I bought one from Amazon but with better specs. The seller was Sinbun and I’m very happy with it. Like a beginner gaming pc for me to learn and upgrade parts eventually. A lot of people comparing this to a laptop without the screen but I’ve got it hooked up to my TV, playing WoW, BF2042, Hellblade2, emulations, halo infinite, CZcams… it’s tiny, loud, powerful, and It’s capable of so much more than I’ll ever put it through. It only has one rgb light so it’s not cringe looking and I’m sure you can just unplug it and it’ll look even more modest.
Better specs than this ... nice 👌

So what I try'd getting those USB to HUB converters. And I manage to get a monitor working and use extra USB. Main problem is triple nvidia surround doesn't work.

At this point everything was Emulated on Windows 11.
Using different dedicated emulators for testing.
Did not use RetorArch at al. 😄

It's cooll but for the i7 version with 16 Gb Ram and 1 Tb SSD you are paying 400 euro more for this than a Xbox Series X. That maybe not that flexible, but prices these days of capable miniPCs are horrible.

Yesterday (unfortunately i cant find it now) I saw somewhere a RK3588 based Android 12 TV Box (With 8 Gb) for under 200 euro. That kind of product could shake the market considerably :)
(Edit : on Dutch Ali : H96 Max V58 8k for 177 euro. I hope it isnt locked like the ShieldTV so it can boot a different OS easily)
Oh I dunno. I got an elite desk g2 with an i5 6600u in the UK for just £120 on Amazon, and that runs ps2 and Xbox full speed using batocera

@@erikkarsies4851 Intel HD 530, and actually...yes. I've been playing a mech arena game called Phantom Crash and it plays pretty good.
The Elitedesk G2 is a compact computer, and there's no space for any seperate GPU. Of course, I'm not running windows, so there's more performance to squeeze out. Only up to Xbox and PS2 tho, Xbox 360 is out of the question

Hey, I think it's time to make a MEGA beginner tutorials regarding this.
There is so much to talk about and no idea where to start.
In short:
- PC Games you download with steam and old stuff with GOG - Good old Games
- Emulation can be done by emulators in windows
- Batocera linux based software for a all in one solution (dual boot solution)

For the i9 version you can probably buy 3 new Xbox series x for the price. It doesn't seem to be available. A PC is a lot more flexible though even compared to a Xbox series X in dev mode

They want to much money for this device it performs well but damn that extra $400 for that I-9 really if Microsoft wasn't acting so stupid about emulation on their devices hell the series s was an excellent device for the money Wicked did an ETA prime moment 😂

Nope... you need to buy Dev mode... and setup retro arch.
