Ron, Thanks to your recommendation I had initially dabbled my feet in the waters of an alternative Venice with the starter set. I swam deeper. I am fond of those Lovecraftian deep one knock offs. As a rule I am not fond of cardboard buildings but Carnevale has been an unexpected delight. Years ago my uncle, the only lad in a family of eleven, otherwise all daughters including the youngest, my mother, cast me some toy soldiers. Glossy fellows that he painted. I still have them and fight wars they never dreamt of. We share, my American chum if I may be so bold, a wonderful pastime. Old uncles light our path and mayhap tolerant wives forgive us our boyish charms and pecadilloes. With best wishes Ron. I still think you look like Hunter S Thompson.
I am intending to do some Carnevale soon.
Fun looking miniatures. I need to add this to my list. :)
The game is a lot of fun, and I don’t enjoy slasher films.
I got my Tier 2 and extras, it's got me super excited!
Me too
Not my cup of tea but always interesting to go off piste. I adore Carnevale which you flagged up. I still play Mordheim and indeed Frostgrave. My true love, I am apparently by threats of marital violence required to add apart from my wife, is the American War of Independence. 28 mil and drop dead gorgeous. That`s not the wife by the way, she is somewhat taller. I proxy some of the figures for the French and Indian war and feel guilty. You sir as I have said before are the Hunter S Thompson of the wargaming world. Happy New Year Ron and I look forward to your posts in 2024. What a fine pastime we have fallen into.
I am more sober than Thompson, but so are most people! I plan on doing a Carnevale video soon, I started one but things quickly got out of hand. Do you have a preference for sides in Carneval?
This still available?
The Back Room deal isn't but most of the items are now available on the regular webpage, and it all will be eventually. Black Sites do not do exclusives.
