Loved this honest review! I have been weary of learning towers, love the idea but already saw in my mind's eye my very active boy pushing it up to the stove while I wasn't looking! Your review gave me good ideas on how to get a tower and still be safe. Thank you!
I love the fact you added the latch so he can’t lift it over my son would definitely learn to do the same so I might consider purchasing it and also adding a latch on myself for extra precaution. Thanks for your honest review !! ☺️

We just bought a Guidecraft Classic Kitchen Helper. For a mom of a two year old with low tone and special needs, I love that it has the tight netted barriers that clip in on the open sides and the non slip bottom to keep him from losing balance and falling. He's much smaller than other toddlers his age, but It brings him right up to the counters and he loves to help out! I also love how it folds for storing away when we need to.
We were contemplating the one you bought for Jace, we LOVE how it turns into a table!! I kinda want to return the guidecraft and get this one instead... It would save us from buying the Flisat table from Ikea that we've been wanting to get him.

We just purchased 2 of the Avenlur Montessori 4 in one Waldorf style stools for our grandsons birthdays. They haven't used them yet but the reviews are very good so we'll see. Thanks for this video.
This is a pretty cool option for smaller spaces, but if you have a larger space, it would be great to give your child his or her own space (like a small table) to use as a countertop. That way they're not having to go up and down each time they want something (utensils, food, etc) to bring to the countertop.

We just bought the kitchen buddy from Walmart and the price is only 37.99. It's actually pretty stable and gets the job done. Our 16 month old LOVES it. It's not as pretty as many others but for us it works fine.
This was one of the first things I put on my baby registry! Thank you!! Obviously the little babe won’t be able to use it for a few years, but hey why not get it as a gift now instead of buying it later 😂

What pads did you use on the bottom so it wouldn't scratch the wood floors? I've purchased a few inexpensive pads that just stick on, for my furniture, but wondering if there is something better for a tower to still be sturdy and glide when needed.

I'm just shopping for one of these for my 19 month old boy. I'm wondering how you are liking the lack of a front foot and back stopper to prevent him from slipping on either side? I guess the chalf board does okay. I am just concerned about my guy who is clumsy

Did anyone else have a mini heart attack when jace put the learning tower back up from the desk position and picturing it falling since he doesn’t know to latch it ?! Omg second latch very much needed!
She added a second latch for that reason she had stated! Smart mama. They definitely need a second latch though.

I just use a step stool. I cannot afford a tower but it works for us so that’s good
Mommy of twins it was to expensive for two of them I found Walmart has a great one called kitchen buddy that is half the price but not made of wood that does the trick

why is this better than just a regular step stool?
We use a regular step stool but if your child is younger they might fall of it very easily. Mine is 2 and doesn’t fall. And if he does it’s not a far drop and he laughs about it
