Al-Imam Al-Haafidh, Adh-Dhahabee ( may Allah have mercy on him ) said in Siyar A’laamin Nubulaa’ ( vol. 2, pg. 168 ): " إن العرب إذا قالت: فلان أبيض، فإنَّهم يريدون الحنطي اللون بحليةٍ سوداء".اهــ “Verily when the Arabs say: “So and so is Abyadh ( white )” Then what they mean is a light-brown or Wheatish Complexion with a black undertone!” وحلية الإنسان هي ما يُرى من لونه أو مظهره And a person’s Hilyah ( overtone ) is what’s seen of his color and his appearance!”
Abud Darda' reported God’s messenger as saying, “God created Adam when He created him and struck his right shoulder and brought forth his offspring white like small ants. And he struck his left shoulder and brought forth his offspring black as though they were charcoal. Then He said to the party on his right side, ‘To paradise, and I do not care’ and He said to the party in his left shoulder, ‘To hell, and I do not care’. Mishkat al-Masabih 119
Egyptians made a clear distinction between them and Nubians though? So how can he say the Nubians are the same as Kemetian/Egyptians? The Egyptians may now be mixed with alot of Nubians now yes however the Egyptians of the North are heavily mixed with Assyrians, Hittites, Persians, Greeks, Romans, and Arabs now. I believe its difficult to find a pure Egyptian now.
Yes, the Prophet ( صلى الله عليه وسلم ) was indeed a black Arab man resembling the complexion of Nipsey Hussel or Haile Selassie‼️ I also saw our Prophet ( صلى الله عليه وسلم ) in a dream many years ago‼️ The word Abyadh: “European or Caucasianal white” in Arabic is not what’s intended when the old Arabs talked‼️ Rather, what they meant was: Al Hintee Al-Laun meaning - “Wheatish or peanut Complexioned” with an Hilyah ( Overtone ) of Sudaa’a ( Black or brownness ), “Lightskinned” or “Mixed” because the Arabs originate from a hot region, constantly under the sun which naturally gives them a dark tinge and tanned so their complexions range from being very dark, light brown to many shades of a brown people never pink or red people‼️ So when the Arab used the word “Black” it simply meant very dark complexion and “Abyadh” it mean light-brown or Lightskin‼️
