Why is it so difficult for people to understand that bad weather means you can't drive like you do when it's clear, and dry.
#3 is a great example of accepting responsibility! Wish we had more people doing that 😒
Cammer could of avoided it if he had a bit more awareness
@@letter1014 iii2ojoj
@@letter1014 a m ujuiyku
were all human we will make mistakes
@@letter1014 Agree, that white pickup already had his flasher on and you could see the red pickup speeding up trying to get past him on the right. He could've just let him move to the right and then pass him on the left. IMO they were both at fault.
At 1:05 the F-250 accelerated very quickly and put himself next to the guy hauling the trailer who wasn't expecting that. Yes, the guy should have looked before getting over, but the F-250 driver could have avoided the whole situation to begin with by driving defensively.
I don't understand what the f250 was accelerating for because his lane was ending!
@@zzoinks No it wasn't. Watch til the end of the clip. There is very clearly 2 lanes the entire time.
He had just gotten on the road. He was accelerating to match the speed of traffic.
the guy just merged right into his vehicle, what are you talking about????
he's speeding up to match traffic after merging into a new road
Sometimes when you try to avoid an accident you can crash your car and the fault driver left like he didn't see nothing.
0:00 he really wanted that insurance check tough.
target fixation
Honking instead of swerving #1 mistake
@@killer147896325 funny as fuck that guy was so pissed
The driver of the Sienna tried to pass the Honda before it even left the lane. I wouldn't be surprised if they Sienna was given some fault in his car being messed up.
@@killer147896325 No. What I don't understand why people swerve at the last moment in the name of "avoiding accident." Swerving like that can cause lots of things which are unpredictable. The only right things are holding your steering wheel, doing the brake and praying to the god.
There are tons of examples showing that people screwed themselves up by swerving in a hard way.
Regardless of having winter tires or all wheel drive, you need to drive carefully in the winter, especially on a curve.
8:12, people forget that 4wd just helps to accelerate on slippery ground, but not when trying to stop.
Wait people are dumb enough to think that??????
Or turn
@@quikgt Turning depends, if you compared 4wd to rwd it'd probably turn a little better, but compared to fwd it's probably a bit worse because the two rear wheels are just pushing you forward.
@@rene837 actually no, 4WD or AWD does not provide any more lateral traction or grip. That's all up to the tires. It only provides stability. Bangtrup didn't have proper winter tires installed, he had summer tires or fake winter tires (tires that were marketed as "winter" tires).
@@Manakuski Where did say that it did?
#2 This is why you cross your safety chains and make sure there’s not to much slack. If there’s slack twist the chains, and you cross them which helps if the ball, hitch, or other part fails the trailer won’t sway like it did.
expecting anyone who rents a u-haul trailer to know this, poor summer child.
And not drive over 55 mph because they're not rated for that! Especially if they're empty!
@@nancyoffenhiser4916 I saw one this last week on Route 95 South in Georgia that was doing at least 80. I could see the signs on the wheel covers that say - speed limit 55. I guess it's a suggestion.
Exactly and if it’s the first time look it up on how to correctly hook it up. Majority of people have mini computers in their pockets nowadays aka phones
I had a Uhaul trailer come loose on me once. I rented a Uhaul box truck and a flatbed. The idiots installing the hitchball on the truck never tightened it up. 5 miles down the road, it came undone. Cop wanted to write me a ticket for not installing it correctly. Thankfully all it did was gouge the ground when it came loose and dragged on it's chains, but I had to wait for the uhaul tech to show up with another ball.
I’ve got to say, these folks have some of the best dash cams I’ve ever seen. My cam looks like crap when I view them.
James' reaction is mine as well! That initial reaction is me at my worse. I'll calm down but yeah, if it's something this stupid and blatant, I lost it. LOL
5:40 you didn't have to do my man Liam dirty like that😂
Nobody gonna talk about that chevy going sideways at 3:24 ?
Dash cam is the best investment of your driving life
If you overtake someone on the right, make sure it's safe. The accident where the trailer impacted the left side of the overtaking vehicle was really the guy passing in the right lane. Be safe, don't drive stressed. Take your time. I am an independent insurance damage appraiser and they pretty much all say the same thing, "it was the other guys fault."
What? He wasn't passing. He had just merged onto the road. He was accelerating to the speed of the traffic, like you are supposed to do.
