    Every principal engineer I know from faang claim they make over 1.2mil in salary+rsu.
    Your numbers seem much more reasonable

      It’s federal income tax. Washington state has no state income tax.

      That's about making $80 an hour if you work full time 40 hours per week (not including taxes). The point is you need to be of a higher quality man that provides value and put in the hours unlike so many degenerates that just "wants money".

      They redid the base salaries in 2022. In 2021 the cap on base salaries was 160k.
