Sorry bro I had the same pump sprayer like the one you discarded for perhaps more than 8 yrs and it never failed me. I am tired of the pumping so I took the plunge and went battery powered. Its more expensive but it works like a charm and also I had other dewalt batteries that is compatible. Its was a no brainer for me.

@@TheLawnEngineer I still have the old one. I must say I barely use it though. I mostly use it to spray portions of my lawn to kill weeds. However I needed something more efficient to spray the whole 10000 sq ft of my lawn it it wasn't going to cut it that's why I took the plunge.

Needed more details on the components because came without an instruction booklet. You're unboxing title led us to you but you didn't real go into that portion enough. Maybe you could update another video on that portion

Bought mine this week at HD to spray grape vines for powdery mildew. It worked well for the first application with the brown nozzle. It’s about $90 bucks now.

Great video!! I like these types of sprayers for spot spraying/ area spraying. when I do my entire yard the ORTHO dial and spray works well-- just a thaught. great idea on the straight Kentucky bluegrass! I did that a few years back, well worth the effort!! again- good vid!

I like to soak the house siding with cleaning solution before washing it. Can you try to see how far it can spray 20ft 30ft 40ft etc ? Thanks
Unfortunately the weather hasn’t been good here, haven’t had a chance to test yet.
I've had this item for about a month. Hose just developed a leak. No online source for replacement. The swivel fitting makes it so I can't just buy new hose. this sucks.
That really stinks. Did you try contacting Dewalt directly, some companies are actually very helpful. I haven’t had to contact Dewalt but I’ve been pleasantly surprised by others.
Mine didn’t come with the regulator or the pump handle. It’s battery operated. Is that model battery operated.
No, mine is not battery operated. I have to use the hand pump to build pressure.
Those chest straps have a vertical adjustment on each side. Just slide them down 😉
I moved them all the way down and they are still far from the center of my chest. Good tip, but in my case they need more adjustability.
How do we depressurize it when done? Do I need to do that? Thank you
Only way is to spray the product, but the pressurized chamber is a separate from the tank so it’s not too bad to do.
Suggestion for future videos:
Please measure out the 1,000 SF area to calibrate your nozzles. Guessing usually doesn't work well.
Suggest you actually measure out the water sprayed out in your tests. Tank gallon markings can be off.
That is a good suggestion, thanks for checking in Ken. I also struggle with the amount of overlap I'm using, a marking dye would likely improve that.

I am trying to figure out how to set up the pump handle... but you're not showing it! argh... it looks like you made cuts in the videos, and the pump handle magically appears in different direction...
The handle is made to rotate out of the way for storage. If I remember correctly, it slips over the piece on the pump and a bolts goes thru it. I hope that helps.
Can you show what the metal cone nozzle looks like seems like it might be better for bed weed applications
Yea the metal nozzle is an adjustable spay, from a solid stream to a wide cone. That is what I use for glyphosate in flower beds, I’ll get some footage.
You didn't mention the little pocket on the belt for storing your extra nozzles I thought that was a really cool touch

You have to pump 80-90% of the time for full coverage spraying.
Can you use 30 second cleaner in this to spray vinyl siding also?
Yes, absolutely. I think it would also work great for pest control sprays
Can the Dewalt 20v pressure washer be attached to it?
That would be pretty slick, you could have 4 gallons to do remote cleaning, spraying.
I don't think the hose would connect directly, but I'm sure you could get that worked out. I believe the biggest issue is that the pressure washer wouldn't be able to pull directly from the tank, you would have to manually pump to get the fluid into the smaller pressure chamber.

That probably depends on where it hits 🙃I’ll think about testing that out .

Also checkout my lawn/landscape playlist. Ive recently killed off my lawn and switched to 100% bluegrass. Bluegrass is difficult to grow from seed but once it’s established it will fill in bare spots on its own. Otherwise you have to seed the bare spots and get the watering right.

I'm sorry this wasn't what you were looking for. Based on my experience with this manual spray, I would bet the battery powered one is pretty good too.
Didn't really show a good angle of nozzle replacement I'm still lost
Sorry I didn’t get a good angle on that. It’s pretty straightforward, there is a nut/collar you turn off with your fingers and the nozzle drops out of place.
