Your Scottish Journals are very beautiful . I love that you take us on your creative journey process with your videos. Love all the wonderful information in your journals. Incredible Journals thank you for sharing.
Hello Julie. How are you doing?
Gorgeous journals....i live in Edinburgh......what you described as a cathedral on Princes Street, is actually the Scott Monument. X
Thank you. You have so many beautiful buildings and structures in your city and stunning views of the landscape. :-)
@@MrsCog its so nice to see an image of Edinburgh town...a lot of those buildings just to the left front of the pic are no longer looking like that...the store with the awning was Frasers..a very upmarket store that is now being turned into a hotel i believe. Edinburgh is truly. Beautiful city..shops to one side and gardens to the other with a stunning view of the old town and castle. You must make a trip over...when all of this madness has left xx
We have Highland games here in Culloden Ga. every year. So much fun to go to and watch.

Class and throughly enjoyed every moment.
So very lovely to see a journal of my country. I would say though that Celtic is pronounced "K-eltic", not Seltic and Edinburgh is "Edin-burra", not borro. I would have loved to have seen some bonnie purple heather in there too as it grows all over Scotland. However, I love it! 🏴💙
These are the mist gorgeous, the mist fabulous journals. I live hiw you did your investigation and used all that information in them and the luttle poems. Tfs 👏🏿💖

Beyond Stunning! Now I have 2 favourites: Les Mis and these!!!!
Dear Liz
You have absolutely captured Scotland in these journals. An idea for names could be Iona, Aran and Skye but they're not going to be around long enough for you to name them! Just beautiful. Best wishes from Dumfries and Galloway.
Thank you Anna, hugs! :-)
Absolutely stunning xxx
Beautiful journals Mrs. Cog :) I love all the details. I think you would love a visit to Scotland one day?
Hello starlight. How are you doing?
You had me wowing at the covers but what a beautiful job you've done on these. As a Scot I appreciated every single page. Will certainly purchase from your shop. Thank you so much for sharing. ps Celtic is pronounced Keltic and Walter Scott is Sir he he.
These journals are really beautiful, I would have loved to have one, simply stunning!
I was waiting on Mel Gibson lol. Lovely to see Princess Street, Edinburgh. Does your som in law celebrate Burns Night ? We do love our haggis. Still fighting for our freedom lol. Rangers or Celtic ? Thats the question. When you go by the Barra’s in Glasgow and the Celtic supporters are more than having a bevy in pub. Love your journals Liz. Heaps of love 💖💖💖🤗🤗🤗😘😘
As always, beautiful!🌸🌸
Beautiful gorgeous journals, I hope that one day I will have a journal made by Mrs. Cog's.
All of your creations are stunning and beautifully put together, but this is my very favorite so far. Beautifully done. Barb Pacific NW
Oh Liz these are lovely! Glad you have a nice stash of Scottish digitals now, I will be needing some to tell my father in law's story! P. S it's not surprising that Sting used Walter Scott in his lyrics he was a qualified teacher after all! Lovely find! 😊😘💕💞
These books are stunning. I hope you are able to watch the Men in Kilts show on STARZ. The first one was so good. I think you will like it.
Beautiful as usual, I'm surprised there's no golf or Saint Andrews within the Journal, Scotland is known for the beginning of golf, I play golf for many many years. I have a friend that has been in the US her over 50 years that is from Glasgow... thank you again for such beautiful Journal.
Hello Gwen. How are you doing?
Have you ever thought about doing videos on your greenhouse and other work around the homestead? A lot of people including me are very interested in that stuff also. I garden, quilt, preserve, etc. It would be nice to watch you do these also.
Thanks for asking. For anyone who wants to see more of our little homestead, there is a CZcams playlist here: czcams.com/play/PL8dMaK0RkkBJJOzDKWS17-Tp4wJtRVfYb.html and our cogstead instagram here: instagram.com/cogshomestead/ and I also post frequent wildlife and garden/greenhouse pics on my FB facebook.com/MrsCogDiss :-)
Oh my just stunning!! How do they sell so quickly?? I never see a for sale post 😂🤓
Me neither..... gone already
Every CZcamsr i like, who crafts beautiful journals, never give me a chance to scoup one up! 😔 gone faster than toilet paper. Lol
@@hesaaah3805 I was curious about the prices..... Once I was able to see Pam the Paper OUtpost sell her journals for around 175 dollars
These are gorgeous!! Would you please do a tutorial on the binding method you use in order to allow them to lay flat? thank you
Just Beautiful!
Just gorgeous! I wonder how you part with these masterpieces?
Wow absolutely stunning 😍
Love them, will you be doing Irish ones. .? I have a Scottish terrier and a west highland white terrier they are so naughty but beautiful xx. My husband is Scottish and I am half Irish n half French lol. The whole of Britain is surrounded by water, and the blue and white cross flag of Scotland is incorporated into the Union Jack Flag of Britain
Hello Mrs Cog, I just sat down to have some lunch. I thought let me watch a video while I eat. and you were the first one to pop up. These Journals are simply amazing, just beautiful. I am wondering for one thing..how in the world do you sew those tiny little tags ??? And then where did you find all the wonderful pictures, I just love them. and, lastly; I did think that was lyrics from the Police that sting wrote. did not know it was from a poem. thanks for sharing your beautiful Journals 😍. Diane Minto.
I’m in the middle of starting my Scotland journal. It’s where my daughter and little ones have lived for years and I’ve traveled there many times. The country has my heart and I was thrilled to see all your wonderful digitals honoring this country. How did you manage to get the quotes on the pages? What is your trick? I love all the tags, ribbons ,and fabrics. Gorgeous job as always! I’ve learned so much from you by taking several of your courses. Thank you as always for sharing!! ❤️
Thanks so much for your kind words Judy. To print the quotes on the page I open a new document in Word, turn it landscape orientation and select 2 columns on the page. I then type my quotes and copy/paste B&W illustrations and get everything placed on each page where I want it. I then print on a laser printer using regular copy paper. Laser printers use toner, unlike inkjets that use ink that runs when wet. If you don't have a laser printer, you can always save your Word doc to a memory stick or card and bring to a local print/office store to print on laser for you. When it's printed, I then tea dye the paper. I hope this helps, hugs! :-)
@@MrsCog Thank you for the complete explanation! I will give it a try!
Where do you buy sari silk?
I buy from several Etsy shops www.etsy.com/shop/JuliaLCraft and www.etsy.com/shop/SilkDivine :-)
Hi. I'm not being mean, but I just wanted to tell you that it is pronounced Edinburrow - not Edinburg. Many non Scottish folk have trouble with pronouncing Scottish place names, so please don't feel bad. As a member of the Clan MacDonald of clan Ranald, I don't have too much trouble pronouncing Scottish place names. However, when I do have trouble, I ask an elder how it is pronounced. I loved your Scottish journals!! They are all very beautiful! Whoever bought them is very lucky!! Cheers! ~Janet in Canada
Thank you Janet. My son in law from Glasgow laughs at my pronunciation of Scottish things too, no worries. It's a steep learning curve. ;-)
Uhh, it's me, again. Celtic is pronounced with a hard C, not a soft C. We are "Kelts", not "selts", thank you very much. I cringe whenever anyone miss pronounces the name of my people. Just saying. Cheers! ~Janet in Canada
