  • The Milwaukee North Line runs from downtown Chicago to Fox Lake. Metra owns the line the entire way. The line is double track from Chicago to Rondout, where the Metra line splits away from the CP line and continues west to Fox Lake.
Most crossings on the double track mainline have high pitched Siemens E Bells with a few mechanical bells, while the Fox Lake portion of the line is still almost all mechanical bells. I have a feeling CP is responsible for the electronic bells on the mainline.
This video covers my catches along both portions from February and March of 2018.
