A dashcam can safe you tons of money.
True
Love âsafingâ money!
i see what you did
Get ready for 2023 as things are going expensive. Be careful out there
Although you never actually want them to save you a ton of money. I have been running them for about 8 years now and so far they have helped me get an antenna replaced free, and captured a couple of parking lot dings (50/50 so no real savings) and when a truck tapped me on James Dean Highway in August with the temps over a hundred degrees, I said "you put a hole in my bumper....I ain't got for this, your bumper is fine, have a great day". He agreed. That's the advantage of liability only insurance and 20 year old beat up Daewoo. The dash cam just protects me against crash vultures that want to pin something on me, especially drivers that have their lying friends or relatives with them. Ummm, what were we talking about?
âDid I forget to mention his wife was with him?â had me dying laughing.
I know! She had something to say for sure didnt she!?
@@rvsamoeller2004 I got a good laugh out of her reaction. Most appropriate without a confrontation...
@@rvsamoeller2004 My wife unit actually hopped out of the car at the red light to confront the driver of a pickup truck that forced me onto the center island before kerplopping into the turn lane. We both sort of hugged our steering wheels and waited for the blast wave to conclude. I was driving too fast and understood why he pulled out, although he could have been a bet less lackadaisical about it.
Yes I heard her saying the now so sad to hear favorite word.
Me too man. Backed it up to laugh again!
A group of teslas is called a âpack of batteries âđ
đđđđ
đđđđđđđ
I was gonna say battery pack đ
There ya go! And if they're all the Model 3s then that's triple A batteriesđ
a group of teslas is called a pack of energy
When I turned 16 and bought my first car I immediately put a dash cam in. Since then Iâve had 3 accidents all proven to be the other drivers faults. I probably wouldnât be able to get insurance if it werenât for having footage of all these accidents
3 accidents? holy
Three already?! I havenât had three accidents and Iâm 60. You need to drive more defensively.
@@ranlive1 For real. Use your mirrors and check them frequently and you can avoid a lot of stuff. Keep your head on a swivel.
I havenât had one accident (other than one where a tire on a used car blew out and damaged the steering, axel, and ripped out the oil pan), but no one else or any other property was damaged. Tires looked fine initially and had enough tread on them for another 10-15,000 miles, but had dry rot on the inside. Funny cuz I had an appointment to get them checked out and rotated two days later (came free with the tires).
@@ranlive1 it was just dumb luck for me. Got rear ended in a hit and run, had someone turn out in front of me making an unprotected left and then got pit maneuvered in a double turning lane. All dumb luck. Also all within the span of 2 years. Then after all those I was on a tall bus that went onto the parkway with low bridges and sheared the whole roof off the bus. My dad and I were somehow ok but months later hit by a car where the driver accidentally hit the gas in the parking lot pinning his legs against his own car as he was walking around the front of it. Some people just get all luck I guess lol.
Iâve been driving for 7 months and Iâve been in one accident which I got rear ended, Iâm 16 still
Tylerâs save was definitely more driver than tires.
No, it was entirely Electronic Stability Control, then tires. Without ESC he would've been off the road.
Came here to say this!
@@Manakuski it helps but itâs not autonomous driving. you still have to make the correct steering adjustments or can be off the road just as easily as you can be on it still.
Good reaction in swerving to avoid the cart, but too bad not smart enough to pull over and remove it from the road, imagine if a motorcycle hit that!
@@VinnyVinceViper So that he can get hit by another vehicle who didn't see him? You should never stand in the middle of a road at night; just call 911 and let them deal with it.
âWhat a group of teslas call?â
-AAA 32 battery pack
good one lol
AAA Battery Club
that was good XD
Chargers for hire
Group of Teslas = Fire hazard.
Not me thinking the red Mazda actually had Wham Baam plates đđ I was about to ask where to get those đ
To blur his License plate he had an app that can do that
2:30 I understand he was concerned for his child, but he should've (and maybe he did) at least let the police know he had dashcam footage of this accident, and provide a witness statement. Because this is one where the SUV driver can lie and claim the BMW rear ended them instead of what really happened. Smh. This is why we, dashcam owners, have a responsibility to report and or share our dashcam footage to victims, police and insurance companies.
they dont legally have to stop with a id in thr car that was too risky and dangrous
@@NickyD No one said they have to stop, just that the police should have been informed that he had footage/was a witness.
id rather not contact the police
@@aslant9246 why not?