@anonymous1598 This traffic move is often misunderstood. But the law says the car to the left has the right-of-way. For that reason, it has no responsibility to let the merging truck in. The merging truck's responsibility is to yield to the car on the left AND merge in the lane safely.
@@eileenedmonson9485 You need to watch the video again. That's not what happened. It is a two lane road. The vehicle on the right was already fully in their lane AFTER having just merged. The vehicle on the left very clearly exits his lane and attempts to move into the right lane. The vehicle on the left made the unsafe lane change, not the vehicle on the right.
7:24 Another good example of why NOT to just sit in the passing lane even when you're speeding *over 25%* above the speed limit... 🤷
Should of slowed down as well. Massive hazard
Reckless driving charge could have applied if he would’ve rear ended the other car.
6:17 Ahhh yes my video 😂 I really thought those trucks were hilarious. Bit irritating though impeding my view of the road ahead a little
Would you perhaps mean 6:15 ??
@@sheisuturuki I dunno lol, just tried that new feature where it chooses the timestamp of where you are in the video and was on mine when I clicked it. *edit: oof yep you’re right I fixed it.
I would just back way off.

6:00 In the shop for two months waiting on parts? Why? It looks drivable. Just drive it until the parts arrive and then take it in to get fixed. No need to get a rental for that long.
Came here to say this. Don’t drop off a perfectly drivable vehicle or they won’t cover the rental.
And over 6K in damage??? No wonder insurance rates are so high when body shops pad the bill so ridiculously.
Such an intense road rage encounter! It's a reminder to always stay composed
0:42 you can crank on those trailers with a 4ft pipe wrench and it still won't be actually tight. Dunno why they don't use a normal flip lock.
#3, is just me or does it look like the red truck accelerated when the truck with the trailer signaled?
@2:19 now that's "slapstick comedy "😁
Slappy the squirrel’s catchphrase from Animanics.
0:31 James you are an absolute 🔔end for driving into that Honda. Easily avoidable…
I know right. Sure the Honda driver wasn't paying attention at all, but James forgot he has a steering wheel lol.
0:10 bro he was so upset i hope im not the only one who got a chuckle out of his yelling
No he isn't a bellend, the honda was the bellend, they should of yielded to traffic

Respect for the pronaunciation of Škoda
After living and working in Mojave for two decades I recognize a lot of these locations, like the 14 freeway at 2:00. 3:30 is also the 14, man I don't miss that crazy traffic.
There are too many idiots on the roads who think they can drive at normal highway speeds in snowy or wet conditions.
Man screamed ARE YOU F***ING SERIOUS?!? man was fuming
YES!! Thank You Wham Bam for posting my DC video...mine is #7 on the countdown.
3:42 - "Noticed the driver speeding earlier...." And the speeding driver was behind him.
Wham Baam Merry Christmas Man!
As someone who lived in Texas, i can definitively say that there are alot of Bad Drivers in that State! (and Terrible Red Lights that never change too..... No thanks!)
Compensation Competition 🤣🤣🤣
I’ve been watching for months and this is the first time I’ve ever seen a local clip! First clip in Goshen NY!
the last clip: Thats one way to make a U turn!
That U-Haul was off the chain!
8:06 Four-wheel drive and winter tires are no substitute for staying home when the roads are too icy to drive.
First video shows so well why we rag on the horn honking cammers. The reaction to stop controlling the vehicle not only resulted in target fixation, but also a personal injury.
Yeah, Honda was full at fault, but it was bad driving habits by cammer that turned what should have been a near miss into a collision.
I completely agree
So it would’ve been better for the Chevy to possibly understeer as he takes evasive action towards the other driveway and possibly end up in a ditch, where he would be responsible for damages if the other car were to leave the scene untraced? Think just a little before you comment kiddo
@@ramennoodlz It would be better to maintain control of the vehicle and smoothly evade and cause had a dashcam if something more did happen and then not end up with a broken wrist by having hand over the airbag.
You would run head on into another car vs avoiding and risk permanent injury or death because 'other person might run so gotta make sure they are found at fault'.
Think before you post kiddo. Wouldnt have been in a ditch. Is driver skill this bad in this day in age that a controlled swerve over half a meter is imminent death?
