He said that he never wanted to play piano in his songs, but his mom wanted him to when she was alive, so he did this, and it sounds amazing.
He had always been a mama's boy so this was very hard for him. His dad left him when he was very young. His mother remarried and he took his steps father's last name (Tomlinson) and his mother had 4 daughters. So he said "we'll end just like we started,just you and me and no one else"but little he did know that his lil sister was the one was going next. She was 18 and died just some days this song came out.😔

"Defenceless" and "Copy of a Copy of a Copy" are really great. And "Don't let it break your heart" has the most beautiful lyrics! But his entire album is amazing!
I knew one of her favorite song was fast car by Tracy chapman his mom was young when she passed only 43 in 2016 and left 7 children so sad youngest 2 years old and his album walls is very good album i wish you react to it . Especially my favorite song fearless

He was always a mamas boy so it was hard to lose his mother his father left him when he was very young a few days after this song he released this song his sister passed away at the age of 18 his mother was very young when she had him which is why he says “It well end just like we started just you and me”
And Louis was always an amazing Lyricist one of the best in my opinion he wrote a vas majority of 1D songs and their biggest hits
I think “Tattooed on my heart are the words of your favourite song” is metaphorical for the details of her life he holds dear and will never forget. Just guessing.
His mom Johanna passed in 2016 so he wrote the song in his grief and sang it about a year ago and then released it... still tear up hearing the lyrics
His voice is awesome.
I thought breakup until he said "the day they took you". Live one life for the two of us is a beautiful line and such a beautiful song remembering his Mom. Sorry for his loss.😢

I’ve been a fan of Louis since the early one direction days, I’ve seen them all grow up and develop as artists, Louis has always been so open about his feelings, not afraid to be vulnerable. He loves writing songs people relate to, songs that inspire others to keep going, keep fighting. Louis is honestly one of the strongest people I’ve ever met/known of. The man is so kind, always so positive, just wants everyone to be happy and cared for. He’s such a genuine artist and I’m sure if you’re interested in reacting to more of his songs you’d notice that too about him through his lyrics. He was pretty involved in songwriting since One Direction’s third album, which he wrote on 12 of its 18 tracks. This was also the album that changed their sound from the “bubblegum pop” everyone thinks they did their whole career when that was only in the first two albums, before Louis fired their writers and took control. After that the rest of the guys joined and started writing their own songs.
I recommend his song “Copy of a copy of a copy”, it’s a new one he only sang live once during a livestream in December. No studio version yet, but the video and audio of him singing it are super clear since it was an online show, so only him and his band can be heard.

Louis is how an angel sounds
So many criticism, so much mean stuff saying Louis was the expendable, the one without voice or talent… oh, he shut up so many mouths with his album. He was able to sing in his low tenor voice that has such an interesting sound to it and in the appropriate range. He sounds GREAT! Louis is in a different category. And Suffi, I’m more a fan of Harry Styles but there’s no point of comparison. Different types of voices and quality among these five boys/men… it’s like trying to decide who’s better singer, Zayn or Harry. You can’t compare. I just wish well even to Zayn. And when it’s so hardly earned by Louis, my respects.

Kill My Mind is more upbeat, indie rock, Fearless is beautiful and somber, Walls the song and album are no-skip...He’s just got such a gorgeous tone and a lovely gift with words; you can’t go wrong with any of his songs, really. Copy of a Copy of a Copy is his latest; it’s absolutely awesome.

This is his most vulnerable and deeply personal song from his album Walls. Very sad but it carries a lot of hope and comfort to me.
All his song writing are very personal. If you liked the sound of this song I’d recomend to also check out the song Walls and maybe Kill my mind which is the most rockiest song on the album.
He did a livestream concert not that long ago where he did his whole album and the live sound with his band differs a bit to the studio version making all song more... well slightly more alt rock. His live band just adds even more to an already great album and he performed a new song there called copy of a copy of a copy.

😢 I've NEVER Been Able To Get Through This Song Til The End Without Crying Hard and Feeling Deeply Hurt.... I've Just Tried Again... and Failed Again... I also lost my mom like Louis and the pain is just too deep... What Louis is saying gives me a purpose but it's still too painful... I KNOW what he's feeling... It's indescribable unless you've been through it... It doesn't matter if you're a boy or girl... The pain is excruciatingly the same... It's just that we boys are made to act braver and tougher on the outside and hide it... It's VERY VERY TOUGH TO DO

Two of Us was released March 2019. Louis said he needed to get this song off his chest before moving on to write more music. He also said he had just one chance to get it right. That he did. He hit it out of the ballpark doing his mother, family, friends, fans proud.
Louis learned how to craft a song during One Direction after taking control over the bubblegum pop of the first two of the band’s albums (having the majority of songwriting credits of last 3 of 5 albums). His debut album Walls is reflective, inspirational, uplifting whilst being extremely catchy with an indie-britpop guitar driven sound (Oasis is his favorite and Noel Gallagher has songwriting credits to Walls for 3 chord progressions used - the one and only time Noel has ever consented to!)
Will you please consider reacting to the entire album from start to finish in order it is put together? Please note that song interpretation and relatability is for the listener as Louis wants it to be. His experiences are just a template for his music to be personal to the listener. For example Two of Us was also written expressly to help others going through grief.

This song is such a beautiful tribute and you’re right, it’s a sad song but with such a positive message underneath. I would love if you reacted to more of his solo music, I recommend the song “Walls” which is the one that gives the title to the album and also the songs “Kill My Mind”, “We Made it” and “don’t let it break your heart”. The songs per se have nothing to do with each other but the music videos are connected so you should watch them in that order!

I love Louis' music and his voice. His songs can generally be interpreted in several ways. I really appreciate his songs because I find something in each of them that I can relate to.

it’s such a good song, i love the way he writes lyrics that are really straightforward and accessible and also really meaningful, the line that always sticks out to me is the ‘we’ll end just like we started, you and me and no one else’ cause his mom was a teenager when she had him so it was just them and i guess he was thinking it would be just them again eventually cause he’s the oldest sibling, but then one of his little sisters passed away right after this was released 💔 he’s been through a lot but it’s like you said about the happiness behind this song, he always focuses on being strong and hopeful and i look up to him SO much for that

Lillys mom died from a very aggressive form of cancer at the age of 43 she left seven children Louis was the oldest she died three days before his first solo performance which was on X factor she made him promise to continue on with his music there is a tour of us part two called Richard’s bucket list which is really awesome and it shows you Louise great heart and his beautiful spirit he has definitely made his mom proud and everybody else who knows him as well❤️ he wrote a lot of songs for One Direction he said he couldn’t write any other songs until he got this one done it’s amazing what a wonderful tribute to his mom🙏🤔 I am blind and using a screen reader sometimes it doesn’t say the right things or I can’t catch some of the mistakes because I can’t see them I hope you can understand what I’m trying to say Louis is so inspirational what a great amazing songwriter he is so talented you should react to some more of Lewis songs his album walls and his other solo performances before the album thank you I loved your reaction it was great👩🏻🦯👩🏻🦯👩🏻🦯💗🎧🎤 as well as Niall Horan and Liam Payne‘s solo stuff and of course One Direction that would be great too I think he would find a lot of people would really love that thank you👩🏻🦯🤔😅

Yes Louis is a great writer. The boys wrote most of their songs for the last 3 albums, Louis is one of the ones with the most credits. Have you listened to all of 1D's music or just songs here and there? The boys and their music continued to mature and grow with every album.
