The First Lady of Haiti was airlifted to the US after the assassination of President Jovenel Moïse.
Martine Moïse was badly injured after gunmen raided their home in Haiti's capital Port-au-Prince. The embattled president of the Caribbean nation was attacked early on Wednesday morning.
A heavy police presence surrounded the presidential residence as his body was removed. Officers announced that they'd found and killed four of the suspects hours after the assassination.

It seems like they were just looking for anyone who spoke English or Spanish. So in reality these could be just scapegoats after the people who carried the murder are gone. How many of the President's security were killed or the President was also living like any common Haitian.
