The song, which is first sung in episode 3 of the first season, is presented as in "Asgardian", but the language used is plain and simple Norwegian (though the accent is not the neatest).
Song written by Erlend O. Nødtvedt and Benedicte Maurseth.

Truly is wonderful. It's a different type of development than OG Loki got, but still development. OG Loki loved his family, and this Loki learns to love someone as a friend and to fall in love. And though Sylvie is a different person than him, not related and only the same in role assigned, she's still like him enough that she helps him come to terms with who he used to be. To accept his past and to accept and love himself. It's unfortunate that there are people who misinterpret it. It's such a wonderful show.

They very clearly aren't the same person. Because they were born two different genders, their DNA is not the same, and on top of that they have two separate consciousness and somewhat different personalities. I would argue that even Infinity War Loki is technically a different person from this Loki because of the separate consciousness thing. It's almost like identical twins; they may be genetically identical, but they are two different people with two different souls. Loki and Sylvie would be more like fraternal twins, who are no different than regular siblings born at the same time. Unlike most siblings though, they were born in different universes, but got named the same thing and filled almost the same role in their respective histories.
However, unless Sylvie's birth parents are somehow different than Loki's I still don't ship it, because that would make them still genetically the same as siblings, even if they aren't the same person. I get the feeling they will probably address this and say that her biological parents really were different than his so they aren't related, because if they don't, it will get really weird really fast.

The series very successfully captures the essence of Loki's character, better than any of the movies, obviously. Moments like these show that Loki is not very different from normal people: he likes to have fun and make friends, while valuing his personal space. He is lovable and in search of love. The limited vocabulary of human languages makes it difficult to elaborate on the matter but I will say this: Loki is one of the greatest characters to have ever been created, made all the better by the marvellous Tom Hiddleston.

"on the mountains darkened by the storm, I walk alone"
English teachers: could be referring to himself walking through difficult times on his own
Breakdown CZcamsrs: this is a clear foreshadowing of himself being alone after the final episode and facing the literal dark cloud, Mephisto confirmed?
Loki: I was drunk and wanted to see if she understood my language

Now I know it was in fact romantic, it's really quite romantic; Sylvie's the only one in that train who can understand what he's singing, as a fellow Asgardian (well, raised in Asgard). Although the homecoming theme of the song has to sting for her.
