I saw a special exhibition about Van Gogh's Japanese influenced works at the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam in 2018. I always love to visit that museum, but the special exhibit was exceptionally interesting. Your journals are beautiful and so thoughtfully assembled. Thanks.
Liz, you are also a 'master' when it comes to constructing a journal...no doubt about it. Your attention to detail is amazing and it is evident on every page, of every journal you make. A Van Gogh is on my 'list' of winter projects, along with one hundred other things. We'll see how that goes.

I love Van Gogh. I was fortunate to visit the National Art Gallery in Washington DC a couple years ago and they had an impressionist show. It was truly amazing to view and stand so close to Van Gogh paintings.

I sure loved this.I traveled to Provence some years back and actually visited Arles and St. Remy. The asylum is still there and they still use art therapy to this day. Thanks for sharing these.

Oh these are gorgeous, I took my granddaughter to the Van Gogh Experience in Dallas this past Oct. I want to make her a journal with the tickets and receipts. Will have to get this kit.

Oh, Mrs.C, he has always been one of my favorites. My niece won a world trip many years ago and was to a presentation of his works. She brought me back a cube that opened all these ways and it was his upper body like on your journal inside page with the hat. It has always fascinated me. He certainly left many souvenirs, that’s for sure! Who doesn’t love Monet? These are extraordinary makes by you! I enjoy all your projects and have several of your older papers and lots of words and quotes Ha! Your work is always inspiring. Wonderful share, thank you!

Thank you Teresa. The ink stamps are an older off brand, but you can still find the fabric if you search "paint palette fabric" on Etsy. It is made by Riley Blake and designed by J Wecker Frisch. :-)

These are journals to write in, collect mementos and paper or scraps of keepsakes, to further decorate. :-)

What color/s of thread do you use in your journals?
Usually I use a natural/cream/buff/mushroom threads unless its a Christmas journal or a theme like Van Gogh that gets some extra color. :-)
