- Hasbro has been changing up their game recently and we have been getting a much more diverse range of collectibles this past year. But how well will this relatively unknown look for the X-Men's worst enemy sell as a more expensive deluxe release?

I still prefer these deluxe versions of figures rather than having to buy an entire wave with half of the figures being shitty in order to get the BAF. Especially when some of the BAFs get reissued later on with slight improvements and/or new paint and accessories.
Yea like Juggernaut, the figure was very nice but could have been the second version from the beginning.
Thank you. I’ve been saying for a while now that Marvel Legends should move away from the BAF model and use that budget on individual releases (similar to what they are doing with there other 6 inch lines). Just release the larger characters under a higher price point.
BAF is the main reason why I got into ML.. BAF reissue is the reason why I stopped buying the whole wave.. Ever since they reissued Movie Groot, I stopped buying the entire wave cause Hasbro will re-release the BAF in the future as a single card or part of a pack that's better anyway... Saved me a lot of $$$
Without the BAF though, how could Hasbro get you to buy 2 or 3 lazy, lackluster figures every wave?
Well i guess you can think of a baf as an early access to a figure. Keep in mind that some international collectors just can't afford to get entire waves of figures. So these deluxe releases are good for them.
I hope they rerelease the baf apocalyse with animated style painting.

My abd crunch is perfectly tight on my AOA Apocalypse.
I am a huge Apocalypse fan and a giant fan of the AOA storyline.

Just think Neca’s Super Shredder is roughly the same price as this piece of shiny plastic but Super Shredder had cloth goods, better range of motion in most areas, more accessories and tons and tons of paint detail.... at least Hasbro could have used some of their billions to at least make it a little better.... damn they are cheap to be a billion dollar company!

The ab crunch on mine is quite loose as well. Seems to be a common issue

I’ve had some floppy Hasbro ab-crunches on figures lately. Other floppy joints as well. Disappointing. The pledge floor care hack helps a little.
I like BAF version more, but didn't care about that wave much. So this one is my only choice for Apocalypse. Should work standing menacingly on the shelf, I guess.

Can you switch the top red collar part with the dark blue one from 2018 BAF ? Also with shoulder pads?
I can't wait to get this guy but I think, on the subject of accessories, that these Deluxe releases should come with a base for them to stand on. Like for him, maybe some ground peaking through with skulls and bones littered around him with a pile of skulls on one side of it. At least it would give the sole skull he can hold some nice context and I don't think it would add all that much to the figure's budget.

Just picked this apocalypse up today, found him at Target. I grabbed him along with the new marvel 20 pack of nano metal figs from jada toys and the marvel legends 2 pack of the movie version of deadpool and negasonic...... im most interested in a review from Anthonyscustoms of the new Deadpool!!!!!! Im super happy with the figure!!!!

Got mine not too long ago and am definitely a fan. I'm likely in the minority, but this is my favorite look for the character.

Was it ever revealed in canon why AOA Apocalypse doesn't have the arm hoses that his 616 and Animated Series version does? You noticed with this version and the AOA comic, he lacks them.
My ab crunch is super loose too.
Just got mine yesterday. Abs are a little loose. But no were near what yours is.
Just got mine in today and the waist joint is loose as well
Also I agree with that laugh head I think what they did would work if it was for an angry screaming head sculpt I myself depending on the fury can have my jaw open at about same measurement vertically at least

But right laughing it definitely makes no sense :/ and not too crazy on those eye designs for such a laughing expression

Why when you measure it you get 8 inches but the figure is listed EVERYWHERE at 15,2 cm (6 inch) Im so confused...
That's the marvel legends normal size in the listing. He's bigger than normal.

Those fists are not from colossus. These are much bigger. I would love to see venom on this mold. And a bigger mold for apoc.

Personally I hate these colors or from the comic comparisons maybe if they made those light color blues dark blue? And the red don’t match color scheme wise cause even though it’s bright red it appears dark as well like it’s a heavy colored bright red

Plus interchangeable hands are nice but at least have sets not just one for one arm if I’m gonna pay a lot for this figure with stuff I gotta learn to live with to have an apocalypse figure least they could do is make it worth it

AnthonysCustoms it’s a perfect example of your overly critical eye. This is a $30 figure by Hasbro that comes with VERY cleanly painted heads IMO. I don’t know a single person with this figure or that has reviewed that had issues with the jawline. I feel like you are just saying anything to be controversial at this point.
I don't know about this apoc version but I think the Apocalypse BAF is still the best one.

To be completely honest, I don’t even care about this figure. I just wanted to give Anthony a view, although the paint is nice.