@@NickyD don't recall ever saying they were required to, legally. Maybe make sure you've read the comment thoroughly before then commenting smh. I still stand by my original comment. It's because people won't say something when they see something, even anonymously, that so many get away with the bs they pull. If I were in an accident and wasn't at fault yet the other driver made that claim, having to pay a deductible would bankrupt me, I'd literally lose the roof over my head. And I'd like to think, but don't with how selfish people have become (not all but again too many), that if someone witnessed it or had dashcam footage they would at the very least, AT THE VERY LEAST, submit that footage or statement to the police, even anonymously. And I know I'm not the only one who would be in that situation if those were the circumstances. If we've got footage of something, and you can't stop, at least report it. That's all I'm saying. Because you are and could be helping out the victim in ways you don't know of. And there isn't a state (US only) that I know of where you can't report anonymously......

I would call a group of Teslas a Battery. Groups of cells make a battery, so I think it's an appropriate name!
Came here to just this. Having my mid-morning coffee in South Australia here, love the Wham Baam twins.
So a pack then, right, mate?
I'd call them what other submitters have called them: A fire hazard! đ„
That poor E38, breaks my heart :(
I installed a 4k recording dashcam after watching WhamBam Tesla/Dash Cam videos and its literally saved me over $300 worth of traffic violations. Cops in India tend to stop the last cars crossing the intersections cuz they can easily falsely accuse the driver for running a yellow or a blinking green light, even if the driver crossed legally. Since I've had the footage to show, i always flash my lights right as I cross the intersections to be sure of the timings of the traffic lights and prove them wrong.
One cop even told me that he was surprised to see a dashcam and that too of a really good quality and let me go. The usual fine in my city is worth about $100 and i bought my dashcam for $175.
100% worth every penny, best investment in my car.
(P.S.: I'm a proud Honda owner and can confirm 0 honda-bumps in my 8 years of driving on Indian roads, which honestly is a big deal xD )
..., where are you in India where your average fine is 8000 rupees?!
Here in Bangalore you pay the police man 100-1000 rupees based on the violation and he lets you go
I love a lady that chooses to say Fudge in a real moment of panic!
7:35 that infiniti never lost control đ
the dent in dudes rear bumper tells me the driver is still a novice and shouldn't be playing around other people like that
looks like they were trying to drift, lost control but then managed to regain control
he goes to my school i seen bro causing shenanigans in the parking lot
@@donnguyen8621 Wait really?
In all contexts, a loss of traction represents a loss of control. Drifting is dangerous, and not even the fastest way around a corner. Every professional race car driver knows to keep their corners âneat.â Drifters are not racing, they are playing.
Haha, the truck driver flashed the headlight not to thank Brian, but to commend him- for not being so brave enough to maintain his right of wayđ€Ł
A group of Tesla's are called the "Backup Power Grid".
I love your videos and especially love that you narrate them so I don't have to look away to read the description.
Love it too
7:32 we all know this vq owner didnât break loose by accident đ
You got that right! He had to have turned off the stability control just to do this.
#7 3:35 I grew up in cow-country, and learned to drive using an almost-new Studebaker. Back in those days, this is exactly how passing was done on country roads. You were expected to drift onto the shoulders to allow oncoming traffic to pass. Granted, this situation was incorrect due to the slight hill, and solid yellow line for the trucker.
Most of the roads I grew up around, especially the desert didn't have an emergency lane or even a shoulder and the drop off could be abrupt and so the head on collisions were horrible in those days. Then you had my lunatic dad and his thinking that driving towards the center and forcing the other car to evade was smart. But it worked, he quickly made his intentions clear and the other cars would either duck back in or bail off to the left, I guess they were like....this guy is crazy. Never called him out about that later but when you have a wife and five kids in the car.....play chicken your own dime daddio
where I grew up you and the other driver had to decide on who was passing the other with some others being a horse and buggy driver, that's PA for you.
Flashing his headlights to thank him is probably being generous about his intentions.
Texas? I use to live there and loved that people pull onto and drove the paved shoulders to allow faster traffic to pass them.
