Liz such fun journals! Joyce :)
Mrs. Cog - What wonderful garden journals! Your imagination & creativity is always inspiring for me. The last 2 days have been amazing for my heart & creativity. I so enjoyed watch you with your daughter yesterday. It reminded me of time my daughter & I spent together when Harry Potter books were released. Taylor, must have been about 8 at the time & read at an early age but once she began reading Harry Potter - Taylor's reading took by leap's & bounds as did her imagination. We would sit together in the evenings talk about the world of Harry Potter. It was so delightful & fun. Your video brought back treasured memories from long ago. As always I thank you for sharing your incredible creativity & reminding me of the importance of imagination & magic in our lives.
Wow Absolutely love these xx

I just ordered the in and out of the garden book. I want to thank you for bringing it to my attention. It's right up my alley. It's an excellent idea to use a small signature out of it in the journal. I like every single thing you do. 😙
Absolutely stunning! Your work is just beautiful! I wish you took custom orders....uuugh I'd love one for my collection. Your work is meticulous and just so thought out. The details are stunning. Thank you for sharing your ideas!!
Delightful garden companions! My mum needs one of these! She has a very green thumb! And there are sunflowers!
Mrs. Cog, a few weeks ago, I found one of those lovely books and started a journal for myself using the beautiful illustrations! I too, thought it a great find! Your journals are wonderful. Thank you for sharing! Janie
These journals are so, so joyful, colorful, freshly unique. The recipients are sure to be thrilled by them. Cheers, Ardith
These are stunning and the work you have put in these...wow all three are beautifully made. Thanks for sharing!!!👏👏👏
I always love your journals and gardening is special for me.
I only have a very little garden, but I plant every year tomatoes, potatoes and tons of flowers for the bees and other pollinators. Sunflowers, wildflowers, blooming
perennials and herbs. I have some aphids but it doesn't bother me, they are food for lady bugs and wasps and ants. And I also have rain worms and all kinds of bugs. We also have some hornets. I don't use chemicals. What grows, that grows and if not, I don't mind. 😊 Thank you for always sharing your beautiful creations and thoughts and tips 💕
Bringing back great memories, Liz. Bunches of smiles, Carol
Beautiful journals, Liz. They make me want to plant my own food! Or come and live with you! All those delicious freshly grown fruits and veggies and veggie soup, oh my! ❤️ And purple peppers??!! love love love
My word, these are so outstanding and one of my favorite things are all the page tabs of fabric and crocheted trim and all the charms! Each journal having such subtle changes is outstanding! Love each of them. Tyfs these!
I would love to see your whole process from first idea to finished book. I just marvel at all your ideas, information and creativeness. I don’t garden but I feel as if I could now. I have limited computer skills but I want to improve them so I can do more in my journals. I’ve only done 1 and half. I just appreciate so much all that you share with us.
I see that author also has a book on sketches from south of France. It’s probably lovely as well.
Stunning garden journals and I just love how you talk through every page its a beautiful thing. Thank you for so many inspirations, take care.
More beautiful work Mrs. C ! Seems your creativity knows no bounds. Appreciate seeing what you do and realizing all you put into your journals. Thanks for sharing.
These are fabulous Liz...a garden teaches us so much and helps us settle ourselves down...a deeper meaning to 'being down to earth' wouldn't you say??
I love them...... Really enjoy all the information you share with us when you do a flip. I can't wait to get the books x2 I ordered from ebay. Thanks again for keeping your sharing free. For us that want to make a single book for ourselves it really is nice. Have a great summer. Love from southern Minnesota....kathy

just beautiful journals, and I have used this book, I do have some pages left, love it - but I havent been able to find another :(
Just lovely and so creative. You have such talent. I love to listen to you talk about your home and garden. What is the name of the book with nomes you showed?
Thank you Shelby! Gnomes and The Secret Book of Gnomes were written by Wil Huygen and illustrated by Rien Poortvliet. We have found used copies for less than $10 each on Ebay. :-)
These gorgeous journals made my green thumbs happy ☺
But those moon sun charms tho !!! Where did you find them?
Amazing work!
Thank you dear. The charms are from OhioJewelrySupply on Etsy - fabulous price and good service. :-) www.etsy.com/listing/571322749/sun-moon-pendant-silver-celestial
How do you set up your camera for filming? I want to start filming but I want everything to be from overhead or the side. Your filming is quite good.
