- hi guys, super excited to present my signature style top speed review of the Skoda Slavia 1.5L Petrol 7 Speed DSG model which offers crazy performance and is kind of a new benchmark in its segment. This is an Unscripted POV Drive Review with the Top Speed High Speed Stability Test Run and checking other parameters like suspension, braking, comfort, and the luxury feel the cabin has on offer.

@@amitrana1287 lol don’t you read the dual ? It touched 202 and was still going strong in 5th gear , it had 2 more gears left since it’s a 7 speed unit . The 1.5 tsi has been known to touch 230-235 kmph as per videos from Europe
6th and 7th gears are overdrive. Also the European fuel would give 230kmph, not Indian fuel.
A car touching 200kmph without much effort is arrived friends under 20 lakhs....beast for a reason ❤️❤️

Look at the car's stability on such a narrow and undulated road. I currently own the 2L Chevy Magnum, which was known as diesel rocker for a reason, running on stage 1+ from Code6. It was challenging for me to find my next car. I love the mighty Octy VRS, but that's above my budget. This 1.5 TSI looks like a worthy upgrade. Get a stage 2 or 3 maps and rule the highway! Sedans for life!
0-50 kmph in first gear, 15-100 kmph in second gear, 25-160 kmph in 3rd gear, 35 - 180 in 4th gear, 40-200 in 5 th gear with 6 and 7 gears as spare .. no words .. 👍
Extra gears if you damage any of the top 3 gears😂
There is no 7th Gear
It is 7 speed dsg not manual

Nice emotional review! I like the format of giving a tour of the features while driving it. Only thing, your camera has glaucoma for some part of the video, but gets treated later on. You think virtus 1.5 will be worth waiting for?
A great product from Skoda 👌. Very well presented Dino bhai 👍. Skoda should definitely consider a sporty looking Onyx variant with all black interior and exterior bits and 3 spoke flat bottom steering at least for the 1.5. Enthusiasts will absolutely love it.

i test drove the automatic 1.5 .. it has very slow pickup in start when moving from stop ... is that normal for an engine like this ?
dsg wont allow for aggresive launches to prevent the gearbox
@@Unknown-um2bm but at least it should give a normal pull.. it seems to hold back & not move also apparently, so im thinking is it a design issue ?
@@anoosurf It's a conscious design change to protect the DSG gearbox. There is nothing wrong mechanically with the engine or gearbox.

No is my answer .. stock Verna diesel cannot keep up with this car.. there is a drag race video available between kushaq 1.5 and Verna 1.6 diesel.. there kushaq wins. So ofcourse slavila is faster than kushaq

Nope you can’t ! The verna already loses to the kushaq . Slavia is faster than the kushaq , because of a different remap and aerodynamics ofcourse

To be more on safer side, the top speed should be tested on NATRAX. As it offers high speed stretch with more safer environment 👍👍👍

If you don't care about mileage at all, then 1.5 DSG Slavia/Virtus anyday...!
Offcourse skoda or VW is top class in terms of performance but this being petrol will give single digit mileage if driven at high speeds which is its sole purpose .. but Verna will give performance and mileage as it is diesel.

Slavia 1.5 is costlier by 2.5 lakh on road than Honda City. Is it worth 2.5 lakh extra over honda city? Already satisfied customer of honda City 2011. Driving pleasure and Low NVH is priority.
This engine is a gem! NVH, I’m guessing it is on the same level. If driving pleasure is your main priority, this is amazing.
1.5 is a performance oriented variant meant for enthusiastic driving on open roads. If you don't want performance, the 1 litre is good enough for day to day driving and I believe price is similar to that of the city.
