Sir only talked about West Bengal and strike of advocates but didn't talk about problematic sections in New Criminal laws. Section 69 of BNS 2023, Section 173 of BNSS, etc. where laws are not gender neutral, police has a discretionary a right to NOT write FIR of COGNIZABLE offences which is punishable from 3-7 years. Police can handcuff the accused. Rajdroh of IPC is deleted but same like provision is introduced in BNS. In short there are many basic things which were not dealt correctly and because BJP had complete majority they passed Bills while there was no literal discussion over these new laws.
This video doesnot give complete picture of the new criminal laws. Obviously there are many good provisions in those three Acts but there are many provisions which goes clearly against the SC landmark judgments.
Thanks to the noble lawyers of India. If rules are not convenient then it must be adjourned at once.

These laws should have been published at least 6 months ago, so that the law officials at the lowest level should be able to study in detail , for the benefit of all those are concerned .