@@ramennoodlz It would have been even better would have been if the cammer simply broke even slightly. The Chevy had a good few seconds to take in his surroundings and act accordingly. Did he act within a reasonable amount of time? Yes. Was the act he chose to hit the horn instead of braking? Also yes. He definitely had other options and chose the one that put himself and others in more danger at the expense of being "in the right."
Omg I’m with my little cousins they love this stuff u never let us down ty
#12 That section of Rt 3 in Nashua NH is a nightmare. There's accidents from Exit 4 all the way to Exit 12 very frequently. Something happens in that stretch on an almost daily occurrence.
Wham Baam Dashcam upload hypeee
If you are going to stop and help at an accident, drive beyond the accident to pull over. That way you will not put yourself and your car in jeopardy by other drivers not paying attention. And if the hiway patrol shuts down the road you will be able to go on your way without having to wait until the road reopens.
That's the law in Houston, Texas, it's called "safe clear"
@@HotWheelsBurban thank you. It is a sensible law.
Love you all . And Merry Christmas 🎄
5:15 no, that’s just a typical Tesla driver who thinks they are better than everyone and that they don’t have to follow the rules.
0:21 -- This is *exactly* why the horn button should *not* be on the steering wheel.
6:38 and the truck infront of her forgot to change his mirrors because they look like towing mirrors as they stick out very far.
I’ve been watching wham baam dash can and teslacam so much that I’m gonna put my plate as “ wham baam”
5:08 that looks like my dads van. Also love watching your videos man. I love how the car crash happened because there so entertaining. Keep it up!
Wham Baam Do an Aussie Special man! Nice vids too😄
6:07 bro doesn’t need a rental car for that. Just drive it around until the parts come in
Lots of east coast cities are super confusing. That's what happens when you build a city for horses and then import way too many cars.
First one, I had a similar reaction to some chick that rear ended me when I slowed down seeing pylons on the side of the road. When I got out I saw her on her phone and she was tailgating me the entire time and yeah.
Did you find it odd that the Honda driver was cited for "failure to use turn signals"? How about failure to yield to oncoming traffic or careless driving?
the first one the guy could have swerved lmao
2nd clip, welll somebody's not getting their deposit back!
That last clip reminded me of how I left my neighbor's driveway yesterday on my way to work, I was dropping off his mail as we have a lot of mail theft so we collect it for each other. I was backing up to turn around and stopped on the half of his driveway that was covered in a sheet of ice, my car immediately lost traction and spun around in a 3/4 J turn to almost perfectly be in position to leave his drive. I wasn't too worried about damaging my car because his driveway was long and wide and he parks his cars in the garage. It was kinda fun actually!
8:50 David A could have avoided that by A) not tailgating the vehicle ahead and B) letting the car in. Why do some people value priority over an undamaged car?
Why do people in the wrong ( who thought he had r.o.w ) insist on bullying their way in and damaging their and another's vehicle? Especially when the cammer said there was no one behind him.
Merge in turn seems alien in USA.
@@shaunp9592 Like they always say, two wrongs don't make a right. Camera car could have slowed down and let them in even if it seems they are bullying their way through. Better to have non-events than being adamant to be in the right.
David for sure swerved into the Toyota to make sure there was an impact.
@@sheep5403 Much better if the truck didn't do it in the first place. Everyone needs to get over this "me first" mentality, the truck was BEHIND the cammer. He forced the 2 wrongs BS, no need for that saying if people had some common sense.
#13 is stupidly familiar to me. Never thought I'd see my town, state, or place of work in any of these 🤣
7:10 I live near orlando, and I'm a CDL driver that drives local. It is really bad at that area of orlando, whether its an accident or not. And drivers cut across the grass in that section all of the time.
Merry christmas yall
@6:00 Never agree to a settlement with an insurance company until you know they will cover everything. That is when you file a lawsuit against the driver of the truck and the insurance company for ALL expenses.
I often go through the intersection from #6. Although I’ve never seen a driver make a mistake there, an accident like this was inevitable… drivers need to look at the signs and road markings. It’s not that hard.
I LOVE WHAM BAAM HI BEN
0:10 was HILARIOPUS
Nice made it just in time
I'm glad "Rolling Coal" is illegal now in Washington State. For a while it was so bad that someone would blast all that smoke out in an intersection and not only choke out everyone wanting to breathe, but it would smoke out the intersection so bad that nobody could see.
