Because they're both Muslims? Seems a bit simplistic and even patronizing, but maybe it could be the start of a joke - Two Muslims walk out on stage together. One says, "Peace, love, and brotherhood!" The other says, "Yeah... so... now what do we talk about?" Nah. Comedy needs tension, not just people who pray alike.

I know most are (including me, I like to think), but there are still way too many that are either super prejudiced or just can't take a joke. Unlike this guy, who can stand up on stage and make fun of his own religion for our enjoyment.
Tripping Pug I agree but you have to understand when you confront someone about something that they have been believing in all their life and telling them basically that what they believe in is wrong, you cannot expect them to be too happy about it. I am in no way saying that you shouldn't criticize ideologies but what I am saying is that most people who get offended quickly based on the premise of religion are usually uneducated. The combination of no education and the questioning of one's beliefs will cause them to be very unhappy and offended.
Yeah, maybe. And I guess I don't really have to many problems with the people that just can't stand people making fun of their religion. But the prejudice... even if you are uneducated with some sort of 'classical' religious upbringing, I won't excuse hatred of people who are not like you. It pisses me off that people still think that being gay is a choice, or that Islam is any worse than Christianity. Though I guess I've just always thought that even if you are totally uneducated, even brainwashed, that you should have some sense of logic when it comes to how you treat people who are different.
Edit: Really, I just get sick of being told by people who are atheist or whatever that I'm some sort of unusually good person because I'm Christian and still think people should be treated well no matter what. I'm not unusual, but any kind of religious person that anyone ever sees on the news or whatever is some extremist or just generally a terrible human being.
The ones I know are horribly hypocritical and very bigoted. They hate a lot of other people.
The "not all muslims" joke kinda went unnoticed by the audience but that line was hilarious and so clever!
What I like about this guy is how effortlessly and smoothly he delivers a punchline without awkward, choppy transitions and wierd nonrelated stories.

This guy represents Islam in a well-calculated way. The humour allows people to be more open to it. It is a unique approach and conveys the message that practicing Muslims are “normal” in every way , and the rest of his conduct in his life would further portray how these same “normal” people can also be exceptionally modest in character , implementing the teachings of a religion that encompasses every sphere of human life.
