- What you need to build one.
1. Frame: Shifter Kart Chassis, or any Gokart Chassis
2. Motor: Surron Light Bee or QS Motor (Found on Ebay)
3. Controller: FarDriver 27530 or BAC 4k/8k
4. Battery: 48v- 72v Lithium Battery of your choice
5. Motor Mount: Metal, Blood, Sweat, and tears
6. Drive to Wheels: Surron Chain drive conversion matched with 420 chain and sprocket
7. Wing: 44" Aluminum Amazon Wing
8. Throttle: E-Bike Throttle Box (uses stock go kart throttle cable)
9. Hardware: 99 Trips to Ace Hardware

You have to find them locally. We got ours off Facebook marketplace.

If u use the stock Surron battery a BAC-controller is overkill and u cant really get the goodies out of it. Then a TORP controller matches better. Even a stock Surron controller works.

I honestly want to take a pedal kart and put a 3-5000w motor on it with ebike batteries and a thumb throttle and an F1 steering wheel with off-road tires around 20 inches outer diameter

It’s a surron Light bee motor. 8000w sounds about right. Buy a used surron motor, or check out Electro and Co for full kits.
Can you make a video on the electrical part (controller, battery, switch, throttle, etc)?
It’s really complex to get the app working correctly and can be a total nightmare. But next video I can go over the baseline settings in the app with the FarDriver controller.

They’re just standard Race Shifter Kart Wheels. You can get them on Amazon. The controller is what sends power to the motor.

Would be a very short run time. But you could get 2 of them later on.

No clue. But it handles dialed. Mines an Emmick Chassis

The chassis are Gokart race chassis. We didn’t make them. You can buy them new or find them used on marketplace, which is what we did. They can be hard to find locally.

No hate, but gas is easier to built and way cheaper. Ik electric dominates gas but still
I much prefer the price of gas karts but electric is alot more quiet so night time riding would be stealthier

So much wrong in the way you guys built this. If you want your kart to last, maybe not do it this way guys. Karts are delicate. You guys hammered your axle. Ruined your chain. Alignment.

That sprocket is temporary while the new sprocket is on order, we rigged it to finish the video (as mentioned in the video). Yah its a old GoKart not a Lamborghini, everything on that thing was rusted or corroded so we used a rubber mallet.
@@motomatt224 never hammer the axle. When you sand it. Even a light sand. Trust me. I’m building an electro and co qs138 kit go kart. Sand the axle. Until it’s silver. Watch how smooth it’ll spin and to I interchange parts

@@redbaron2k7 you connect the gokarts standard throttle cable into a e-bike Throttle Box. The original surron had them or you can find any standard 3 wire throttle box online.