5:09 Tesla must be in self driving mode 😂😂😂
Edit time stamp
LoL
#19 I understand that it was on the truck to yield at the merge and the cammer has r.o.w., but given how apparent their insistence was on forcing their way in would it not have been easier for everyone involved to just let up in the gas for a moment? Was dealing with insurance and police worth it?
EGO > Common Sense
a lot of dead people had the right of way
Isn't this a zipper merge? And the beginning of the clip cammer is tailgating so close to the person in front I thought they were being towed for a second. I mean geez, cammer couldn't be bothered to just let the idiot over so they stood their ground, now they both are on the side of the road...
I would of been more aggressive if I was James tbh, honest road rage
#1, that was a "failure to yield"
If the Honda signaled or not, it's still called failure to yield.
*me looks at title
-Wow, now that’s a mega Hondabump, I guess 😂
That's first accident, I thought that area looked familiar! That's where I went to Career and Technical school in NY. 8yrs ago!
Compensation competition lol
Brakes are always more effective at stopping than horns are.
8:50 It can be argued that David was driving aggressively and was partially at fault, maybe completely at fault because he had the last clear chance to avoid the collision.
Your final comment from Clip 13 made me Snort with Laughter
Number 12 was from where I live, like the next exit away from me
That last slide was way too familiar. My relatives had an accident just like it.
They too were lucky the roads were not busy. There had been gaps between the vehicles going the opposite direction and they ended up facing that direction after sliding.
Scared the hell Outta them.
The Durango was in the shop two months waiting for parts? with that damage I would've just told them to call me when the parts arrive. Car seemed driveable still
I'm surprised nothing in #3 fell out of the trailer, that thing got some serious airtime
0:10 Ben was so upset lol
Thanks to higher cars on the road, Driver's Ed courses being cut from schools, and cars being safer to allow people to walk away from crashes they'd have died in years ago, we're seeing more and more accidents on the road today. I can't get over just how many idiots I come across now. When I began driving in the 80's cars didn't have airbags standard (unless they were some luxury models), they had speedometers that stopped at 85 mph. The speed limit nationwide was 55 mph for the interstate, and only about 150 million drivers in total. Today there's about 250 million drivers, airbags standard on everything, speed limits as high as 85 mph, 4 bangers that now top out at about 150+ mph, all on the same roads from 40 years ago. It's just a matter of numbers, you put them all together, and you're going to see far more accidents today than in years past. Just bound to happen. That's why you've got to always, always, always, always, and always watch everything, because 99% of drivers out there are trying to get you into an accident, and it's your job to prevent them from getting you into an accident. I've prevented hundreds of accidents the last 35 years (more recently obviously) just by watching, because they won't watch out for you, so you've got to watch out for them!
Yea, going on your phone is 6 times as dangerous as driving under the influence. That's why New Mexico takes your driver's license away for 10 years for the first offense of being on your phone while driving and if you have a second offense, your license is taken away for life.
Merry Christmas
Yes, James. They were serious.
Jeremy should have expected stupidity from someone cutting across the grass.
what the?! most of these incidents involve Hondas. Never buying a Honda thanks to wham baam

4:29 thats why you keep your distance.
Hi I'm you big fan!!
#19 , I find it convenient that David didn't include the actual merging part...
Hard to establish who the real dick in the scenario is.
5:27 That’s why you don’t brake.
8:49 Yeah, I've met a person like this. She claimed up and down that it's the people already on the highway who have to yield to entering traffic. Then she tried to throw around "My uncle is a highway patrolman!" Nobody bought her crap. Either this uncle was _not_ a highway patrolman, or if he _was,_ he's terrible at his job. I wonder how many car accidents she's been involved in.
It’s the same here in New Zealand anyone entering the motorway, (highway) in the us. Has to give way to anyone already on the motorway. Even our police website explains how to enter The motorway. Entering the motorway like a zip. Wouldn’t it say on your road code how to merge on the highway. I don’t know how that guy, got his license, if he doesn’t know how merging works.
@@yoregano With that type, of merging If you are in a lane that has ended, you merge in behind. The guy in the pick up truck doesn’t seem to know that’s how it works. People like that need to resit their licence and Study the road code again.
Unless it's a zipper merge
