- Here is a video on the worst matchups for Darius. I had a lot of options to pick from but I decided to go for the options that are the most commonly asked for in order to make sure I can help the most people possible. Other suggested matchups were basically more skill matchups than difficult matchups which meant that it would help some but make it difficult for some. Therefore I decided to break down Yorick, Wukong, Volibear and also the Tahm Kench matchups. I also included a section on fighting Vayne which was also a breakdown on fighting ranged toplaners in general.

Yorick tip that you might not know: You can ult out of his W if he's near the edge of the range indicator

If u are in lane and are below 40% hp - you can go Q gromp or krugs coz even if you dont have smite, you can heal from jungle camps.

PLEASE do a video on how to counter Riven and beat her in lane. She's so OP rn and is played a lot.
I read that you can defeat her at the beginning if you knock her down with Q3 with your E and then you can kill her, but I think that a good Riven has no counterplay. I want to know what Rhoku thinks about this matchup.

hey rhoku, in the level one fight with wukong, I noticed wukong has magic resist, ability haste, and legend tenacity runes instead of the standard attack speed, attack damage, armor, and legend alacrity rune. Do you think darius still beats wukong level one if wukong took the runes I listed because his armor should be 42 and his attack speed should be 0.80?
yea. u straight up win unless ur like in the middle of his minions and he has ignite.
worst case scenario you can wait till level 3 because you can guarantee your Qs.

Can you do a full matchup guide for Riven? Heck, I even see you ban her in your streams.
there is not much to say about the matchup. you win lvl 1 with W unless she takes ignite then you lose.
you need to punish her cds, always W her when she goes for shortrades, let her push you in so you can run her down with ghost once she has cds. dont fk up your Qs or you lose trades/all ins, E+Q is very important.
respect her burst at lvl6, she can 80%-0 you when you are not careful enough, always rush armor even doubel armor if nessecary, dont let her snwoball or she 1v9 the game.
also this matchup is heavily dependend on the riven player, if she dont do much mistakes and trade correctly you will never win this lane, riven is also better on sidelane and in teamfights and she scales better too, overall she is way to strong rightnow and needs nerfs in generel but i think her skin sell are very high in silver and gold soo i dont think riot will touch her in the near future...

Can Darius beat ignite wukong level 1 with w start in wukong's minion wave or do you have to make sure to trade with the push advantage?
You gotta kite it man. You win if you kite as u saw in the video. You can't quite win it running into his minions since you also take all of his damage which is bad since he has higher attack speed. Atm it's super sketchy as either can win but after w buffs we win for sure.
Try darius on wild rift would make for an interesting video

revitalize is better. overgrowth is only an option if you have other healers on ur team so they def will get antiheal

Can you do an updated darius mythic item recommendations because lot of darius players now build goredrinker and before it wasn't so good
gore is still not optimal for darius imo, 80% of games triforce is the best other 20% devine might be better, dont build stride or gore both suck for darius.

As a Yorick main i can say that all of this is very true with darius bullying Yorick before 6 but if darius didn't do it well this is fucked cause yorick brain cell go brrr and he just runs on you. Also watch out when you trie to stop yorick from taking jugle camps because he can try to bait you to coming and just cage you while in a bush and you are far from tower (did it many times)
Is anathema a core item on kench since you kept mentioning it? If so, why?
It basically allows him to win 1v1 against virtually any toplaner. And for tahm, if you can get out of Alne super ahead ull be unkillable. You can also point the anathema to the enemy adc later on in the game.
have a question though, if darius is a bad matchup against yorick, is mordekaiser a good against yorick?
no hes not, both champ (morde and yorick) are weak before 6, yorick wins hard with maiden and if morde ults yorick he can simply cage him in and kite the rest of the ult-duration out.
in conclusion: morde would win inside his ult but yorick can safe his cage for morde R to trap him in, yorick wins when morde R is on cd at anytime in the game, also outscales him.

You can't stop darius while ulting. The only things u can do is untargetability like zhonyas or go into Bush so he has no vision of you cuz then he doesn't finish ult. But he still has it as it doesn't go on cooldown if you do those 2.
Rhoku do you take armor rune vs tahm?
I take Mr since Darius can brush off his aa damage. Its the tounge lash that's the annoying bit.

If I show you a match of me beating 1 Yorick. Then you learn to beat that 1 Yorick. In this video I have all the ways you can beat every Yorick. The information is there you just gotta learn it.
