- this is a bit late but i FINALLY found time to edit loki's show! i absolutely loved it and it was really fun going back through all the episodes to pull these moments. this is going to be my last upload for a while because i'm moving away next week and my life will be a bit too chaotic to keep up with uploading on here for a month or two! i will continue regularly making videos on my second channel though so feel free to subscribe below!

That's really the thing. He's jealous of his brother with the adoration he gets but he is Thor's best friend and vice versa.
Loki is as a child as Thor is. Just that he never got the freedom and love to be carefree as Thor got. He was pushed into a impossible competition from very young age.

(The way the saga tells it, sounds like he found the experience pretty fun.) Clearly the ancient Norse were cultured enough peeps to appreciate the Power Perversion Potential of shapeshifting abilities... ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

my favorite scene in the entire series
Loki literally just needed someone to give him some positive reinforcement for good behavior and he stopped wreaking havoc on everyone around him. Makes you wonder how everyone is Asgard must have treated him for centuries for him to be as insecure and chaotic as he is.
You see some of it throughout the movies. Just look at the scene when they are going to Jotunheim. They are crossing the bridge. Loki tries to talk his way past Heimdall who is having none of it. Thor shuts him down and takes over. When they continue on he looks dejected, Volstagg mocks him and the three laugh. I'm sure much of his life has been like that.
Considering the events of the first Thor film AND how he's treated in the rest of the MCU films he appears in? Quite possibly he got substandard, or even awful treatment compared to Thor. He clearly didn't grow up with the benefit of a loyal, affectionate support system and good friends like Thor (in fact I think his only real positive relationship until he met Mobius was Frigga, and sadly we all know what happened to her). No wonder he got sick of things.
Damn. That's sad, and makes me appreciate Mobius even more.
In Ragnarok, Thor offers him a scrap of affection and that's enough to convince him to destroy their entire homeworld. Because that's how much Loki wants to be loved.

The funniest part about this series is how these lokis are betraying each other. Also, props to the kid loki, classic loki, and alligator loki for trying to be better.

Loki was being a spoiled, big ego god in the first episode and when he meets all his variants 5 episodes later, he became the most mature one of all of them and is completely done by his bullcraps.

I will forever appreciate the loki shows place in the MCU for not only making the entire franchise exciting again. But finallllllyyyyyy fleshing out a character the way I’ve wanted to see, the whole show just felt like a big character study with variations on the character being thrown at us constantly.

I've noticed and I can't believe I didn't notice it sooner that the more we see Loki the less he's holding on to his Asgardian ways because he's been exposed to Earth and the language here and the cultures here and I love it and I didn't realize it before and I'm so stupid for not noticing it.
Thor also becomes more Midgardian through the movies…I think it’s a great touch.
I love it whenever a character meets alternate/past/future versions of themselves but they can't stand themselves because of how they act whether it was how they use to be or what they became.
I still laugh many times at that salad explanation about Apocalypse.
