Next Review is on the BLAST. It has a reversed front swingarm, and has solved the speed wobble problem with superior geometry.
Finally, in the Klima review, we will check out the most portable Nami model, and how it stacks up compared to my Vsett 10+, Mukuta 10+ etc.
Thanks for watching, please let me know what questions you have in the comments.

I went to DC back in May for my 8th grade field trip and one of the main things I was thinking while there was "If I was here on a personal trip I wouldve brought e scooters." It's super cool you got to ride scooters here and hope you make the most of DC as there are lots of cool places to check out. Safe travels.

It's good to see they've addressed the stem breaking issue and some of the high speed stability issues! The Nami is certainly worth consideration, that's for sure. I'd suggest you try out the Inmotion RS as well before purchasing this scooter though, it's pretty damn impressive! The build quality is second to none when you open it up as well.
    Thanks for the review!

@@ScootaGang No doubt they are better, my point is the RS itself is glued to the road even with the stock tires, I assume due to it's lower center of gravity (I prefer the second lowest setting). But yes, the PMT's are better yet.

Did you try the Nami BE 2 before? I just got the Nami and have had no luck getting the suspension where I need it. It is bouncy as hell. I've owned Wolfs, Wepeds, Currus, etc. but the Nami is all over the place with handling. Maybe I should have gone with the RS 😢

I belong to 2 Inmotion FB groups so I read first hand accounts of overheating motors and brake sensor issues on this 1st gen version of the RS. This is the reason why I canceled my pre-order and went with the Nami Burn-E 2 Max. It has already been through its growing pains. I may revisit the RS at some point but I decided that I didn’t want to be the beta tester.
Oh and my Nami has been amazing!!!

    Hi, new to the channel.
I'm shopping for a springtime upgrade of my '23 Apollo Phantom & wanted to hear from you guys & all commentors on the evolution of the Nami Burn-E2 Max.
    ** TLDR below
Quick boring scootering "me" status: I'm in Atlantic Canada so it's gonna be another couple of months before the snow recedes enough to ride. I'm 80% commuting on pavement (often rough), and 20% hard packed trails. No stunting, no skid braking (usually), I'd say I ride in the 30-40mph range most of the time. Grew up riding all kinds of motorcycles, have my MC license. I'm handy, I can service scooters & replace tires, I just installed hydraulic brakes on my Phantom, btu that's the extent. I can't ride in heavy rain (Phantom is IP54), but I want to (min IP55). I want the option to ride comfortably at 45mph consistently. The 10" tubed tires of the Phantom don't feel safe above 35mph.
I'm considering two scooters: the Apollo Pro (v7) and the Burn-E2 Max. The Max costs a lot more so I'm not pitting these two scooters against each other, but I want a scooter that's light & small enough to fold & put in my car. My Phantom's total length is short enough that it sits across the back seat of my Subaru (WRX) with the doors closed & the seats in full upright position. I know the Nami's bigger & I don't mind putting the seats down so it fits in the car. I'm strong-ish so 100lbs is fine. The Pro is IP66 & has 12" tubeless tires (punct resistant) & it's "local" to me so shipping/support/parts are pretty reliable. The regen braking is phenomenal (I have them on my Phantom), but it's the motor braking I like most, the regen doesn't answer any prayers but does actually feed back to the battery enough to warrant the tech. I hear the Burn-E2 Max does motor braking but is regen in its future I wonder..?
    ** TLDR:
For my purposes, the Nami Burn-E2 Max is the best in the world & has been for ~2yrs. With most brands & the industry morphing so quickly, every year you wait, you end up with a better product.
    Finally, my questions:
    1. How have the Burn-E2 and Burn-E2 Max (or whatever names the flagship models were defined with) evolved since their first intro? What's better about a 2024 model, compared to a 2022? Are they different models, or just versions? The BE2Max seems consistent between '22 & '24.
    2. Are Nami vocal about what tech is on the horizon? Better waterproofing, bigger tires, battery & controller improvements? They keeping the same convenient size, or will they be branching off with a top speed prototype with huge footboard & 200lbs, etc?
Basically, what do I have to gain from waiting for the next iteration of the model?

You'd be surprised, there are lots of people that put longer swingarms and then you can fit 13 and 14 inch tires including some 14 inch off road tires. If you want offroad, this might actually be one of the best scooters for that if you swap for bigger tires.

I wanted to travel with my new '23 Apollo Phantom, was flying from Halifax -> Vancouver, not exactly a short flight. Airlines won't allow e-scooters in cargo & I understand why, so I thought about maybe pre-shipping it through FedEx or something. There & back is at least $600 CDN. Almost worth it, but not. They have very few rules in Vancouver people without helmets riding on sidewalks, etc, but rental companies have to follow the rules. As a result, you can't rent anything with enough power to get my fat arse up those hills (190lbs + a backpacker bag of about 30lbs).
Anyone have any shipping experiences they can share?
If I rent a car, for a week, with insurance, it's gonna sting. If I have my scooter, I've got at least 40kms even on very hilly terrain before I'll need a charge. What about renting bigger scooters, kind of like a B&B rental? (cheaper, more casual but not without some industry protection). I actually considered just buying a new one in Vancouver then shipping it home in the same box later. I can't afford to have a scooter on each coast just for a week or so. I'd rent out my Phantom to anyone sober with personal insurance (or for cash if they're cool). Not trying to start a swap startup or anything, just tired of those rentals with no guts.
