i prefer it much more than the blue, i think for the plus model pine is the way to go and with the ultra you have to go grey
love the vapor grey exterior - looks fantastic on this car with the black spoiler and skirts
I vote for the white & black, interiors I cannot find any choice that satisfies me.
The black car is on 18" alloys with 225/55R18 tyres (without the wheel trims) - these are standard fit on Core and Plus Standard. I think they're the best looking. Not sure whether I'll run mine with or without the trims - will need to check both options when I get the car.
Can you tell us something about the audio between the Core and Plus editions? How big is the difference in quality?
Haven't experienced the Core stereo. So can't comment about that
Great walk around, love to see the differences in all. Think cloud blue exterior, and pine interior is nicer than I imagined. 🙂
The tailored wool or “mist” on the Canadian configurator is what I chose along with vapor grey ultra and 19 inch wheels. I thought the flax was unique and the best look. Really appreciate your videos as I endure the long wait for the ex30 to arrive in Canada. Currently estimated to be model year 25 in late summer to early fall.

Love your videos on the ex30. Can I ask your opinion on the durability of the tailored wool interior? It’s definitely my favourite but I am concerned about wet jackets and “bobbling “ of the wool. Thanks very much !

The black - I entirely agree with you - all the detailing disappears. However if you want a stealth car it's ideal! I've ordered yellow!
Yeah, it's loosing some character in black. Yellow are awesome, and will probably be a limited option
Thanks for a very good video. Black always looks nice, when it's freshly washed and shiny. Yellow is awesome but would get tired pretty quickly. White has always been a common color. Would choose the blue one.

Enjoyed the video, but I was wondering if the size of the wheels will affect the range. I don't see anything from Volvo saying that it does. Also, I believe it's worth pointing out that the Wool and Breeze interiors will only be available with the Ultra trim, and the Pine will be available with Plus/Ultra. Indigo seems to be the cheapest and will be the only option for the Core trim.
Alloys will definitely impact the range. I've seen estimates to a 30-40km loss when going from 19" to 20" alloys.
Yeah there's definitely some restrictions in interior specs, depending on trim levels. However these may differ from market to market, and most importantly they could change as we now step into MY25 production.
Love this video... Nice to see every exterior/interior in one place! I decided early on that when/if we finally get to order our EX30s in the USA... it will be White/Wool 100%!!

I’m most likely going to order the Cloud Blue with Indigo interior. I do wish it was a little bit bluer, but it is my number 1 pick of this color range. I love my metallic grey C30, but looking forward to a change.
That could also be a great combo. Yeah, also wish it was more Blue
That’s what I ordered. I went for the indigo interior mostly as I think it’s less obvious with stains (I have a dog !)

No, both the Indigo cars are Ultra spec.
I'm not sure if Kristian mentioned it, but Volvo calls the tailored wool interior "Mist". "Tailored wool" is a bit of misnomer as the fabric is 75-80% polyester , which is need needed for durability. Nevertheless, it is a wonderful fabric, what I have in my C40. It's warm in winter, cool in summer, brightens the interior and is very classy.
Yeah, it has different names in different models. But yes. It's a mix of around 30% wool and then rest polyester and recycled PET 👍 Love that interior

I am considering buying an EX30 however now in the UK prices are very similar for one of these and a basically brand new ultimate c40 or an EQC. Appreciate the ex30 is smaller but you get a lot of kit on the other cars and keen to see what you think if you compared all three cars. Thank you
Understand you're looking at other options if the prices are pretty close. Personally I'm not a EQC fan. And of these three I would definitely go for a C40. Much better in all aspects compared to the EX30. Better lights, more space, better range, faster charging, more functionality, separate driver display +++ My choice would 110% be the C40 👍

Living in the US Pacific NW my town has so many gray/silver cars. :-( My current BMW is a wonderful dark red that I have enjoyed. I worry about keeping the white clean but it does look great. A neighbor has a XC40 in white that is beautiful. I have been thinking about the blue but keep coming back to the gray. The particle interior is not for us as well. So will wait till we can see them all at our dealer. Thanks for he tour and enjoyed hearing your opinion on colors.

I'm not LOVING any of the colors, so picking between Yellow-Gray-Cloud White is tricky. And you really like the Crystal White? Hmmm...... thoughts to be thunk.....

Excellent idea. This could get a LOT of views over time but hope they let you retake it once youve worked out that camera. Watching it in fullscreen 4K on a 32" monitor made my eyes water during the handheld parts.
The last part wasn't bad. Stabilised with Catalyst Browse. Doubtful I could do it better. Not a problem with the camera

I went for the Onyx Black. Don't like the "toy car" look that most EV's have, so it looked the most natural to me.
11:05 completely same with Black Polestar 2, all the details and cool shapes are gone with the black painting.
Yeah. That's my main complaint about black cars. Especially if they have some "contrasting" Eksterior elements.

Grey of course. Why pay for paint when this is nice. Moss is nice to look at but to live with, naa.
Spend that money on PPF/wrap.
Same with the interior, the blue is nice and no additional costs 🤪
