The most interesting thing about the Bigger Bodies to me is that, up to this point, because we've not had a timeline, we've all assumed that the Bigger Bodies happened before the Smiling Critters. It turns out to be the other way around, which is VERY interesting.

I doubt Playtime built Playcare just because of the Bigger Bodies Initiative. All we know as of now is that Harley HAD the Playcare to use for his plans, which may or may not indicate that it was around prior to the BBI. Plus, considering that Eddie is confirmed to have allowed secret construction plans around the factory, it's also not out of the question that Playcare was simply modified in certain areas to better fit the BBI, and most rooms save for the Gas Production Zone were already present like Home Sweet Home and the School.
