Wow. Interesting to see handguards get worn to the point that they are sharp. I agree that handguards are one of the best mods for when your bike falls.

Man you are the WR authority bro! You ride the crap out of that thing. I didn't see a link for the rack. I thought you mentioned even though you fabbed the one you have. As far as the fork bleeders. I think they are a good idea. Especially if you are trailering. When you crank down on the straps, even with a brace, it's good to release the pressure. The pressure will rebuild within a short distance as long as you don't hammer a jump right away. Good info. Thanks for posting!

Thanks for making the video! I just bought a 04 WR450 for $700 need a crank going to make it into a dual sport on the cheap!

As far as bleeders go it depends on how your suspension works for you. I have a WR just like yours and the forks work great without bleeders. Now my KTM with closed chambers WP forks bleeders are a must. They get so stiff and I start deflecting off everything if I don't bleed em every couple hours or so. It really depends on the terrain though. Rocky stuff is every hour but fast single track is once daily if I remember.

a latching relay on your green momentary button will give you the desired result.

+XXHARDLUCKRACINGXX yep .. but still i dont think they are a good idea ! we will see if it works better this way ! the manual for the yamaha doesn't say noting about releasing pressure ever !!!

Does the WR450 have the defect of the clutch arm actuator spring being installed on the bottom of the arm plate? My TW200 and many other TW's had the spring placed on incorrectly. The spring should rest on top of the plate for the clutch to engage fully. Kind of hard to explain but the arm rests outside, above the stator cover on the left side of the bike

    Christopher Walken?

  • @therealturdferguson8355

Do you have that damn lean bogg , dead spot on the low end if you try to throttle very aggressively? I have 09 WR 450 uncorked, jetted and fmf q exhaust and it runs great with that one exception.

Get one of those Moose air fuel mixture screws of ebay for your carby, that fixed mine. You can also get accelerator pump covers for your carby that claim to get rid of the bog but ive never tried those. The mixture screw fixed my bike up all for around $10!
