- After a year and some of living in our renovated house, mistakes and issues became more obvious. We decided to rectify some of the issues and are starting with the tiles in the wet rooms and garden patio.

Very nice! Good choice!
Good to see you back, Roy!
Shame about the tiles. I have always found that mat or satin tiles were more difficult to clean than shiny glazed ones.
You are lucky to get builders when needed. Here in the UK, I am still waiting for a plumber to fix my taps and the toilet flush. I believe they won't come what they deem as low cost jobs.
Hi.. the builder is actually Thuy's uncle and there are builders everywhere in our village. I cant imagine the extortionate price they will charge you for building work these days in the UK. Hope you can get them sorted quickly.. before they escalate. Cheers!
Hey Roster I’m in Da Nang if you and family come this way let me know our families can meet for dinner 👍 remember my wife is from Pleiku
Hey Bryan.. we will certainly get in touch when heading your way. And likewise.. let us know when you are in Gia Lai. BBQ and beers on the new improved patio. Cheers!
Great to see you posting again .. hope the tiling goes well. What a job removing them. I'm up there shortly to visit friends in HCMC
Thanks 👍
cmon man its summer time in Vietnam. wheres some new videos from one of my fav youtube channels. im in Da Nang and considering a train trip to Quy Nhon. I remember you did a video of that super scenic town slightly north of there
Wow. No power tools to lift those tiles. I did a bit of retiling in my house in Thailand and I would not have done it without a Bosch impact sds drill to lift up the old tiles. Ok see they got the sds drill out later in the video; phew!
I was shocked at first, then the tools arrived later to get the job rolling. Where in Thailand are you? Cheers!
Nice to see you back! 😊 Happy New Year!!!
Hey there.. hope you guys are well. Happy New Year to you. Its good to be back
We'll be doing the same with our bathroom tile.. but with us we're not happy with the grout.
Same here.. I’m still not happy about the lack of tile spacers and width of the gap between tiles. I much prefer a thicker grout and even cement with a sealer coat. Despite this, the tiles have freshened up the wet areas and we are much happier. Cheers!
Great to see you back, I was wondering what happened to you guys. The plants in the court yard looks amazing.
Hey James.. I have been working pretty hard of recent, and with the kids being young, have had no time to sit around playing with cameras and such. Still busy though, but keen to document our life. The plants are all down to Thuy.. its her hobby and plan decorate the front yard. cheers!
