- Hello guys! Here is another video from vacation. This time we got a very sick video. I haven't made a know your enemy in a long time so I've decided to make one and this time we are taking a look at Sett, one of the most requested matchups. I am assuming that you already know what Sett's abilities do and the hyper basics like that before you watch this video, as covering those things would be an inefficient use of time, considering how the video is long enough already. The reason you want to make sure he uses his pull to start the fight is that if he doesn't use it, he can save it for when is W is maxed out. Then he stuns you with his pull so you can't flash and will hit the true damage from his W and that will insta lose you the fight.
He doesn't need to even do that, his passive alone outrades your whole kit.

hi,i started playing darius about a month ago and your videos helped me a lot,i think (if it is possible) that it would be a great idea to makw a video talking briefly about every match up and what to do to outplay the opponent(for example you could categorize some match ups as easy,medium and difficult,again keep doing these kinds of videos,you are a great youtuber
I was thinking about a matchup mega guide for Darius but the thing is, I need footage of every champ and getting all the footage takes such a long time because there are so many matchups. I instead want to create specific matchup guides for specific champs but sometime in the future, I will be making a comprehensive matchup guide where it generally talks about how you should approach certain KINDS of champs and categorizes them into easy medium hard.
I just destroyed a Sett yesterday lmao. Keep up the good vids!

Please do a tryndamere one, i know we must beat him early on but he is so hard, hail of blades and ignite trynda is hard early game. I rush brumble west and tabis still i go even or loose lane.. and he scales so well..
Bramble is useless against trynda. He doesnt heal during the fight and the damage from armor is too low. Get Randuins or deadmans, try to kite out his ulti

You rush tabis against tryn, it reduces his auto attack dmg which is all of his dmg and it lets u kite him out

Ngl the way you explain is on par or even better than Fogged. Detailed, focused, structured. Im sure any toplaner learning wave management will also profit from this stuff, not only DarDar players. Very useful, I don't usually lose the matchup but if they go ignite the first levels can be really hard.
I'd like to know how to beat malphite, I really can't beat that champ, I either stomp him or he makes the game unplayable for me and zones me off CS, it's such an annoying champion.

Rhoku, can you do a video on the fundamentals of laning with Darius? I'm new to laning (jungle main) and am trying to teach myself the important lane concepts such as wave management, cs, trading, etc. but am having issues. It's like LOL laning is a different game from LOL jungling. I picked Darius since he's melee Annie (w mana reset for cs) and have been using your videos as a guide. Thanks!
Darius is in no way melee annie. Melee annie would be garen simplicitywise/braindeadnesswise.
But on the topic of such a video, I make videos on each part of laning individually as the subject is sooo complex. I'd need two hours to get thru everything and it still wouldn't be enough. I'd recommend watching the Informative Commentary series on my channel if you are kinda new to darius but also know how the game works but those videos kinda assume u have a rudementary understanding of the game and if you don't have that then I suggest playing darius top a bit more.
Well, I know it might be weird but my last Darius game matched me against Nasus with Volibear jungle permacamping me. Like no joke. Past lvl 6 Ahri mid came to help them as well. Any tips? XD

For some reason tabis with bone plating did the trick for me. Tried bramble with second wind revitalize against Sett noobie and lost. No joke, went tabi+bp and I smashed Sett otp. Got salty msgs in allchat lol.

for volibear he might take half of ur hp bar at lvl 2 and u might get scared and back off, but trust me, if u ghost u murder him with half hp cuz his autoattacks deal no damage compared to Darius so also using boneplating and starting d shield is a good thing.

@@BodyPartz77 if you're afraid of him clickin W when u ult, use E,R so he cant click on anything while airboned, there is no Bruier beat Darius while 5 stacking, the only two champs i dont like laning against and find it hard to kill them are Irelia and Urgot, thats all. and his W doesnt heal him, only shield, but Mordekaiser get both of shield and heals when he W

@@BodyPartz77 ah ur talking about voli i thought ur talking about sett, voli matchup is simple, take boneplating, and when ever he stun you and land his E, you gonna lose half of your health bar, dont freak out USE UR GHOST AND KILL HIM, after he use Q,E he cant do anything so dont feel afraid to chase him down with half of ur hp, if u freak and run away and let him do that again and again he will kill u.

Sett is my pick when Darius is taken by the enemy because the Darius matchup is pretty simple at my elo.
my question: he can easily outplay our q with his e. And when i started playing against good sett, is what they always did. Engaging with the "e" and o the fast combo, leads to be outplayed by his e most of the time. And after 6th, he can r us for another outplay on our q
You can kite him enough after the basic combo but instead of q just walk back out of range and q to get in range quickly and out. You should be able to graze him with the edge of it easily since he's slowed and u have ghost ms. If you are playing without nimbus, I'd rely on eq combo to guarantee q. He only has the damage to kill you if he stands right in your face, especially level 6. Using ghost correctly makes this free.

The problem is that the sett player knows this so he's always going for the monke auto attack fight
