I've been following Lizzy's work for years and paid for a year on her Flickr account around 5-6 years ago. Her works was great then and is just breathtaking at this point. I'm definitely hoping for a coffee table book of her images at some point in the future. Great video on her!

Kudos on sharpening your vision and the craft that lets you communicate that to the rest of the viewing public. Elsewhere I have read Skye is often overrun by people with lenses who trample the routes but otherwise contribute little materially to the livelihoods of local people. So you've done well to portray spaces and moments that seem little worse for the wear, and the sustained effort you spend there surely does involve some benefit to the local economy, as well, not to mention the beauty of the place you capture for all of us far away.

How she shots her pictures by far distances like that? Seems like she didn’t use any remote. How the camera can focus exactly on her face?
She might use a remote to trigger the self-timer, and hide the remote in her pocket etc. before the photo is taken.

I was intrigued on how you take your photos. Looked like a cable release on the camera in some shots. Do you use a remote trigger or set the camera on repeat interval shooting?

what was the lens you were using
im just wondering how you get the focus right everytime? when you are alone?
i struggle with this also!
She probably manually focuses beforehand on the rock/spot that she is going to be standing on. Or autofocus through a remote using a pre-selected focus point.