Thank you. I use something similar to this: amzn.to/3fWIyHD to film with my iphone10. Try searching "phone arm boom" on amazon and you'll see many other choices. :-)
Beautiful journals. Very garden inspiring. Thank you for sharing Sara Midda's books. I looked them up and found Midda is an active author. Does keeping the pages together allow us to use her books? in junk journaling? Thank you.
Thank you. Her books are current and still under copyright. In the USA, "the first sale doctrine" says that a book we physically own may be used/disposed of (page by page or groups of pages into a journal if we wish) any way we want. Copyright doesn't apply here as no copies are being made. :-)
Thank you for explaining this, good to know. I kind of thought that was it. But I didn't quite understand or not understand the laws of copyright. So keeping their work intact is the key. Again thank you for sharing your work and those who inspire you.
Love the garden journals....had to buy the digi's! I am wondering the name of the Gnome books you used, if ya can share what they are....thank you!
Thank you! The gnome books are by the Dutch author Wil Huygen and illustrator Rien Poortvliet. You might be able to find old ones (to shred for journals) on eBay. :-)
Would you consider showing us your personal vegetable garden journal?
Can you give to the name of the GNOME book you mentioned. My granddaughter loves gnomes, I would love to find this book for her. Thank you!!!
Hi, where you sell your journals.? i look at your etsy shop and didn't find them!!!
These are so beautiful!! What kind of printer do you have?
Thank you Senya. I use different printers for different jobs. For color images such as the downloads from my shop and in my courses, I always use an inkjet printer and print them onto bright white card stock 65 lb. (175 gsm). Some crafters prefer photo matte paper. It's really a matter of personal preference. To print quotes and digi stamps onto regular copy paper before I tea dye it, I use a laser printer. Laser printers use toner applied with heat rather than a liquid ink, so it doesn't run when I get the pages wet when tea dyeing them. Here is the link to my blog where I list the types of printers I have and their ink refills. mrscogs.blogspot.com/p/tools-materials.html
@@MrsCog Ok. Thank you so much for your help!!
Beautiful journals Liz. Someone mentioned below that they ordered your journals on eBay? Are you selling them there now? Can you tell me what your new camera equipment is?
Hi Cj, the person referenced ordering the small "In and Out of the Garden" books that I bought on Ebay and took apart to sew into these journals. I am not selling my creations on Ebay. :-) My new camera set up is an iPhone XS which upgraded me from the stone age into the future. I went from a 16GB phone to a 256 GB phone and the camera... It's camera has more pixels than regular iPhoneX and it combines it's regular lens and telephoto lens with new software (for both video and still pics) to give a completely different experience. It has baked my noodle, I am in awe of it... and completely inept at using it... but I shall endure and tackle this too lol. Big hugs! :-)
Mrs Cog yes the picture quality is gorgeous. Yes just about any new phone would send me into the twilight zone. I use to train computer programs and now I have become a mental midget. Might have to look into the that phone, just as a camera. My geek of a girlfriend can figure it out and train the mental midget! Beautiful Journal’s and how I love the Nome’s
Immediately looked up eBay here in Europe. expensive here.
P.s: could you pls do a Video on Copyright ?
Super chouette vos realisation et tros jolie j' aimerais bien que vous fete un video ont puis fait c'est creations car il sont tros belle
Tu es si gentil, merci pour tes gentils mots
curious mrs cog but are the laws pertaining to removing illustrated signatures from another author/artists' own published and created for others and for their profit and then sewing or inserting permanently into homemade journals such as yours, created for others and for your profit....are the laws protecting authors/artists different in each state or country?? And does one journal assembler, need to achieve any official permission from every author artist of every book that you would take into your journals....and if so i wonder if its enforced??hmmm...one last curiosity of mine is are journal assemblers as you , also required to site the authors artists work thats transferred to journals for profit??? So many curiosities... thnx if you or anyone can shed some light on my thoughts! Now im thinkin the author artists of the illustrated signatures could possibly even ask for a percentage of journal assemblers' profits from their sales??? luv n peace 2 u all! -bec.
LOL. First Sale Doctrine.
I'm not sure I could ever cut them out! I'd be copying and printing from printer. Lol...an art coward.
