This was actually filmed before The Pope's Exorcist and when covid happened it got shelved indefinitely. It used to be titled "The Georgetown Project" I'm honestly super excited and intrigued by this one more because the talent behind it is amazing.

When I first read the synopsis and the Exorcist family connection, I had hopes that it would be a somewhat biographical character study of a brilliant but troubled man, but after viewing trailer I'm really disappointed that they have gone the standard possession horror movie route. A missed opportunity.
Director & co-writer Joshua Miller played Homer in "Near Dark". His father played Father Karras in "The Exorcist" & his half brother played Michael in "The Lost Boys". He is definitely going meta and having fun with this concept.
