At this point, the one you can find.
RTX 3080's will eventually become available again. That being said, unless the FE comes up with a different power connection solution, like a 'power link', then that card is off the table for me. I really like the looks of the card but I just can't accept that power cord set-up. I'm still evaluating the rest of the line-up.

thats exactly what i did, i got a new Gigabyte OC one from the private Market.. yeah i would loved to have an Aorus 3080 Master or the Asus 3080 OC but even having any 3080 now is almost a miracle... well also the Gigabyte OC one is pretty cool anyway :)

Please, they're not that hard to find. Took me all of 2 days with discord notifications. Any product like this where stock trickles in isn't too bad, it'll be the consoles that are way harder to find after launch. Way bigger, but much more infrequent shipments

i actually found one in stock a few days ago, however it was twice the retail price where it should be 970$ CAD, it was selling for 2K CAD price.

@@BiggestgaMer64 no that's US money. rtx 3080 is said by nvidia to sell at 700$. since Nvidia is a US Company, the currency defaults to USD, that said the 700$ is USD which is about 900 or 950$ CAD.

I literally have RGB on all my parts except my PSU (hope it doesn't fail without that RGB). Might get a strix 3070 for that RGB bar.
@@HayderAbdulridha you're good all you need is rgb on your gpu, cpu, and fans. But you'll get better performance if you have rgb mouse, keyboard, mobo, psu, and rgb strips for your case and monitor.

Ordered a TUF a few days after launch, after I saw its temps and that it was closest to $CAD msrp but before the creshes and cap issue were found out. I'd be very glad with my order - if not for the fact it hasn't shipped yet, 2 weeks later.

I can't believe you didn't have a Swiss Army 3080. Its got all of the features that the other ones have AND it has a Phillips Screwdriver. AND it comes with tweezers. AND downloadable RAM.
I think something to consider would be that Zotac cards have a 5 year warranty vs 3 years for Asus. I love Asus, but Zotac usually charges a little less, plus they give you 2 extra years of warranty. For a higher end gpu that you could easily use for 5 years or so, i think that's worth mentioning :)

When they become available, I'll do the FE version for resale. I could be wrong because of the TUF card's temperatures. I have full workstation chassis, so I personally don't worry about temperatures.

@@ProfessorPhysics2 No thanks "bro". 8gb of vram isn't enough for my use case. One 4k/60Hz monitor and one 1440p/144Hz depending on what type of work or gaming I'm doing. That would be a downgrade even if it happens to be ever so slightly quicker. I'll just wait and see what AMD brings before I settle for a 3070 that I don't want.

Aside from stock shortages,
I personally have an issue with the length of some of these new cards. I have a front mounted rad in my system and the clearance for it means that I will be locked into either the FE card or EVGA XC3 Black card as they're the only ones who have a chance to fit with my system's front mounted rad.

I'm so happy i got my Asus rtx 3080 TUF in the mail on 1.10. :) I live in Finland and ordered it like 2 minutes after the launch time. Guess it helps to live in a smaller country.
I wish you would test these in close cases because Im sure we would see a huge thermal difference with the FE blowing a significant portion of the hot air OUT of the case.

I mean, depends on your bank account, many do have enough but might not be willing to pay the msrp price. If I do pick up a 30 series gpu, I’d sell my old one right after to make up the gap. Spending 750 and make up 350 is better than just buying the card outright. Hell, If you don’t have enough, borrow the money from a family member equiv to your current gpu, that way you can sell it and pay them back.

I'm happy to wait a year, but prefer the simple yet striking design and compactness of the Founders Edition. I also like the way it blows most heat OUT of the case instead of just AROUND the inside of it. Would have been much more useful to see temps in a closed case environment.

Bitwit i have a pre order for the msi trio on backorder. Which 30 series card would you consider the best between the msi trio, asus swift or founders edition? Seriously considering canceling this preorder. I don't mind paying a premium for a better card or waiting for the FE
Almost a year since the 30-Series have been released, and I finally got one.. Just recently (2 days ago) was able to get the EVGA 3080 FTW3 Ultra via the EVGA queue system. It did take awhile, but the wait is over.. I'll have one of the Hybrid 3080 FTW3 poppin soon too.
I was really hoping by this time that GPUs might be more accessible for everyone. I really hope this does not become the norm..

I did the EVGA StepUp offer for the 3080 FTW3 and moved up to the 3080 Ti FTW3 since that post. Actually just got the 3080 Ti sent back from EVGA 2 days ago! Really haven't even had a chance to play with it too much yet. Waiting on a few parts from EK, then the water block is getting slapped on. Then, I'll start pushing it and see where it can go. :)

I've heard a mixed bagged reviews of the EVGA 3080s, and considering I've only had EVGA cards my whole entire life, I was kinda hesitant and bought a zotac instead w/ the 5 year warranty. I hope you're 3080ti serves you well though, I didn't see any bad reviews compared to the standard EVGA 3080, so I'm sure they fixed whatever was wrong with it.

I have a Tuf gaming 3080 in my main build and the Founders edition 3080 in my mini ITX build. It's honestly surprising how well the FE performs against the board partner cards compared to previous series.

I really want to get my hands on the TUF but I can't find it anywhere. Newegg isn't implementing any anti-bot features, no they are bought within seconds from scalpers.
I have the 3080 fe, and love it. Super sleek design. Just looks and feels premium.

If I had to choose between the three I would go with a zotac trinity. I have a "zotac 1050ti oc edition", and it is still kicking ass and taking names! Im sure the others are just as great, just zotac holds a place in my heart.

ive got a 3090 version of this (zotac trinity) and i havent opened it since purchasing yesterday. im hesitant since ftw3 ultra 3080 was what i wanted. but saw this on the shelf and grabbed it. i dont only game, but i also edit 4k video (non youtube stuff). should i keep it? ive got 2 weeks to decide. any 2 cents about this cards latest state and performance is appreciated.

Watching this on a 40" monitor the ultra shallow DOF in the card shots are uneasy on my eyes. I'd like most of the card to be in focus to not strain my eyes. Maybe consider a few steps smaller aperature and moving the lights closer if it's not enough for a noise free image at deeper DOF with same distance/lens.
According to Jayztwocents video, it seems like the asus and nvidia cards didnt have issues with overclocking. I think the msi brand was good as well.

Depends where you live, in the UK availability isn't too bad but is still a back log of ~1-2 months. As for the US I'd say you probably won't get one b4 Xmas
