*FACTS*
Watching his house sink below the clouds was a metaphor for him finally letting go and "starting a new adventure" like his wife wanted. He's sad to see it go, but he ok with it because it's no longer the "only" thing in his life anymore.
It's a small moment, but so important, because it's such an overlooked step during the grieving process. Such a great movie!

Ellie's message in the adventure book for Carl always gets to me ! It's so sad but also so touching !
people crap on the 2n half an even 3/4 of this film but to me the themes are still well expressed...yes its absurd but thats the point its about adventure...its about finding people to care about...to try.....thats how carl rediscovers his passion for living..through adventure...its not real cause its a cartoon so why try to make it all feel real?..let it be a cartoon...it still works..

I love how this movie deals with being young, old and in between, and makes everybody of any age feel it. Young people usually have a hard time connecting to older people, but this movie breaks through that.
This is the real power of this channel, with the multigenerational reactors.
The Squirrel part still gets me to laugh😂😂

I love the squirrel moments, especially with Alpha's high pitched voice. The opening of this movie is so sad and it gets me every time.

Surprisingly it didn't
Russell was in the waiting room while his older brother was auditioning. Director Pete Doctor happened to be present and saw him playing. He felt that he was perfect for the role and cast him immediately. The villain is played by Christopher Plummer

I went and saw this in theaters. After the opening segment between Ellie and Carl the theater was completely silent except for sniffles from people crying.
You guys should do a top 5 favourite movies on the channel so far. I'd love to hear you talk about which movies you've enjoyed the most.
I like how the soundtrack actually has a track of the various sounds Kevin makes.

This movie gets me every time. When we first watched it, my wife and I had just found out we can't have kids. It's amazing how a movie "for kids" gets to portray these heavy subjects so great.
Such a great movie. One of my go-to's when I reveal to people my love for animated movies. This one, and more recently "Inside Out" get me every damn time.

Another emotional Pixar movie. Both my mom and I love this movie, and my mom said this movie is by far her favorite one. Really love all your videos reacting to Disney and Pixar movies. Can't wait for more!

I just love this story, it's so imaginative, and I can definitely relate to a lot of it as I get older. I thought Ed Asner was the perfect voice for Carl. He was also Santa in _Elf_ with Will Ferrell. My parents watched "Mary Tyler Moore" when I was a kid, but I usually didn't know what was going on, I mostly just wanted to see the MTM logo at the end with the kitten haha
I’ve been to the real Fenton’s ice cream shop that inspired the one at the end of the movie. It was where the animators would often meet.
They have a lifesize Dug, complete with the “cone of shame”. 😉😄

A surprise to be sure but a welcomed one.
Apparently, they never watched movies before starting a youtube channel.
Each upload in introductions they tell us who's seen the movie and who hasn't. There's movies where they confirmed they've all seen it. Plus Storm was explaining she was avoiding trying to spoil Kim at an amusement park so I think it's safe to say their honesty is pretty credible.
The beginning of this one is so sad.
The opening of this film is so sad and proves that any film can make you think especially Pixar films enjoy.

Pixar's second most emotional movie ("Coco" still takes the cake for me). At the "Thanks for the adventure" scene, I had to pause it and proceed to bawl my eyes out for some 15 minutes.

The start where it throws your emotions all over the place without a single word is just amazing film making by anyone's standards. Shame we don't see the reaction to the doctors visit after the cloud scene or the hospital later on. Would be nice to see you react to another under rated gem, Big Hero 6.

Wall-E and Inside Out pack the hardest punches.
Kubo and the Two Strings - came out before Coco, a better movie imo, and a medium rarely covered in reaction videos: stop-motion/claymation. It's a masterpiece.
While I find the shade unnecessary (and they are very different films), I agree that way more people need to see Kubo.

It is an amazing movie both funny and sad. I never saw an animation movie like this before and it changed my all perspective on modern animation films. I was never interested in watching animation films like Toy Story or Shrek until I saw this movie. This movie deal with real life inside a fun animation film you seem to forget it is an animation film. Similar movie like this is Big Hero 6
