I've heard a lot of people say that the genealogies are the most boring part to read through and I admit it wasn't much easier for me either when I decided to read the Tanakh/Old Testament so I appreciate videos like this one

Honestly the more I read about ancient texts the more I swear that they knew what was going on but they just put it in terms that they understood, like we do today.
that's why it is hard for the ppl of today to accept certain things. They feel if its not delivered to them in their understanding its not real.
It is because God has written the Bible in figurative languages, some of the true meaning of his words won’t be understood by anyone including the prophets who wrote the Bible, and its meaning are sealed until the end times.

@Anonymous I have actually read the Bible in original hebrew. It's pronounced "Itschak" think of the words "it's" and "chuck" in english but remember that "ch" in hebrew is a sound that doesn't exist in english and would be hard for you to pronounce, so Isaac is perfectly fine to use.

You're 100% correct, "Yavan" comes from "Ionia."
Similarly, the Persians referred to Greeks as Yauna, also derived from Ionia (tangentially related fact, they also referred to the people of Macedon as "Yauna Takabara", meaning "Ionians with hats that look like shields", due to them often wearing wide, flat hats that kinda looked like shields)

I've studied the Bible and I can't give you a concrete answer but if I had to make sense of it, I'd explain it as God not necessarily liking the human tradition of giving the inheritance to the first born and instead judging people based on merit and potential, and almost always directing the hand of fate so that the person who he wants or thinks deserves it the most recieves it. The Bible is more like a game of sims than a third person narration. Even if he doesn't directly interfere, which he does a lot, he makes sure he gets what he wanted in the end.

Of course you found a lot of similarities from the bible and the quran, Muhammad traveled extensively studying Judaism and Christianity in order to bring religion, something missing, back to his people. So, his writings (scribes actually wrote) include stories from the Judaism and Christian bibles.

I grew up in a baptist church most of my childhood and i remember learning about Abraham and Sarah as mentioned at 14:00. One of the things i remember learning was thay originally, Abraham's name was something like Abram and Sarah was Sara or Sarai. I dont remember if there were any verses stating this or if it was just a fun fact shared but remembered this and thought that the connection made to Hinduism was awesome
