- I proudly present you the Top 10 most beautiful waterfalls of Switzerland: As a landlocked country, there may be no dreamy beaches in Switzerland, but with Alps, this country hosts some of the most beautiful landscapes. Switzerland is often considered the reservoir of Europe, as there are many glaciers from which the rivers originate. Each of them gets fed with water from the many creeks present in the Swiss Alps. The water sometimes has to quite find its way to reach the next larger river, it needs to pass gorges, forests or drops from the rocks down into the valleys. Where can you find the many waterfalls of Switzerland? There are countless of them, plenty in the wonderful Bernese Oberland (Berner Oberland), around lake Brienz, in the many valleys, such as in the Simmental and of course in the Lauterbrunnen valley. In only that valley, there are 72 waterfalls! Among these 72 waterfalls you may find the Staubbach Falls of Lauterbrunnen, which are considered an Instagram wonder of Switzerland. They are one of the most photographed subjects. But there are 71 more waterfalls in the Lauterbrunnen valley to explore: Mürrenbachfalls, Mattenbachfalls, Trümmelbachfalls and many more! Fascinating! Other wonderful waterfalls are scattered all around Switzerland, central Switzerland, canton Uri, Ticino and northern Switzerland, where the world famous Rheinfall (Rhinefalls) are located. So many waterfalls… but among all these hundreds of waterfalls in Switzerland… which ones make it into the Top 10 most beautiful waterfalls of Switzerland? They are all wonderful, but anytime I can hike and enjoy a green valley, Simmental cattle with their bells, church bells in the village and a lovely waterfall--I'm in heaven!

Always love to see the nature of Switzerland. I have a friend from Switzerland (Germany side), he is a photographer. So sometimes he showed me to some of these waterfalls by video cam while he hunting for new pictures. Never get bored even sometimes he showed me the same view, love it! Hey. I really can recommend the Giessbachfalls. It's a very nice and calm place! I am sure you will like it!
Im enthralled with all this beauty and also your effervescent smile! We will be in BO in late September 21-27. We fly overnight to Paris and then take the train to Interlaken to recoup from jet lag. We thought of two nights in Interlaken so we could take the boat trip on Lake Brienz and visit Giessback Falls, lunch at the hotel and perhaps Iselback village. Aso, we'd like to rent bicycles to explore the area as well. Then we thought of spending three days in Wengen or Murren to hike around and visit Shilthorn and Lauterbrunnen and the falls in the valley. From there we thought of taking the Golden Line to Lausanne and visiting the Chillon Castle before we take the train to Paris. I'd love to have any feedback on our proposed itinerary.

Berglistüber and Diesbachfalls are very nearby, if you cross the Klausenpass, you even could include the Stäuber. Otherwise nice is also combining the Giessbach-, Trümmelbach- and Staubbachfalls that are in the same region. Siebenbrunnen and Iffigfalls are both in Lenk :)

Although not as big or powerful as your top 10, the waterfall coming out of St. Beatus cave near Interlaken is certainly worth photographing.

One I'd like to add is schmadribachfalle/holdrifalle in the rear lauterbrunnen valley, you need to hike about 2 hours to actually see the holdrifalle but it's totally worth it.

PS: Wärst du offen für eine CZcamskooperation, falls du mal FPV Drohnenmaterial für deine Videos einsetzen möchtest? Ev würde das dein Publikum interessieren, und mit Kanalnennung ev meinem Kanal weiterhelfen. Umgekehrt könnte es meine 410 Abonnenten auch interessieren, wenn ich mal fremdmaterial einspiele, vermutlich aufgrund meiner geringen Reichweite aber weniger bringt. Ich würde sonst auch mal was speziell anfertigen gehen wenn du mir sagst was du brauchen könntest :-)

Hi Naima. Some of them can be reached by car. Some few only by hike. Giessbach is close to Lauterbrunnen.

Hi Mian. You mean the Staubbachfall? Ya, that Waterfall is amazing! Its really impressive to see it with the village in the foreground. I hope you can visit it some day. The reason why I did not put it at number 1 is because the waterfall is not too powerful in terms of amount of water and theres not much to do besides walking almost behind. The rhinefalls, Trümmelbachfalls or Giessbachfalls offer more.
