This kid isn’t normal. It’s not just poor parenting. She needs treatment. And she’s dangerous.
She needs jail time
No she needs help with her mentel health
She is straight up possessed m!
Once they are dangerous REVERSAL IS UNLIKELY
BUT POSSIBLE..
Exactly. It's weird Dr. Phil he'd endear himself to her by saying it was the mother's fault the family was dysfunctional. Instead of being touched by this, she gets offended he's suggesting SHE'S dysfunctional as if there's nothing wrong with her. That's not someone who's hurting and wants to be heard. That's someone who's entitled and likes negative attention.

She’d most likely be put in a juvenile psych ward. Probably the best for her.
Three reasons, in increasing order of importance:
1. She's 14
2. She's a girl
3. She's white
Maybe its considered domestic violence. If she lives in a state where the victim has to press charges instead of automatic arrest, then she gets off.

This will build your people skills and self esteem.
I can't imagine anyone wanting to be a foster parent to that girl.
They couldn't pay me enough to try & deal with this little psycho
I worked in foster care group homes for kids like this-she’d be placed in a group home or high level treatment centers until she was eligible for a “typical” foster home or she’d be placed in a high level home. Both options I don’t see her doing well with. In foster care the kids and/or the parents need to complete multiple steps to reunify. If those don’t happen then they stay in foster care for the most part. They need to see improvement in parents and the child. Both don’t seem like that’s gonna happen unless they want it.
Put her in prison! “Beyond Scared Straight!”
Exactly right. She was behaving that way as early as kindergarten according to the video.

99 percent of these child "problems" are the parent's fault.
NONE of this happens overnight.
If you tolerate it and give in to it at 2 years old, it will continue when they're 3 and when they're 4, and when they're 5 and on and on.
Parents, BE PARENTS !!!!!
I totally agree
Absolutely agree. My now ex-husband and I were married for 27 years and we had five children in 8 years. Our marriage was a little bit different than a lot of them because he wouldn't discipline the children I had to do it and I was strict I started disabling when they were two and he would let them have their own way and I would go back and re discipline them. The youngest was 18 when we got divorced. I don't have a very good relationship with them they strongly dislike me but he's their buddy because when they were growing up he was their friend. I guess I was the monster because I disciplined. I wonder if they'll ever see that I did them a favor and I wasn't being mean. I didn't even have to spank them very often but when I did they knew I meant business. Sometimes I think I shouldn't have disciplined them and they would like me now. Oh well
You need a license for everything except raising a child.
You think that because you don't have a psychopath living in your home. Good parents sometimes get bad kids. And yes, there are bad kids.
@@danadyd59 No, I think that because it's the truth. During the past 50 years, parents have abandoned their JOB of preparing their children to be a positive element and member of society. These kids for the most part as I stated are NOT psychopaths, they are brats who were never disciplined in their early years.
I’m 70 years old and had the best parents anyone could ask for. I was disciplined immediately if I broke the rules . We didn’t push the rules.
I'm 71 and that's how I was brought up too and it worked.
I'm 61 and I have never been beaten by my parents. But time out, no TV or dessert if I misbehaved were the rules. Age 8 I understood that it was better for me to obey, life was so much nicer without the tantrums.
Yeah, notice you said parents.
Both of my grandsons are exhibiting violent behavior. I’ve discussed it with both parents (divorced) and nothing has been done. So I have limited my time with them. Very sad
This mother doesn't treat her daughter like her child, she treats her like a friend, a bad friend! You are her mother, her parent, act like one for heavens sake!
Spoiled!!!
Yes , I definitely heard the mother mocking her daughter, almost trying to mimic her when they were talking about the teacher incident in the home, the mother makes fun of her! Then acts like she cares on Dr Phil show
Mentally disturbed, any?
Where’s the father?!?!?
You are 100% correct. My DIL made this mistake with her two daughters and they both turned just as evil as this brat 😈 👿
Mom never grew up, doesn't have a single clue what mothering or parenting is. Mom has zero self respect & zero boundaries. This is what happens when you act like a babysitter/aunt/friend/instead of a mother/parent. She has destroyed her daughter for lack of wisdom, knowledge, effort- kids aren't born like this, they're made.
Put that little girl in jail for a week... she'll straighten out right quick! Js
This girl needs LOVE. Imagine what she must have gone through to become this person. Children don’t come out of the womb acting like this.
🦚Yes some do. They've been on Dr. Phil's show before.
Dr Phil can't help her. She is far gone and won't" grow out" of anything.. severely mentally disturbed... a danger to society. ...

