my two year old will even eat some when your not looking!

Crystal Z Rico they were using formaldehyde in their baby products for decades. (While knowing this chemical caused cancer.) J&J no more tears also includes a numbing agent. It deadens the pain receptors so the child doesn't feel the soap stinging.
