Your are the only person who goes such deep..! And you help me every time thanks a lot bro.. The information regarding lighting outdoor with power generator is just 😍😍😍😍😍
Thanks man. These videos are exhausting. It’s the same amount of work of filming AND editing a wedding. This one took 3 FULL days. I appreciate it. That’s why I do it because of viewers like you! ♥️
Thanks for responding man ! ❤️ Even I do Edits, While wedding edit leisure's I go through your videos which clear every doubt in my mind. I know man you are more investing youself into this interests. You should shine for your energy. Am from India, After watching video I share your videos in our fellow film making groups. 😀
Its interesting that different colors consume different amounts of power? Is that because it takes diff amounts of power for each of the 3 LED diodes to create a certain color? Outstanding deep dive!
Thanks! Not sure if you know, but I’m usually the first CZcamsr to get ALL the latest products from Godox, sometimes even before they are released. If you are into Godox products and want a TON of details in a review / workshop, this is the channel to sub to.
Thanks man. I’m reviewing the SZ200Bi next, this week! Arrives here tomorrow! The SZ200Bi for having an extra 50 watts will give you the extra power you need when using with big soft boxes while you can use the SZ150R for anything else as far as background, fill, etc. stay tuned. I review things very fast. 🙂
Sorry I didn’t see the rest of your question as you edited it. Between the VL-150 and the SZ150R, I haven’t done any comparison on that and I would GUESS it will be a little less or tested output on daylight mode since it has to share the space with the RGBs and warm CCTs. The VL-150 is a full daylight COB. But for most applications, the SZ150R has plenty of power for your key light.
Thank you for your useful and very informative video. Mainly I wanted to use it for background light without using gel front of normal light and also projecting gobo to make some textures on background, but unfortunately as I see, it’s not very powerful as I was expecting specially when I set it on RGB colours, brightness power is falling more that 50% of 150w! Therefore still the result of using normal gel front of normal Godox 60w is much better and clearer. Also for projecting gobo. I am very disappointed. Please advise if I miss anything to keep and use it in proper way.
Thanks for watching my video. I’m not sure if you saw my power consumption test in the video, but, RGBs are always less powerful on every light I’ve seen. Also, the COB chip, for being shared space with CCT and RGB LEDs. 1- the same happens with my GVM 150S RGB COB light in brightness comparison. 2- I think this will answer you question even better… I tried to shine RGB against a while wall in a very bright commercial building with a sky roof on the 4th floor. I was using magenta, one of the strongest colors at 100% and with the reflector. It didn’t do much. With these lights, you have to get the lights a little closer and it’s more favorable if the ambient is darker. For COLOR background lighting, I use DJ RGB lights. The beam is very strong and they cost almost nothing. Here’s the link for you to check it out. And if I doesn’t work for you either, you can always return it on Amazon. friend your channel is a gem... but what do you think today?) for someone who needs bunch of 300 / 200 lights for studio... what to buy to use with app? had VL300 + double VL200 (previously) did you see Litemons from Godox, what do you think? actually breaking my head where to invest... Litemons, SZ, M... too hard, but want Godox Light App control, which VL's doesnt have
I never use these Apps. When on a real set, I don’t even remember these things have an App. I think the VL 300s that you had is excellent. My opinion: I wouldn’t try to same money on 300 watt lights. Get the best you can afford. The Litemons, I didn’t have the chance to test.
Hello thank you for the review. I have bought this light but I am having some issues with it: 1. When set to let say 5500 K with no color corection and I go with the DIM from 0 to 100%, at about 60% the light changes color and also its intencity. What I mean it will give a considerable less light then at 30% DIM. I don't understand why this is happening. I thought it should keep the same color as long as the 5500K remains contant and also the RGB. 2. At about 70% DIM it starts doing an electricity sound like discharging electricity. This does not happen all the time and does not happen for lower DIM 30% lets say. I don't understand why, it is an anoying sound, realy loud and is not the fan, the fan is preaty silent as you said. Please let me know what you think could be the issues. I love the work you are doing. Thank you, Bea
Great review thank you. May i ask , do you know how long can the power generator that you have last ( using 100% on 5600k ) am using it outdoor a lot. Thank you so much
Of course. Every electronic component runs on DC. The same goes for the included power supply. Now, if you attempt using anything other than the included power supply, you’ll fry the board. Other things to consider are pure sine wave vs. modified square wave at 3% THD. Don’t do it
@@ArtVideoProductions Cool Bro because there is liteally nothing about that fixture. No one from youtube has checked it out, there are plenty about de 150R all of them from 2 years ago, but nothing about the SZ300R which seems that it was release 5 months ago.

Wow awesome review man!
Great video! Can you compare the SZ150R to the GVM 150S? Which would you say is better? Thanks!!
Extremely detailed review. Great job! I wonder the brightness difference between this and VL150. How much brightness we lose in cct mode?

Hi Beatrice, where and when did you purchase this light? I’ll be sure to reply later on.
@@ArtVideoProductions I returned it, it had a factory issue they concluded.

hello, I would like to know if I can make this pendant lamp Godox VSA-26K spotlight?
No, the SZ150R is not made nor intended for that.

Thank you for enjoying the content I provide.
I can run the SZ150R for 1 hour, 25 minutes, and the SZ200BI for 53 minutes.
Thank you so much. Subscribe and like 🥰😘

It’s the same exact light, only brighter.