@@Emmie1223 It’s very true they are not all created equal.
This child clearly has a psychological issue. Four-year-olds do not have that amount of anger. She should have been disciplined consistently AND have been seen by a psychiatrist.
Discipline should have started even before four or five, should have started with the temper tantrums around two or three
Exactly
Kids who’ve been abused do. We don’t know her whole story yet. The intro video said her father was physically abusive to her mom at the EXACT age she started acting up. I don’t think that’s a coincidence.
She already mentioned she saw her Dad ABUSE her mother...verbally and physically. Unfortunately she has learned that she can get what she wants by threatening others.
Kids will not respect a parent if they don't see the other parent showing respect. I know parents nowadays don't/won't spank kids (for whatever reason), however, there is such thing as "non-violent physical intervention."" If my child acted like this girl, she would be restrained every time she got violent. She would definitely NOT have a phone. She would be wearing an orange jumpsuit or fatigues.
Throw her in jail for a week betcha she will think different about her behavior

Great idea. Let's just say that therapists can only do so much. If you have a psychopathic child, therapy only goes so far. DCFS prevents effective parenting. This show is bs.
So....what does a psychopath behave like? She has no empathy., abuses everyone, screams and thinks she is the only person thats important in the world. Threatens to shoot oeople.
we can all see where her Destiny will end up
This child is BEGGING for someone to love her enough to give her boundaries.
Oh she’s so proud of herself….smug grin when he’s reading her two year old temper tantrum.
This kid needs some serious help with her anger management issues before she hurt someone
I think if she doesn't learn respect, then there's someone bigger and badder that will hurt her very badly. She definitely wouldn't have the luxury of having her nails done, make-up, cell phone, or having her hair done for her vile behavior. All that is too late by the mother's part of rewarding her attitude.
I agree. I think she is mentally ill.
This is a spoilt brat who has been given everything, probably to keep the peace. She wants everyone to be afraid of her so she is always in control.A learnt behaviour,,no discipline or consequences in her life from a young age.
Dr Phil sounds tired. Putting up with this brat must be exhausting.
This is not mother's fault. Child has something mentally wrong with her and needs to be on meds before she hurts someone.
Trouble is… getting the “child” to ingest those pills.
@@macaroon2534there is an option I know of getting meds via a IV my mom is a nurse so I know all the options.
At 5 years old when you don't stop crazy behavior yes it only escalates. When you allow it to escalate for years this is what you get. You're not to be your child's friend if you can't love them enough to discipline them! The mother needs to step up. She hasn't for 10 years. Plus she had more kids after being unable to control this one?!
Mother enabled this. Raised her to think that she is the Center of the Universe Giving her everything, with no restraints, requirements or limits on her behavior ever. These are the horrific results
You can never allow the child to be the "boss" ever!! To hit you, bite you, scream at you. How is she getting weed??? Weed makes people moody, defensive, depressed, unmotivated. She argued with mom, and mom is sounding like a defensive teenager. She needs scared straight, and evaluation from a psychotherapist and real consequences like jail to humble her attitude. Was she molested by her abusive dad? It started when she was very young. She is very capable of buying a gun and shooting her teacher and classmates. She has not been taught to respect ANY authority. Extremely bad parenting skills, and she has been getting away with bad behavior for 13 years!! Any surprise she is a loudmouthed disrespectful raving lunatic?
Yep. I agree.
Also her having the trauma of being left alone to be told she be left AGAIN to new parents, even having it happen in the end is awful. I know I’d never act this way but if my family put me somewhere with people I had to be with without knowing I’d be mortified.
Why is a 14 year old wearing makeup, and false nails etc, where is all this money coming from?? She looks more like 18 .
She looks like 18, she acts like a 3 year old! Can't stand this out of control, nut job! She needs a military school for sure!
Mom needs to show her who’s in control. Take away all the clothing, make up and jewelry. See how far she goes.

She's not mental, she's spoiled brat.
Yeah I agree she’s a spoiled brat
The last thing this girl needs is foster care. She needs to be in a hospital/mental institution/rehabilitation center...somewhere that she can get professional emotional therapy, schooling, observation, and nurturing 24 hours a day. She has had this behavior for a lifetime, and Mom and Grandma are not effective, quite possibly even the source of Destoni's problems. She can not be "cured" in just a few days. I have a question as someone who is not a parent. How do you punish a kid that chases people around the house with a knife? Cause that should be a jail sentence.
Think what you name your kids, never met a nice destiny yet
At the end the mother said she is afraid for her younger daughters' safety. Well, no she's not. If she were, she'd have her older daughter out of the house in foster care but quick.
Exactly !! Mother has raised an obnoxious , hateful monster & is now sacrificing her 2 little children by keeping this psycho in the home .. No one is safe in that house as long as that hateful child is living there. Imagine the emotional damage she's already done to those two little girls. Watching her evil behavior & ug;ly looks was disturbing. She truly seems possessed.
You actually can’t just do that. If you could, a lot of parents would. She needs to be in a residential treatment center. She’s a danger to her little sisters, and to pretty much everyone who comes in contact with her.
Why didn’t this child’s mother seek treatment for her child when she was four years old?
You’re right! She probably wishes she did! If your Kindergarten gets suspended they need to speak to someone asap!