@@lindanwfirefighter4973 I have done that a few times, even aggressively when the car behind me was so far advanced that I knew it was lead, follow or get out the way. I got out of the way. What really burns my oil is when you have clear turnouts, signs directing them to use the turnouts, but no....Earls a dipshit. But for passing....no, we already know what happens when drivers evade the same way.
Ouch , Watching that E38 crumple and crash hurt , Such an awesome car , and they are becoming rare these days in good condition .
A lot of people nowadays are getting their license from cereal boxes apparently.
8:00 The wife is screaming but at no point does the driver use his horn.
With the wife screaming that loudly, he doesn't need the horn.
He did use the horn, you just couldn't hear it over his wife's screaming.
9:36 they encountered a âshockâ of Teslas
9:13 I can't wait for wild barrel season. Got my Nikon optics calibrated, and I need to get a half barrel mounted on the wall.
Markham and Calgary represent, two cities I have lived in. Before anybody else gives you grief, the pronunciation of Stouffville is "stove-ill". Thanks for the videos.
I watch EVERY new wham baam video whether Tesla or Dashcam. Love the effort in these videos!
Insurance companies should give you a discount every time you send in a video avoiding an accident through good driving.
And the other driver that broke the law should get a small penalty from their insurance.
And the Honda bump gets me every time đđ
Bro I was looking for this comment đđđ
Love the video! I hope you become the biggest Dashcam channel network on the internet.
"a bolt of teslas" according to google
7:55, I was like âwhat kind of tires sound like that??â Hahaha
I love watching both this and the Teslacam channels (hopefully I can buy a Model Y AWD someday) and I've never felt safer on the road. These $40 gadgets are real life savers!
Awesome driving Tyler. Shows how you have to be paying constant attention especially at night.
The fiddle music, "What do Yu Do w a Drunken Sailor": priceless!
3:40 Hell no! I'd turn right around and find which freight company that driver worked for and report him. That trucker needs to lose his CDL asap!
You have no idea what the situation was.
They probably started the pass in a legal place.. with plenty of ability to get the pass done... then came the hill.. and if they were heavy and the other truck was light.. he gets held up on the hill
Shit happens... sometimes it sucks.. and the situation makes you look bad when you did not intend that to happen.
Should the driver just sit there for hours behind a slower truck for no reason? on a long back country road?
Let me guess you have never driven a truck??
80% of truck car accidents are caused by the car..
Have you never screwed up while driving?? or something unexpected happens?
Should you lose your license? and your livelihood.. FOREVER??
Don't think so..
Shit happens.. move on with life.
@@kens97sto171so, you think the trucker didnât see the hill up ahead? If he canât see that far, thatâs just another reason to lose his CDL.
@@RealBenAnderson
You have no idea what he saw.. from the other side.. or when he started the pass orr what the situation was..
You only are seeing what happened at the very end from the opposite side.
Like I said how about you lose your livelihood forever over a simple mistake that sound fair to you? Probably cuz four wheeler drivers like you think you never screw up. Except 80% of the time you're the cause of the accident.

I don't have a Tesla, but I love watching these videos! It's always a good idea to have a dash cam in your car as they can help police and insurance companies determine who is really at fault.
Good job Tyler! đđżđđżđđż
A group of Teslas is called a nightmare. What a frightening scene. If I saw that many Teslas in one place I'd have PTSD. So many freaky Tesla nuts out there.
Fact: those clips are better quality than expensive Tesla đ€š
As a teenager who got two concussions within 2 days a year ago last december and am still facing problems such as trouble concentrating, headaches, and memory loss. I feel this submitters pain.
*Brian A (clip #7):* If you are reading this, what dash cam are you using? That is some insanely good quality!
It is a Blackvue DR900X-2CH.. however I like the one that Ben has linked in the description. There are some things I am not real super happy with now on the Blackvue.
Also, I lens corrected, color corrected, and perspective corrected the original video, so it looks better now than it did originally đ I do that to all the shots to try to make them nicer to watch
1:55 that was an incredible save.
saved by stability control. dude would have crashed his car otherwise
Yup, a perfect maneuver
For Jessica i was like âthat looks exactly like Colonial Heightsâ until i saw in top right, very exciting to see its where i usually go
I don't live far from there and am there quite frequently lol
What's a group of Tesla's called anyways obviously a coil of teslas
Nice driving, Tyler!
