      @@popovic5463 i think you are misleading the hp meaning, you are talking about 73kw, on a belt grinder? Come on! Sometimes some manufacturers write hp as a name but aren't real horsepower.

    i really like your work. you are a true Pro, Enthusiastic about what you do, and most importantly, do not have a Consumer Brain. i really like the fact that you made the things you need. i see too many people around me that spend a large amounts of cash on bs instruments (in every occupation), and cant do the simplest tasks. wish they learn from you. wish you the best and hope you go forward and up every step of the way

    You are welding with a low amperage. That's why you don't blend in properly with the material.

    My heart broke for you every time that the tile broke wrong. I hate it when all of the prep is done just right and rotten luck ruins all of the hard work. Beautiful work as usual on the platen attachment

      well just use a tile breaker, thats like 30 bucks and will last you a lifetime, or just borrow one from someone that has one.

    I used a piece or porcelain tile as a backer to the backplate on my platen, it’s been on three years and shows no signs of wear.

    The internet is pitching in and sending you a new pair of gloves. ;)
    You can also leave metal in vinegar and reform the rust/mill scale. It takes ~24 hours but you don't have to grind it as much and worry about getting that junk in your lungs.

      Yep. Was going to recommend the same. But I know this gentleman has plenty of experience with rust removal so, it’s his choice. You can get 40% acetic acid and even 45% from Amazon. Environmentally friendly too!