Little girl stf down 😂
And this is what happens when you spoil your child and never say no. Wow 😳
This just doesn’t seem like a family issue to me, rather an individual issue. This little girl is entitled, disrespectful, & self centered. Her mother just seems absolutely exhausted, & ready to throw in the towel (I don’t blame her). She’s threatening peoples lives, she clearly needs mental help asap before someone ends up being hurt.
She saw her father hit and punch her mother, this happened when she was 4 so she is emulating her father. Psych doc and lots of therapy.
Exactly. She probably saw that abuse & decided she’d rather be the aggressor than get physically hurt like her mom. I can’t believe no one in her family or on the show have made that connection yet. The fact that her mom didn’t help her process what she witnessed as a kid underscores what a crappy mom she was.
This girl has been failed by her parents but that doesn't excuse her behavior at all. The fact that she can't even hold a conversation in a simple interview without having a violent tantrum. She's frustrating to watch, but she clearly need help. There might be a neurological component to this too.

For me , it s bad parenting. And where’s the dad ?
destoni clearly feels unloved and unwanted and as if she’s the only person looking out for herself (she is). the mother seems to only care about being right and valuing herself over her child and the father is in prison and does not love or want her. at times it seems like her mother doesn’t love her either and quite literally implies to destoni that she doesn’t want her. the mom threatens her with foster care which is doubling down on destoni already having deep abandonment and low self esteem issues. if my dad left me, my mom didn’t seem to love me very much either, and my mom was threatening to put me in foster care when fighting with me, i’d sure as hell feel unwanted too. my guess is that destoni has a combination of or at least one of the following: borderline personality disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, and/or on the spectrum.
This is what happens when you don't correct these kids when they are young.

A big baby
Totally!
YES indeed@!! If I was directing and casting for WILLY WONKA, she would be a shoo-in for Veruca Salt!!. I was wondering who she reminded me of!! Problem is that this is not a play where she's playing a character on stage and goes back to her normal self after the curtain falls when the play ends.
Go ahead and put her in jail.
Indeed. She should be locked up
The amount of times this woman says "right" in this episode could become a very dangerous drinking game 😂
She is ridiculous and does not listen she's too quick to respond "right, right" her mind is already coming up with a way to explain her lack of authority in her own house
Daughter or not, she wouldn't be living in my house where there are small children!
I'm old. We got our butts whooped by anyone in the family who was near if we got too big for our britches. There was 6 of us. Not one of us EVER spoke to an adult the way that child does. Spanking is not abuse snow flakes. A take down by the parents is nothing like a take down by a stranger on the street.
I feel exactly like you. I never disrespected anyone.
This is why gentle parenting isn't effective
Even if your daddy called you sexy, slut, and whore even if you dressed modest, don’t do sex, and don’t mess around with guys. I am childless and I don’t like my body. I am also single. I never slept with a man.
👏 👏 👏 👏
I agree and I understand my parents now that I am older.
WOW, I am only 4 minutes into this, I really hope DR Phil can help her, he has a tough job ahead, but I have faith in him he never gets upset , hope he comes up with a solution
I don’t know why everyone is blaming the child when it’s evident that her PARENTS failed her.
She needs deliverance ✝️
This is girl is out of control she needs to be on Beyond Scared Straight or sent to jail or miltary school.
Absolutely
These shows about these kids drive me nuts.
The parents either act just as bad, or they're wimpy.
This is what children these days are about and this is worst case scenario, if I acted like this as a child, they would have paddled me black and blue, the parents don’t owe them anything but they are programmed to be afraid to reprimand their children, there is no consequences or control anymore
When she isn’t angry she is very well spoken and seems like a sweet girl. I feel bad for her.
WHEN ADULTS IN THE AUDIENCE LAUGH AT HER STUPID BEHAVIOR THIS ENCOURAGES HER, DR PHIL NEEDS TO PREP THE AUDIENCE BEFORE HE INTERVIEWS TO NOT LAUGH AT BAD BEHAVIOR!
Very well said. One can't blame the poor parenting and then allow the audience to behave in exactly the same way.
Phil is a sensationalist. In the guise of "helping" he is actually exacerbating this family's problems by doing it in public the way he is.
This girl is likely demon possessed.
So the audience should be disingenuous like the mother with her innocent act?
Totally agree can’t believe the audience is encouraging her it’s sad . I know it’s not all in the audience
That is right on comment…many times this sort of comment encourages the offender into developing this line of commentary because “… it POPS UP IN MY HEAD!” As Destoni boasts!!
Usually these teens have good hearts and we love em anyway…NOT ALWAYS…this “thing” is downright stupidly rude
