Looks like a tasty way to cook those greens. I love them, but have never grown or cooked them. The meats always look so good. I've honestly never had proper ham like that. The old ways are so much cleaner, no chemicals added. Megan you eat healthy which will keep you strong. Your little one is learning to cook and bake and thoroughly enjoying herself. Warms ny heart.

If only more of the 'modern' people could try living like you do, I think the entire country could be more healthy. I totally love watching you and your family prepare meals using your own, homegrown, foods...no preservatives, and no additives...you can just look at the colors and see that they must be better for you. Amazing to watch, and I thank you so much for sharing your family with me. 💙

Maybe I can try and grow some next year in my garden. Your little girl is so precious! I love watching her grow up and love that you are teaching her how to do things in the kitchen. Such precious memories! I also noticed how long your hair is getting. So beautiful. Hope your family has a blessed Thanksgiving.

I was taught to cook collards the same way. Do you use the "pot likker"for anything? Do you like to put pickled peppers on yours? It's like being at my Mawmaw's house. We had a cast iron skillet that was only used for cornbread. If anyone tried to use it for anything else fireworks for sure. LOL
