Hey man, I 100% agree, though im a nobody in the comment section I believe magic should be performed for everybody, thank you for teaching these gems and true noteworthy lessons to help performers be better =)
sure you are nobody, Jason 😏
@@user_bazsi
That comment was written three years ago.
At the time, he really was a nobody. His channel has blown up in the last couple years.
One important addition to this in general is:
"If you are the best in the room, then you are in the wrong room!
Always look for people who are better than you and learn from them!"
That true!
And then there's Now You See Me:
"First rule of magic. Be the smartest person in the room."
@@adityachakravorty7179 well that's for when you are performing magic. When you are performing you need to be the smartest person in the room in terms of the trick you are doing. If you disguise the method and a heckler guesses the wrong method and you can prove them wrong it makes the trick so much better. When they are talking about being good in the terms of learning then you should always be with people smarter than you.
What if the room is Earth?
Hello Elon musk 📞
Alex I'm really impressed that you admitted something and sited it as an example for all of us , so that we don't commit the same mistake... This is a big thing... Keep making videos like this ....
Magician Saransh Das nice comment
@@safedraft1414 Thanks man
About the popularity its true. The ego kind of destroyed my image. But the main purpose of magic is to see their real happiness.
tltr: "show magic to everyone". thanks!
I was JUST about to stop learning and doing magic as I felt like, it doesn't click.... But now I guess I'll start again.
Thanks Alex. Peace ✌️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Where are you now bro? Still grinding? If not that’s ok just wondering
Thank you . lam magician and your videos is very useful
Hi Alex. I felt like this when I was younger. Now that I am older, I feel humbled when someone enjoys an effect I do. Thank you for sharing. 😊😊😊😊
Had the exact opposite problem. Was too eager to show people and they would always bust me or I'd flash, so I stopped out of embarassment. But that was over 15 years ago. I'm back again trying to learn in my late 20s.
Great video, and thank you for being real and sharing your personal journey
One of your best videos ever. Thanks for the push. I have been a closet magician for 10 years. Never performing, lack of confidence. This advice made me realize how much time I have wasted if I don’t get out and share an experience with others.
Hey Alex this video was great I'm loving your doing not only magic tutorials but also these sorts more Magic advice they are great
Thanks man. Great work and great advice as always.
Alex I particularly needed to here this advice so I thank you for it. Personally I went through a stage of not showing Magic to people that I met because I had exactly what you said a bit of an ego (After performing at school for a while). It has only been in recent times due to this pandemic and the use of this platform that I wanted to show people Magic and connect with them due to all of the missed opportunities in the past. Thankfully I am still young so whenever things return to normal I will make sure that I don't waste the opportunities which are presented to me. Again many thanks for the content keep it up!
great perspective. Excellent input as always!
Thanks Alex..We need videos like this
I love these videos of advice for beginners or anyone on the fence about going out and performing. Hearing about guys this good having bad gigs and what not makes it more real for us scared to mess up.
Great advice Alex, thanks for sharing!
I’m on an Alex Pandrea kick. I love all the other magicians; Ramsay, Rise Magic, Spidey, but I find that I relate to Alex the most. His approach to magic and minimalistic style mirrors my own, and that’s what draws me to him the most.
I now I’m on a mission to own as many NOC playing cards as I can. Thanks Alex!
Regards from Spain ! Completely true Alex !!
Simple yet powerful advice.. 👌🏽
Getting very much interested in Ur stuff man.... Love Ur videos Alex
Yepp I stop learning to where to the point I can't show them a trick because I already showed it Thanks for this motivation Alex.
Love the advice Alex!!!! Keep uploading sick vids like these!!!!

This video is very inspirational... Thank you for the advice, I will keep that in mind...
Thank you, Alex
Thank you so much for the advice!
Thanks for the advice Alex. Thanks for everything. Love your content. You inspire me to be a better performer.
Thanks for the advice Alex 👍 I'll try my best to apply it. Think it could definitely grow my self confidence also.
Thanks for the advice, I'll keep that in mind to perform magic and entertain people... But I do get nervous sometimes and my hands will shiver 😂
Man, you actually OPEN my mind with that “stop” thing. Gotta say that I am that kind of guy right now... like “one more trick, one more?” So I guess.. Thank you!
i am braziliam and i love your channel, really u have the best magic channel in the youtube

