I think I prefer the 30 dollar baf over the baf lookwise and everything else . However , I don't have the apocalypse baf

Great review! Never having been able to acquire the first Hasbro Apocalypse baf, I might get this one to turn into him, lol. Wasn't a super huge AoA fan but I do recall the story and designs.

I like the older BAF Apocalypse and this caped lighter blue Apocalypse too..
I like the color on the older one more.. But I like the overall look via cape, shoulder pads, on this one more..
Can't really choose what is better..

I agree with you. I like the color scheme and the boots on the BAF more, but i do like the closed mouth head and the shoulder pads on the new one more. There's only one thing to do, spray paint the new shoulder pads black, put them and the new head on the BAF and there we go

Finally copped an Apocalypse baf from the older waves. I wonder how the age of apocalypse open hands look on the older one? Are they interchangeable?
I prefer the original baf look but was never able to get it so this would be a great alternative.
I had that same problem until I found a figure shop in Dover Delaware called They're Action Figures he has a Facebook I contacted him there and got the apocalypse Build a figure pieces I needed he might still have some or can get them and it was only $8.00 a piece

I guess credit to Hasbro for making this a separate thing. This way the people that are happy with the old one can skip this and get Sugar Man and people who just need an Apocalypse don't have to shell out for a BAF.

I will forever regret never grabbing Gladiator when I had the chance. He was the first figure I saw in the entire wave at a local comic book store and I wasn't super invested enough to get him and figured I'd get him another time. So to this day my Apocalypse BAF remains headless, so I'm thankful the head does fit and match even if it is loose. I didn't want to ever regret passing up certain characters so I pre-ordered two of this guy. I have a feeling he'll be just as price inflated as his BAF because several ppl will have the same idea of swapping heads. I do prefer the BAF appearance, but I still like this look too.
Definitely like the modern ver better especially if you have his clamp hand. I did not realize AoA ver does not have tubes but I will still be getting the AoA and the best part is the modern ver does not lose value.

I had to end up getting a 3rd party head for baf Apocalypse because ai passed on Gladiator too many times. Seeing this figures heads they would work well on my BAF. I wasn’t considering him, but it is hard to argue against the value.
Found the new cobra trooper at target today. Couldn’t buy it didn’t even have enough time for a picture of it. Was a good looking figure street date is august 24th I think

Like extra hands (open, relaxed or grabbing hands), maybe effects, Maybe even a headsculpt of the burnt wolverine like Toybiz did. There are so much possibilities brother, if the figures in the Sugar Man wave dose'nt come alot of accesories, then they should've packed him with accesories of a figure

AOA Apocalypse is better. I like the sculpt of the yelling mouth on the BAD fig more than the AOA one. I think it's worth the $30.

I prefer the baf because it’s a classic Apocalypse and not this forgettable one off version from an easily dismissed/ forgotten event. I will get it to have more heads/ expressions though. I wonder how that cape looks on the baf . . .

I hate how they’re using these horrible single jointed elbows that barely make 110 degrees when they had double jointed elbows on arms around this size years ago with the avengers hulk and ultimate goblin. Clunky ass arms make posing it look nothing short of ridiculous if you want to have him in a fighting stance when he can barely bend his arms
