I love the dedication to character accuracy in this mod overall. Especially them knowing that Sunstar ultimately has a noble heart that refuses to let himself die without making amends.
This fan game really giving me Kirby vibes. The story started out as you taking part in a Robot Tournament, then ended with you piloting a mecha fighting an eldritch abomination.
That and chapter 13 had a Milky Way Wishes vibe to it. (You only have one weapon from the start and can't get any more through the usual means, yet can get more weapons for keeps with different methods. (Beating the Stardroids, buying them from Auto, etc.))
The way it says “The End” seems to truly imply this is the end of the road...given how many years this took, can’t say I blame them. The thing in Wily’s letter is probably more of a nod than anything else. Still, what a hell of a mark to go out on, man. This has truly been one of the greatest Mega Man projects of all time.
Actually absolutely Correct,it the end of everything and it actually absolutely is true and real! The computer completely exploded destroying EVERY SINGLE THING EVER meaning they can never add anything else to it,it is officially dead!
Though, if you look in the trophies room in Light Labs, there's a single empty space where another trophy would be, next to the MMV chapter trophy. So... i _sort of_ doubt it's over for real? We'll just have to wait and find out, i guess.
You never know. This one seemed very fitting for an "ending," but that darn letter makes Dr. Wily really seem like he wants to pull off the Double Gear System with his whole, "now you will witness my real genius" or something like that. But in the end, I loved this ending.
It's definitive enough for if they're ready to hang up the towel, but open enough if they decide if they want to keep going. I imagine they'll only be able to say for sure once some time has passed since this update, this project has been in the works for 10 years after all.
The design for Evil Robot's final form is so off putting, and I don't mean in a bad way, this was nothing I was used to from this game. It's extremely organic appearance and the fact it can breathe is horrifying. This thing is ALIVE and it still remembers you killed him. YOU destroyed his original body, YOU left his pieces to scatter through space, never to be found. Now that he's taken over the Wily Star itself, you need to stop him from destroying the entire world. And you don't just destroy him for good. You make him regret not staying dead from you pummelling him with Duo Fist. This game is so damn great and it didn't even need any kind of massive budget to do it.
Weirdly... Megaman himself breathes in X7, X8 and & Bass when low HP As does Bass, and later Reploids Always struck me as odd given they clearly don't need to breathe

The player not only beat multiple enemies before this including ballade, punk, and enker together three times, but then was able to move a giant robot with sheer energy and willpower, and then punch a space station that’s bigger than a skyscraper into the sun WITHOUT FUNCTIONING MOTOR SYSTEMS, and survived the trip back to earth.
I just beat the boss earlier and when I realized that I was gonna be playing as an upgraded Gamma, I knew that this was the best final boss in a fangame ever. This game has no right to be as badass as it is and I love it. Rest in peace Sunstar, you lived long enough to die a hero.
@@OlgaG18 You gotta remember that this game starts right after Mega Man 6 before splitting off into it's own timeline from the classic timeline where Maestro is there and in this timeline the Stardroids come much later, right after Mega Man 10.
Just finished this one hell of a ride. When Wily said, "old project", I just said "no way", with thoughts about Gamma grinding my mind, and then they ACTUALLY DO IT. Fighting Gamma made you feel like David and Goliath, but fighting AS Gamma felt like you was the Superman against... eugh, what was this tentacle thingy even? Shoutout to CutmanMike and his team. Even though I wasn't there on this journey from 2010, the initial start, I'm glad to see to what did it lead, and how it turned out. It was awesome, and I hope my own "project" will turn out good too.
How I felt when I realized I would be controlling Gamma. "There are things you can't fight - acts of God. You see a hurricane coming, you get out of the way. But when you're controlling Gamma, suddenly you can finally fight the hurricane. You can win."
Gotta love this finale. Everything that’s been built up since the Mega Man 8 arc, all culminating in one huge final battle. We’ve come a long way from Gamma, haven’t we?

Dr. Light had X's capsule running diagnosis on X to ensure he would not become a threat when someone (see Dr. Cain) releases him. Zero was awakened sometime after the Maverick Hunters were found by Commander Gamma and his subordinates, all of them were slaughtered by Zero upon his reactivation.

How do you top that, trick question YOU CANT Edit: learning that you continue to fight, healing you back from the brink, take less damage, AND boosting your speed makes me wanna download this Edit 2: you know what this fight reminds me of? The fight between tegen toppa gurren laggan and the anti-spiral.

If you're deciding to say "screw it all" press the ~ key and type "god" in the console that appears. You won't be killed by anything. Allowing you to go all ham. This is classified as a "Cheat" but sometimes the struggle is too real you can't be faulted for being given a handicap. People who keep going "git gud" have no empathy. Hopefully this helps. Just be warned if ya get to ECLIPSE. If they hit ya too many times they'll bitch-slap ya away.
The fact that you can't even completely cheese this fight with IDDQD is awesome. If you get hit too much, you get knocked back even with infinite health so you can't just not learn it. Sure, you can still cheese it with the health bar but you still have to dodge his fist attacks and kill the orbs on phase one or they will stop you from attacking him. And on phase 2 with the fast movements, infinite health is so much fun, because it feels so badass to run in and dodge all the punches and if you get hit by the orbs, nothing happens. Only problem with IDDQD in this fight is during the end of phase one where he punches all your health away, you have to temporarily disable the code so he can lower your health, but apart from that, best climax, even with cheats.
We are talking about a dying robot powered by a miniature sun who in spite of losing an all out fight against you rendering his core unstable, possession by darkness incarnate which corrupted his body and damaged it further, and then a pounding followed by a dip into the sun itself which fried an entire space station and the evil possessing him. Still had enough strenght to travel all the way from the Sun to the Earth in a few minutes with its final strenght before his body turned into dust. Something are better left unsaid lol
Why were you shooting the boss? Wily literally said “You can’t damage it by shooting it, you can only punch it, only use the buster to intercept attacks”

We are talking about a dying robot powered by a miniature sun who in spite of losing an all out fight against you rendering his core unstable, possession by darkness incarnate which corrupted his body and damaged it further, and then a pounding followed by a dip into the sun itself which fried an entire space station and the evil possessing him. Still had enough strenght to travel all the way from the Sun to the Earth in a few minutes with its final strenght before his body turned into dust.

@@thebiolibrary5572 if i remember right you need to shoot him because after sometime you will hear a sound and then you can punch him, if you don't do that he will just punch you whenever you get close to him
