If only there was a way to run electric busses without expensive batteries 🤔
That would be AMAZING!
👀👀
And without inefficient pneumatic tires...
@@smb6995 and maybe you can make them extra long with multiple articulations...
But how?... 🤔🫣
1:45 nice trolling of modern art :)
Thanks!
I literally laughed out loud! :D
I love these weekly updates! Thank you very much.
Thank you!
So a bus lanes in boston cost 1.5x more than tram lines in zagreb?
Well, it's twice longer but still that's quite expensive as long as the don't have to install the rails and wires.
Boston already has a tram network, but for some inexplicable reason they call it the green metro line.
Europe news: whole new tram lines, automating two whole metro lines, pedestrianizing city centers.
US news: a $44 million bus lane and reverting back to diesel buses.
I hope to find better US news next time :)
@@cityforall nah its not on you, that's just the nature of most transit projects here apart from the really high profile ones.
As for competition among electric bus manufacturers, BYD has a plant in California for producing such... but they are Chinese
You should do a story on the new Casablanca busway and the soon opening of tram lines 3 & 4!😁
But why are you laughing? :)
great video, didn't know of most of these projects!
i have to point out the outro is way too long for retention rate, unless i'm out of date on the algorithm this could be detrimental to how often it appears in recommendations
@@studyrounded are you talking about that drone footage at the end? I just supposed taht it would be nice to show them without distractions. Feel free to skip them :)
@@cityforall nah i don't mind it, it's nice, i'm just viewing from youtube's point of view
yeah please do a vid about the change in Warsaw, it will be huuuge
1:33 Great! More car centric development, just what we needed...
Where car centric?
@@cityforall "Underground parking garage". That's simply car infrastructure: very expensive and energy intense car infrastructure.
@@NeonNion Yes, indeed.
For now, I'm just summarizing the news, so that I can criticize it in a reasonable way, I need to analyze it a little better.
@@cityforall I do get a feeling that you think I'm criticizing the video? If so, that wasn't my intended purpose. The video is good and the way I think it should be.
I'm just expressing my frustration. Doing good (removing parking) somewhere and then doing the very opposite (adding parking) elsewhere negates all good done in the first place.
Though, complaining on the internet probably doesn't help that much to change things.
@@NeonNion Please don't worry, everything is ok. I also got that feeling when I was preparing this video. And it's a good topic to discover deeper in the next videos.
Milwaukee :-)
Pleeeeease can you talk about the intercity train that’ll be built here in Brazil? It’s between São Paulo and Campinas (the train is known as TIC). This week it was done the concession of the project were CRRC and the Grupo Comporte won the contract