Man thanks to you after all this achievement you still care for us teach us to grow.. u all are inspiration for us to grow love for magic.. 🔥🔥🔥 ❤️❤️ thanks to you for spending time with us love you ❤️❤️❤️
That was great, Alex. And not just magic - don't be afraid to open a conversation.
I met people who were important to me that way. And like Alex says, if their response is
maybe polite but a bit chilly... Stop, don't force it. The next person may be
way different. Thanks, Alex.
Damn good video. And thank you Alex for being on CZcams. I learned so much from you.
Alex,I'm liking this last videos much more than the techniques videos. I know it might not get as many views as reavealing tricks, but I really appreciate you are doing it anyways. I hope you keep on this way
Real talk all the way through 🔥
Take the advice of this video it could literally change your life. Example: I’ve always done card magic, not so much because I’m a magician, but as a pianist I can’t bare to have my hands idle when I’m waiting for anything, so I always have my deck of cards with me. Any time I’m forced to be idle at a doctors office or restaurant I practice card control. This went on for years and one day in Los Angeles I was at a Denny’s eating breakfast with my right hand and going through all my one handed card controls with the deck in my left hand. Part way through the meal I noticed two men in expensive suites looking at me from a neighboring table. After I paid my check to my surprised they walked right over to my table and introduced themselves as members of the Magic Castle in LA. They handed me a card and told me to come visit. Back in the day the Castle was one of the worlds most exclusive magic clubs. Membership was difficult if not impossible to find and you could not even enter the place as a guest without an invitation. It is probably still true. Needless to say this could have been the opportunity of a lifetime. But, guess what, I got busy with work and other things and their card sat in my wallet for years until I finally moved from LA and I never ended up going. Don’t make this mistake, follow Alex’s advice!
Your videos are so important for everyone. We all love seeing them. If it is possible, could you make a tutorial on the move Clipshift
AWESOME AND VERY IMPORTANT TIP FOR MAGIC
Tht was like the best pep talk i think i can have as a magician👍
I hope everyone watches this
hey Alex! Loved the video!
It's advice that I have really needed, i've been doing magic since 8th grade and had many ups and downs (times where I did not do any magic at all). I graduated college last year and probably haven't done magic for anyone in over a year (I had reasons why I stopped, some was related to how people around me treated me and my magic, which made me feel like not performing).
I moved out recently as well and recently showed my cousins and my uncle magic, and they loved seeing magic again too, and it made me feel excited while performing again too.
Some things I battle with is having a constant thought in the back of my mind of "I think they can see what I am doing", which makes it hard for me when performing, and also responding to questions such as "how do you do it?"
How do you deal with situations or get out of them if people keep on asking for more
Let's say you have done 2 tricks already, and people just want to see more? How do you get out of such situations?
Great advice Alex...
Great advice
Thank u alex really good advice,if u read this pls tell me how to progress step by step in sleight of hand and learning tricks
I love those theory videos 👍🔥
I would love more videos like this.
Yooooo thanks Pandrea great video, this really made me think about when I perform, coz I actually really enjoy it but I never take the opportunity so I appreciate this advice ALOT!
This happen to me too, great video
Wise words I'll be humble to take with me!
Man, you deserve more subs.
This was really inspiring
hey bro....
I'm at your previous stage right now, practicing at home.
So it was good to watch the video, from then on I will also try to show some tricks among friends.
And I would request everyone to inspire me to move forward.
I honestly need to hear this
Great talk
Thank you Alex, I like these real pieces you're giving us these days. Very interesting and it helps in thinking the place magic can have in your lives. I am not confident enough to start performing yet but I'm looking forward to it a little more thanks to you.
Have you started to perform yet?
Holy crap this is actual gold, thanks soo much,I’m serious
Thanks bro😘
This was one of the best videos on card magic that I've seen, Alex.
Just one problem though....7 minutes is way too less. Would love to see more videos of this nature!
Cheers Alex!
thank you
Cool video, nice content bro, love your voice
Hi ALEX! To be honest you are the best magician for me. I like the way how you show the trick. I started to learned magic about 1 years ago and just because i watched your videos. I hope more people will subscribe to your channel. Anyway thanks ALEX for making those beautiful videos. GOD BLESS
You Earned Your 1900th like, btw love your content maannnn
This is really great advice! I'm still young and have become known at my school as the magician and I don't really think I abused it but I think the only people that wanna see tricks now are teachers. 😂😂
Great video of humanity, you're so right. Knowledge grows when it is shared ;)
We love you alex
YES YES YES!
Hey alex when new noc coming out ? Love the channel

@@AlexPandrea I am bro, thanks!
alex make an question and answer video
Live your art; let your art be your life.
my dogs are getting tired of seeing it... and they have no money...LOL
Goo vid Alex thanks for the advice could you do a vid on how to make money as a magician when your a teen
I've been practicing since August, I'm ok but i get real nervous when i performed a couple of tricks, they didn't see the mistakes I made but I would keep myself from performing out of that fear and nervousness. Your lessons are very valuable. Thank you
Dai Vernon told a story about screwing up a trick. He just accepted it and used it to make him better. There will be flashed cards and dropped coins.
It's part of the learning.
@@seanfaherty thank you
Great video Alex. Now, can you explain why my hands shake when I want to show people a trick? I know a lot of magicians experience this. What is the reason for this? Nerves? Perhaps. But is there something else to it? I'd love to know. Thanks.
That is my life so far until 3:54,unbelievable i thought I was the only one
Thanks Alex, really great advice but there's a saying that you shouldn't perform magic to people who enjoy it. Does this contradict with your advice? Also I've heard that you shouldn't perform magic to people as soon as they ask you to (maybe tell "maybe later" or "now it's not the best time" or something along those lines). Do you agree?
Why does this have a dislike it good advice and we all have to learn from others mistake
am not a magicien but i can relate to this
I worked professionally for about 8 years ... then I had a change of heart about the whole thing, and quit. I found myself in a moral dilemma ... I felt like , (and people treated me like), a total *LIAR* .
It was the offstage perception of me, from everyone around me, that caused my shut down .
I have lately come to terms with the *presentation* of Magic being the key to dealing with people's perception of me ... I was the problem ... with my own ego ... and, I just didn't see it back then.
In your area there is lockdow.
Please reply I m from india.
