on my laptop there's only one option on the Choose settings the data erasure and not the Data drives ? It is a older Toshiba windows 10 laptop. And will windows 10 operating system not be erased ?
Try to update your laptop 1st. Maybe it will show more options after update.

I don't have that option. It asks how I want to reinstall windows. Local or cloud. I already have another pc and do not want to reinstall windows on that pc, just want to reset it.

I reset with a USB recovery drive. When I reach the blue screen "Let's start with region..." can I remove the USB and force shut down the computer? Is everything now ready for the next user to setup? Thank you!