Thank youâ€
A groups of Teslas is called, a 'devastation to the power grid!' You can also call them, 'more pollution than gasoline vehicles!'
I had an experience the other day that I would have sent in if I only had a dash cam. Looks like I know what my next purchase is!
Surely its a "Charge" of Tesla's
Aw, you beat me to it.
"FUDGE!" is now my favorite swear word. (And dessert.)

We use exclusively fan submissions. Most channels go out and find existing clips and get permission to use them; we only use clips that the original owners send us directly, and we donât use them if we can find them anywhere else
This channel is so addictive
I guess I gotta get me a dashcam for Christmas. I told my significant other that I want one, especially since I'm a BIG fan of this channel and your sister channel, Wham Bam Teslacam.
3:50 Come in Driver (trucker) you're in a no passing zone. That 4 wheeler (car) gets a gold star
Darn those wild free range barrels roaming around.
Been watching a lot of these videos the past few days.
About 4 days ago, my friends Theo and Tay as well as my boyfriend, Connor, weâre all in Theoâs car. Theo had a green light when a giant red truck failed to yield at his green light (left turn lane) causing a traumatic head-on collision that flipped the truck and (due to Theoâs small car going under the truck) the entire front of Theoâs car to be smashed.
Remarkably, Theo, Connor, and Tay all left the scene alive. Theo got the worst of the impact and he now uses a wheelchair. Connor is on crutches and Tay was the least injured (they were in the backseat) and only had abrasions from the seatbelt.
Luckily, despite the traumatic experience, they are all being fairly lighthearted and making jokes about the situation. Theo even tied his license plate to the back of his wheelchair because he thought it was funny. Things are still hard to cope with, obviously. They all have PTSD symptoms from the accident. I drove Connor around town today for his birthday (upon his request ofc) and he was extremely tense and gripping the car door (I donât have âoh shitâ roof handles in my car).
I think Iâm watching all of these out of pure anxiety, but after Theoâs wreck and watching all of these videos I have placed an order for a dash cam.
1:49 okay but why did i see the same damn grill when i was driving once.đ also man gets some skills.
What dash cam was that in those night footage ones? That footage was crystal clear! (Minus the one in the median I barely saw that one)
Maybe include that in the banner with the subtitles? That would be cool and then get an affiliate link for the models that do well at night!
Agree what kind of dashcam
My video is the one with come in the street, I have a Garmin dash cam, pretty nifty guy you can grab them from Best Buy
Keep in mind the original footage didnât look anything like this. Color correction helps a huge amount with the night videos
I was almost in a bad car accident two weeks ago. I invested in a front and rear dash cam that night. I'll be ready now. If I ever catch anything on it, I'll send it to you.
I just those "Wild Traffic Barrels!"

5:36 and 6:08 These song parodies are hilarious. Honda Bumped instead of Thunderstruck.đ
I was just rear ended yesterday. My dash cam has proven that I was not at fault. It has already given me a step up. I advise that everyone get the dashcam and the front and rear facing would be the best. Oh and it was a HONDA Bump. But it totaled my car.
i got a dashcam because of ur wham baam teslacam channel! such a great investment!!
My house is actually about a 5 min drive from the intersection where the 1st accident happened, thank goodness no one was hurt, that seemed real bad
2:26 *"iS DAt A Bee Em dUBBoLIuuu UsiN' tUrnINg SiGnAAAAALââââ"*

What a coincidence! The very first clip is literally the same kind of accident that I just witnessed happen in front of my job the other day. Guy failed to yield, making a left turn and turned right into a car going straight. The car going straight got spun around pretty violently. I hope everyone was okay! I don't know about the aftermath
Herd name for a group of Teslas: A Shock.
The clip in colonial heights VA I can say happens nearly every day. People are so impatient on that road
They're impatient for no reason at that. Most of them just cut others off after the turn to get to 95 anyway
A group of Teslas in that size is called âMillion Dollar Clubâ lmao!
What was the 1st clip's dashcam model?
For the first clip I live 30 seconds away from there and even went to the scene
