Great unboxing, Sir! It's been nice to get some close-ups on those minis, finally getting a first feel on what the game looks like. I'm surprised there aren't any gameplay videos online yet (other than the promotional one that was up long ago). Any chance you'll go for the usual tutorial scenario and give us a treat? 😊
On a separate note, I have an important question about the game. So far, I couldn't tell which expansion "completes" the game, if any. In RE2, we had the B-Files, and in RE3 we had City of Ruin. Both of those kinda completed the whole campaign, right? It gave me the impression of a fully covered playthrough, without some details (enemies and bosses, mainly) which came with other expansions. As the games are quite expensive here (inner taxes pretty much double the price, and salaries are far from ideal) I only bought those expansions, and O was satisfied with the feeling they added to the game, especially in 3, as finishing the game in the Clocktower would have been a pain 😂 So... Which expansion adds that feeling in RE1?? Or is the core game "whole" in itself? I honestly couldn't tell just by looking at the minis in the video. Well, there you go. If you have any idea at all, let me know! I hope I'll be able to get a core set + 1 expansion in the future. Distant future for the time being 😅

Thank you once again for your kind words! We had a feeling that you would enjoy this unboxing 😉 Leanne is literally reading through the rulebook as I type this! It's like you read out minds haha! It won't be until next week as we are heading to London for an event on the weekend and won't be back home until Monday evening. We shall take a look at filming the tutorial scenario and getting it up as soon as we can, then hopefully we will get through some more RE3. We were hoping to complete all of RE3 before RE1 arrived, but alas, wedding planning, work and other life things keep getting in the way 😞 but we shall get there, that we promise you 😀
In regards to your "completion" question, from what I remember about the original RE1 game, it is a straight shot with no scenario A/B (as in RE2) or a "time jump" (as in RE3). From what i've seen in the brief look through the scenario books, it looks like the core game is the "complete" story, from start to finish. However the Bleak Outpost and Into the Darkness expansions to add Yawn, Plant 42 (both of which are integral parts of the story in the original 96 version of the game, I don't remember much about the 2002 remake however) Black Tiger and Nepture as bosses and seperate sections of the Mansion itself, so in a sense, these 2 expansions seem to "complete" the story from start to finish with all bosses and areas intact. I hope that makes sense 😅
We shall be putting out as much as we can as soon as we can for sure! I've had a supreme Itch (you might say i'm feeling Itchy. Tasty.....) to paint some more RE minis, so I think when I have spare time and Leanne is busy, I will be looking to paint more from all 3 games 😁 I really need to get Leanne back to playing RE:0 too! I've always seen the "time jump" as a nice "end of this act" part of the story, kind of like a season ending of a TV show. It sets up the story to continue, but leaves you wanting more as. Naturally in the game we don't have to wait, but I always got that feeling from it.
I hope you manage to get everything you want 😁 and we will be doing full playthroughs too, so we are grateful to have you along for the journey with us!
The engagement happened nearly 3 years ago, before we had the channel, so there wasn't an announcement as it were that we put out. We have mentioned it a handful of times in our WWE/AEW content, but with the board game stuff its more "let's focus on not dying" haha! Thank you for the Kudos, we shall hopefully have something to put up, even if its a slide show of photos in video format 😆 Haha imagine getting everyone to cosplay zombies, and Leanne and I cosplay Leon/Claire or Chris/Jill.....oh we missed a trick on that one haha!
